Alvin Greene’s New Campaign Media Strategy: Bunny Ears

During a live broadcast report from the South Carolina state fairgrounds, one reporter unknowingly gave an exclusive look at Alvin Greene, the Democrat challenging incumbent Sen. Jim DeMint. In the video clip, the Senatorial candidate can be seen in a green hat and green t-shirt, standing over the newsman’s left shoulder waving and making rabbit ears:
The latest polls show a steep uphill climb for Greene, who currently trails Sen. DeMint by about 45 points. An unemployed veteran, Greene stunned his own party when he secured their nomination earlier this year. Last week, the Democrat‘s attorney brushed off questions about Greene’s pending felony charges alleges he showed a teenage college student online pornography on a campus computer lab last year. According to Greene’s attorney, it was only trying to “flirt” with the girl.
“He was attempting to flirt with a young lady who had no interest in him,” Eleazer Carter told The Associated Press. “While the charges are very serious, I think it boils down to, when a lady turns you down, has it reached a criminal offense?”

Posted on October 14, 2010 at 6:11pmBy far, the best outing Greene has had on television thus far. His only misstep was the bunny ears – the rest of his performance was flawless.

Posted on October 14, 2010 at 5:48pmHe just figured that since we have an equal opportunity president, he might be able to be an equal opportunity Senator.
I mean, a lot of people demonstrated that they were perfectly willing to vote for an unqualified nobody from nowhere who no one had ever heard of before just because he was black. Right into the Oval Office, at that.
This Greene fellow just demonstrates that Democrats haven’t changed one bit…..

Posted on October 14, 2010 at 5:26pmWell it‘s comforting to see that he’s 45 points down in the polls. It‘s an indication that the voters aren’t as stupid as the morons that thought it would be a great idea to run somebody with the intellect of an 8 year old as their candidate for a senate seat.
Not that it really matters. He‘ll be convicted of felony obscenity soon and out of everyone’s hair. Here’s another example of his blithering idiocy in action if you want another laugh.

Posted on October 14, 2010 at 5:54pmSouth Carolina Senate Election 2010: Jim DeMint (R) 63%, Alvin Greene (D) 19% that’s the last headline I saw and about that video? Most bazaar thing I have ever heard! If the Republicans would stoop so low as to PLANT A CANDIDATE (known Dem tactic) WHY on EARTH would they ever pick such an IGNORANT guy? The Dems ONLY WISH he was plant! lol What a joke. They shouldn’t talk about any opposing candidates as long they have this moron!

Posted on October 14, 2010 at 4:35pmI’m having trouble with posting–hope this shows up. I think we need to leave Alvin Greene alone. He paid his money to file, get on the ballot and and has a right to run for office. Frankly. I am tired of watching the media use him and treat him like a joke. It’s unkind at the least and mean spirited at the most. As to his legal troubles— let the courts sort that out.

Posted on October 14, 2010 at 4:19pmIf your defense for showing a coed internet porn is that you were flirting with her, isn’t that kinda like saying you shot someone because you thought they were a cop? Is it OK to sexually harrass someone, if there‘s a chance she’ll dig it? I hope this guy isn’t typical of liberals, but I know too many liberals with similar delusions.

Posted on October 14, 2010 at 4:16pmThe Dems are trying to mimick the Tea Party by running regular folks. The problem is that their idea of regular folks are loons to the rest of us.
Report Post »CaptElaine
Posted on October 14, 2010 at 6:06pmThis man was NOT a Tea Party candidate… he won as a DEMOCRAT with 60% of the voting Democrats voting for him, 40% of the Democrats voted for Tim Rawls… it is believed that because the ballot was in alphabetical order and so Greene was first on the list that position… is why people voted for him. The other theory is that nobody knew who he was… they did know Rawls and did not like him or want him and voted for the ‘other’ guy… turns out the other guy is a little nutty. For those that think he’s a moron… guess again… he is a college graduate… which means he’s smarter than he looks, or a college education aint what it used to be. Jim DeMint would have beaten anybody the Democrats could have put on the ticket, he is a well loved Senator in SC>

They believe animals are gay, that Muslims extremism doesn’t exist (and if it does it’s not their fault, someone must have said something to make them mad), that sexuality , a learned behaviour, is somehow connected to your genetics, and that the your very breath (CO2) angers the climate gods and causes havok on the earth and all it occupants.

Posted on October 14, 2010 at 4:42pmButcher, I understand your being an athiest to say that homosexuality is genetic as is all human sexuality. You see if there were a God, He would be a vicious person because He says its a sin but the person has no choice for that proclivity. The person does still have the choice NOT to have homosexual sex but that’s a pretty big obstacle to overcome. There is no question that sex is a big bahavior motivator. Just ask any advertising person.

Posted on October 14, 2010 at 3:59pmNeither party, if they feel they have no chance of winning an election, should abandon the state and allow such an embarrassing candidate to win the nomination. They should at least put forth a candidate that can honestly represent the party and debate the issues.
