WASHINGTON (AP/The Blaze) — A U.S. defense official says an American military helicopter has crashed in southwestern Afghanistan with four U.S. troops aboard.
There was no immediate word on casualties.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the crash is under investigation, said it could not be ruled out that the Black Hawk helicopter was taken down by enemy fire, but early indications were that weather may have been a factor.

Posted on April 20, 2012 at 5:20amWouldn’t “Four soldiers on board” be a better headline? Saying “four soldiers involved” makes it sound like they did something wrong. Like it was some kind of scandle. Sometimes I have to wonder what bonehead thinks up the headlines on here.

Posted on April 19, 2012 at 8:09pmBring them home now.
We can’t win. Why throw more men and women into this meat grinder.
Please dear god keep them safe, please every one demand they come home now.
Bail, pull out. declare victory. I don’t care. The moment we leave that h3ll hole will revert to what it was. Every life lost is wasted. No benefit.
I defy anyone to give a reason why we should stay. All we are doing is training our enemy and giving them better weapons. And for this we should spend another year and another 1000 lives.
Bring them home.
