Ann Coulter Is Still Holding Out For Chris Christie

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter gave her two cents on the 2012 Republican presidential primary race thus far on Fox News Sunday morning.

The “Demonic” author thinks that Minnesota‘s Tim Pawlenty was a ’fine governor,’ Texas Gov. Rick Perry is on paper the kind of 2012 candidate Republicans dream of, and would still bet on Mitt Romney making it to the general election.

However, Coulter is still holding out for a late entrance from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and believes the Iowa straw poll does not mean much.

He has appointed a Muslim judge….that in my mind shows naivety in thought, he apparently has as little self control as Obama….one can’t stop smoking, the other can’t stop eating. He apparently has no self discipline as his size shows. He has ruled in favor of stricter gun laws, and finally I have not seen anything, except the union deal that I like about the guy. And the Coulter thing has become a joke almost. Eat a biscuit woman.

Don’t understand her obsession with Christie. He’s semi-conservative and has some troubling issues. Perry is a Bildeberg pick, so not a good choice at all. I actually think Mitt Romney is the best choice even with his Mass. healthcare. He did say he would repeal Obamacare and he is not, as far as I can check, a Bildeberger. If Mitt would pick Allen West as his VP or Sec. of State, that would be great. Maybe Bachmann as VP.

I think the thing that attracted me to Governor Christie in the first place is the way he puts others in their place. If Chris has a belief, you will not change it just because there are polls or a bunch or protestors are complaining. he does exactly what he and his advisers want to do, and no amount of negative publicity will stop him.

So he is not a wishy-washy, wimpy wussie like Obummer and others who Compromise everything they do just to try and satisfy everyone, and wind up disappointing wealthy job creators.

What, exactly, has Chris Christie achieved other than demonstrating that, unlike 99.9% of other Republicans, he has the spine to stand up to unions. Governors Kasich, Scott, and Walker have accomplished much more than Christie and none have had the need to grab a microphone and tell everyone who will listen about their accomplishments.

Christie is a loud-mouthed politician who lacks dignity and refinement, traits that are mandatory in the leader of the free world. He verbally attacks anyone who questions his alliance with Muslims; refuses to address the fact that NJ is in the top 5 of states attracting illegal aliens; and prides himself on his positions on “green” initiatives.

It would be more appropriate for Christie to head a union than a country and more appropriate for Ann Coulter to cease endorsing career politicians owned by Party bosses and commence endorsing those who are shunned by the Party if we are ever to take back our government/country.

You bet he is. New Jersey is the worst state in the union for gun owners. Sheriffs and police Chiefs get to make the decison as to whether you can have a gun. This is dependent on how much you “contribute” to his reelection campaign. Ina case a couple of years ago the Sheriff of Windsor Township refused a guy who sued in State Court. The court ordered him to issue the license but teh sheriff never gave a reason for turning the guy down though state law says he must. This took place before Heller VS DC. The State Supreme Court justice made the statement that “New Jersey law trumps the Constitution”. We in the South tried that argument 155 years ago and you see what happened to us. Another was flying to PA and his plane needed to land in Newark, He had guns in his luggage legally declared. The next day he went to fly from Newark to PA, declared the guns in his luggage and he was arrested by a State Trooper for bringing guns into the state. It cost him a fortune in attorney’s fees but he did get off. There are numeropus examples of this stuff. Sen. Lautenberg is very antigun and gets his mooney from the Brady people and their hangers on. So are many of the state legislaors. Incfredibly this guy is a distant cousin(Ex Jersey Dutchman here) and I wouldn’t pee on him if he was on fire.

Christie isn’t running period. Our best bet is probably Romney but (I need to see more of him) is Perry. He’s the one candidate I was really interested in. I don‘t want a candidate who can’t ever compromise which would result in total gridlock which is all we ever see except when we have a party is in control of everything. I don’t like that either as that is how we got Obamacare.

Im really getting tired of the “plugging of the books” in every article pertaining some pundit who has ever written one. We get it, we know the majority of them have written “a book”. I agree though, Chris christie would be a good candidate, but i dont see that happening at this point either. At this point, our best hope is for the economy to collapse more, and the masses demanding obama resign immediately. Then, when that happens, the secret service will escort joe biden out of office after finding him sucking his thumb on the floor of the oval office, in the fetal position, and having no clue who or where he is. Then, boehner will assume the presidency for the short term, and pass the cut/cap and balance bill, and by executive order, nullifies obama care just before the election. and that concludes the fantasy part of the program.

The plan for 2012 is to take control — like the dems did in 2006 / 2008. We have the house, we’re getting closer on the senate and the track for Obummer is OUT. We are well positioned to take full control — but we need the conviction and backbone to do it. Why are conservatives such wimps? Be a little entrepreneurial and take a risk for Gosh sake.

I really feel that romney is too liberal. He isn’t conservative enough to repeal obamycare (since he’s for it and passed a similar law in MA when he was governor), or any of the unAmerican rules and laws that have been established by this communist reign. He also is a compromiser–we don’t need a compromiser with congress or the senate. And, just like obamy, he has yet to produce a financial plan or any plan for the direction of this country. He has spent the last four years campaigning–that is four years without practice and experience as far as I’m concerned. Now Rick Perry–he can pull this country together and get the job done since he has the experience of directing Texas all these years.

Ann really needs to focus on the candidates who are running, most notably Michelle Bachmann, Allen West, and Rick Perry. I don’t know if Sarah Palin is running, but I’m starting to think she has made a decision not to run as of right now since she might be hopeful of Michelle Bachmann, Allen West, or Rick Perry. if she didn’t have much faith in them then she would of made the decision to run herself. what ever her choice is, she needs to let the public know before the primaries are over and its too late

I never listen to her because she is conceited and a narcissist. Her and Obama should actually get along just fine as they both love themselves a great deal.

Christy doesn’t stand a chance and probably hopes to get a VP nod—that would be just fine. The best ticket would be Bachmann & Cain, female and black—now tell me the Republicans are racist. We would split the Liberal vote and tear it to pieces. Not only that but they are both HIGHLY qualified to do the job.

our team to fill a quota of race or gender.

I am not a racist but the ONLY reason Obummer got elected is because he is black and got the black vote out. McCain attempted to separate the female vote by selecting Palin. Politics are such that there needs to be some strategy to get the ones you want into office. Oh, Darkfire, if your comments are indeed true, that Ron Paul will never get the Republican nomination, then we are done as a country.

There is no other candidate who will defend our Constitution and our individual liberty. No other candidate who dares to go up against the corrupt Federal Reserve and has been doing so since he began in Congress.

No other candidate who will not be controlled by the globalists pushing the “integration” of our country with Mexico and Canada via the creation of the TRANS TEXAS CORRIDOR, a key element of the NORTH AMERICAN UNION and the destruction of the dollar… created by the Council on Foreign Relations, CFR, the spin-off of the Bilderberg Group.

Both Romney and Perry are CFR members but it seems Perry is selected to be their next homeboy, boot-licking, occupant of our beloved White House..

Whatever anyone may think about Julius Assange and Wikileaks, there is now proof that these plans are very real indeed.

Dr, Paul is correct that Israel has some 300 nukes to whack Iran. Since 2010, they also have 3 subs offshore with anti-ballistic cruise missiles that will destroy any Iranian nuke launch within Iranian airspace.

Israel can protect itself very well without our assistance and all the major power countries know this

BUNCH OF BS. They dont even mention Ron Paul the runner up, and all these hacks typing on here for the right have to be getting paid to comment on here. WHAT a JOKE! The link that brought me here stated this:

“BACHMANN WINS IOWA STRAW POLL, BUT ANN COULTER WAITS FOR CHRIS CHRISTIE
Michele Bachmann handily defeated the rest of the announced GOP 2012 Presidential hopefuls in Saturday’s Iowa straw poll, but conservative commentator Ann Coulter is holding out for NJ Governor Chris Christie to enter the race. Watch Ms. Coulter’s breakdown of the straw poll HERE.”

“Handily” what a crock of crap. Less than 1% and less and 200 votes was Ron Paul. I hope the average American see this crap for the crap it is. Do American a favor, if you are reading this please watch this video, and tell me why you think the corporate sponsored media is covering him up.
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQNpXm7h7aA
Answer: A lot of corporations have a vested interest in making America overspend. The average American taxpayer is getting SCREWED. This is truly sickening.

Exactly right, YoungConservative. It’s breathtaking to behold how they either marginalize him, label him as being supported by Libertarian crazies, or simply ignore him … which is what they have done regarding the near tie with Bachmann in Iowa.

All the talk leading up to the straw poll was about Bachmann, Romney and, puhleeze, Pawlenty. The talk immediately following was all about how Bachmann came through, her campaign is now on fire, how Romney wasn’t participating, and how Pawlenty lost …. bla, bla, bla. That Bachmann “squeaked” out a win, in her home, socially conservative, turf was ignored.

And, it seems Fox News’ “Who Won the Presidential Debate” poll results were not mentioned, as promised, during Hannity’s Saturday night live show from Iowa, or at anywhere else on their TV side. Why? Because Ron Paul trounced everyone else, that’s why.

Before they pulled it, the results were these: http://oi51.tinypic.com/1zqughz.jpg.

      Paul: 20,776
      Gingrich: 5760
      Cain: 3099
      Bachmann: 2314
      Romney: 2309
      Santorum: 1004
      Huntsman 400
      Pawlenty: 321

      Active Cities: 6,965
      Total Votes: 35,983

Shame on you, Fox News. Shame on all the major media outlets who do not report fairly.

Young conservative, I feel your pain. However I agree the press should report accurately on the straw poll results.However,riverdog1 is right Ron Paul, tho the best qualified candidate as far as constitutionality goes will not get elected. It does break my heart that the American people know so little about the way the government is suppose to run and the limits it suppose to have.
This being said I vote that who ever gets elected would be a fool not to make him Head of the Department of the Treasury.

I agree. Whether you are a supporter or not, it is wrong to ignore this man. He is a legitimate candidate and has won several straw polls. He virtually tied for first place and they still ignore that fact. I will add this, however. His comments about letting Iran get their nukes was waaaaay out there. That would be like giving the the keys to destroy Israel.

I would oppose Christie also but it has nothing to do with appointing a Muslim to the courts. I am concerned about an individual who thinks NJ has “reasonable gun laws” and, despite recent evidence of fraud, buys into the Al Gore message on global warming.

@ABLE1: Umm, maybe Christie would like to see sharia law but Marco Rubio is the most conservative senator besides Jim Demint and yes, by far more conservative than ( don’t know the reason why) Allen West…. You can’t lump him into what Christie would do.. It‘s very obvious you have no clue what Rubio’s views are.. Check him out, if you’re a real conservative you will love him.

Ain’t gonna happen Ann. His boat was sunk with that whole Muslim Judge thing. Islam isn‘t a religion it’s a political ideology and if a true Muslim were to in fact come across this judge and claim Sharia law he by his own ideology that precedes American law must permit him his due. If he does then his integrity of American beliefs are in question. If not then he’s not a true Muslim and his integrity of Muslim beliefs are in questioned.

    See where I’m going here.

Understand Islam and it’s commandments and laws. Obviously Christie fails here and I will not support him,

I’m not so sure about that. The timing of that decision and the way he made a big deal of it in the media almost makes me think he did that to ‘moderate’ is his image a bit… Just in case he does decide to run. Judging by some of his previous statements, I can’t imagine him doing that in the case of a Supreme Court nominee.

So Sharia law first them American law. That is if he follows Islam as the faithful are supposed to do.

Ann Coulter is smart enough, powerful enough and sticks a fork in the eye of Politically Correct politicians in a way that shows more courage and passion than most other journalist, writers and commentators could ever muster in a few years. Anyone with a target on their back that can manuever, think, and outwit most of her contemporaries is as refreshing as a spring rain.
