ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — The owner of an Alaska barber shop didn’t let an SUV crashing through the front of his store cause a bad hair day for a client.
Police in Anchorage say the driver was pulling in to park at Han’s Barber Shop on Wednesday when his foot slipped off the brake pedal and hit the gas.
KTUU-TV reports the owner, Han Song, finished the haircut he’d been working on while the vehicle was still inside the shop.
No one was hurt in the crash.

Posted on December 2, 2010 at 9:58pmI’ve been to that barber. I asked for a buzz cut and he shaved all of my hair off. After the first pass with the clippers it was too late to tell him no, that’s not what I wanted.

Posted on December 2, 2010 at 9:09pmThe customer tells Han, I want you to cut one side shorter than the other, leave one sideburn on and shave the other one, put a bunch of nicks on the side of my head and leave some long strands sticking out on the top of my head. Han says, I can’t cut your hair that way. The customer says, why not that’s the way you cut it last time.

Posted on December 2, 2010 at 8:05pmYou can’t stop a hair cut in the middle. You would forget what was cut and have to cut more off what was already cut and a very hard time getting it even.

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 1:31amAw, come on – if you can‘t tell what’s shorter, i.e. what’s been cut, you’re not a real barber.

Couple of small snowstorms were enough for me with snow coming down; A Blizzard? Seen the show about the crab fishing men, God Above that takes guts. No wonder Palin is so tough, I only have to deal with the AZ deserts growing up.

Posted on December 2, 2010 at 7:51pmGuess this could be turned into the worlds first drive through barber shop; at least he does not need to worry about getting business attention now for the place – and to keep going on clipping hair? Yes, it is good work ethics indeed.

Posted on December 2, 2010 at 8:15pmOf course, gotta make a WH analogy here: The barber is just like every great American while this adminstration tries to recklessly bulldoze us. We just keep going.

Posted on December 2, 2010 at 8:23pmIf I was sitting in that chair, I’d want the barber to finish the job! Who wants to go out with half a hair cut? Of course, I’d ask to have the cloth covering my garments wrapped completely around me. No need to expose to the world any soiled garments.
