See U.S. & French Diplomats Walk Out During Ahmadinejad’s U.N. Speech

UNITED NATIONS (The Blaze/AP) — American diplomats walked out of the U.N. General Assembly as Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered a fiercely anti-American speech.
In what CBS News is calling “a frequently-seen diplomatic snub,” more than a dozen diplomats from other countries, including France, left the chamber soon afterward. CBS News has more regarding the despot’s harsh words:
Making reference to what he called the “mysterious September 11th incident” and the “slave masters and colonial powers” of the West, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad excoriated Western member nations in an address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
More specifically, Ahmadinejad explicitly attacked the United States for its history of slavery, causing two world wars, using a nuclear bomb against “defenseless people,” and imposing and supporting military dictatorships and totalitarian regimes on Asian, African and Latin American nations.
YNetNews.com recaps just one of the statements the Middle Eastern leader made about the world’s treatment of Israel:
Addressing the 66th UN General Assembly Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the world “must wonder… If after six decades the Holocaust is still used as an excuse to pay ransom to the Zionists… what will happen if the same amount of money was allocated to poor nations?”
This isn’t the first time Ahmadinejad has sparked controversy while addressing the U.N. This strong response from diplomats showcases the continued strain that exists between Western powers and the Iranian regime.

Posted on September 22, 2011 at 1:49pmThis man is disgusting from the inside out, talk about a tyrant. He spews nothing but self glory and his allegiance to the corrupt and vile religious authorities in his state. Iran is not a Republic, a Republic is a government of the people, by the people, for the people, and with Liberty and Justice for all. Checks and Balances are put in place in a Republic, Iran has none. Iran’s state of government is do as your told or you will be punished.

Posted on September 22, 2011 at 1:57pmTry to imagine the horrors going on right now inside the infamous Evin Prison in Iran. Torture, Rape, murder of innocent people who have only said they disagree with the regime. Their blood is on his hands and he talks as if he is a saint. Hitler walks and talks among us and we do nothing. He shoots his people in the street, rounds them up never to be heard from again. But we make War on Libya and do nothing with the likes of Syria and Iran. We are stronger than this and if we had a intact moral compass we would rid the world of this regime and others like it. Liberals pay lip service to their values only but are afraid to back them up, atleast Bush made a statement about what will not stand. 911!!!

Report Post »The nuclear armed Israel, on the other hand, has attacked all of its neighbors, most many times. We see what we want to see.
We see al Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah, but we never saw those who were first to bring modern terrorism to Palestine; Irgun, Haganah, or the Stern Gang.
And, by the way, Iraq did not attack, nor could it have attacked, nor did it threaten to attack the United States. Page 335 of the 9/11 Commission Report tells us who first called for attacking Iraq. It was Paul Wolfowitz, the Wolfowitz who has a sister living in Israel, and the same Wolfowitz who, along with his buddy Richard Perle, wanted to carry out the written for Netanyahu plan titled, “A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm.” We only see what we want to see… forget these facts.

Posted on September 22, 2011 at 4:31pm@Smackdown33 I have watched for years as I see the Palestenian people kill Isrealies with no provocation. In every case, I’ve seen a measured response by Isreal. In EVERY case, that measured response has been proportionatly smaller than the reason for the response.
I realize that the Palestenians are fighting for their land that they never had possesion of in the first place… let me say that again, they NEVER had posession of the land in the first place.
The land that Isreal occupies is from the 6 day war that was started by every surrounding country, and the Isrealies kicked their butt. After that attack, they took the land as the only way to protect from another similar attack.
Since then, the Palestinian charter has been to wipe Isreal off the map. Let me say that again… their charter is to wipe Isreal off the map. Do you accept this? Or do you see only what you want to see?

What should have happened is those diplomats should have stood up afterwards and rebutted it…..first by stating that a dictator himself has no place at the podium much less castigating anyone else on dictatorships. (a dictator never thinks he is a dictator…) Next, his b.s. speeches about nuclear energy are a joke—who is he trying to convince? HIMSELF I guess? His stated goals are to wipe Israel off the map, next wash the U.S. in blood, and more importantly, anytime someone wants to verify that is mere energy they are trying to produce, he threatens with violence.
