Ann Coulter to Romney: ‘You’d Better Be as Right-Wing a President as I Tell People You Will Be!’

Ann Coulter Tells Sean Hannity That Conservatives Should Be Celebrating Mitt RomneyDuring an appearance on Hannity’s America, Ann Coulter shared her view that Mitt Romney is the “most conservative” candidate left out of the four and thus, conservatives “should be celebrating” the notion that he could become the Republican nominee. Coulter heaped on the praise, calling Romney “appealing” and “gentlemanly” in addition to comparing him to conservative icon Ronald Reagan.

Mediaite adds:

Hannity and Coulter turned to the President for a bit after, talking about the damage money going to Solyndra and large spending numbers under the President. Coulter noted that despite this, it is still “very, very hard to take out an incumbent President,” which is why she would like to see New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as vice president. Hannity countered that he preferred Sen.Marco Rubio. Coulter liked that idea, “but Christie, that’s once in a generation.” Hannity liked him but couldn’t see him as second to anyone. “But that’s why I like him!” Coulter countered.

Coulter added that in speaking to Romney told him, “you owe me and you’d better be as right-wing a President as I tell people you will be!” Asked how Romney responded, Coulter said the GOP hopeful laughed and told her not to worry.

For some reason, I believe Coulter. I think she’s right on this one.
Ron Paul – scary – way too far right. Just saying, as a person who grew up with law-abiding alcoholic and smoking parents, legalizing drugs is a really bad idea- one that will destroy our nation’s most fundamental unit, the family.
Plus, seriously, does Ron Paul exude strength at all?
He’s right about most things, but where he’s wrong, he’s flat-out dangerous!
      Santorum? Maybe.

Anyone – including Coulter – who thinks Romney can beat Obama hasn’t studied Bain Capital. The leftist media destroyed Bachman (remember the Newsweek picture), crushed Cain (unsubstantiated allegations) and did a hatchet job on Gingrich (ABC interview with ex-wife). They haven’t laid a *glove* on Romney. Why?

Bain Capital. They’ll destroy him with it. He’s the poster boy for a wall street corporate rich Republican, and it turns out Bain’s business model is reaaaally bad.

Here’s an interview with a conservative venture capitalist about Bain…

Ann Coulter is a Romney zombie and gets most of her opinions from conservative talk radio which is mostly owned by Mitt Romneys / Bain Capital’s Clear Channel.

Clear Channel owns more radio stations (850) than anyone else in the United States. They also own Premiere Radio Networks, the company that syndicates the radio shows of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck, among others.

Clear Channel basically owns conservative talk radio in the United States. So who owns Clear Channel?

The company that Mitt Romney ran for so long is one of the “big bosses” over virtually all conservative talk radio in America. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clear_Channel_Communications

      Parnell,
Ronald Reagan lost to Gerald Ford in 1976 who then lost to Jimmy Carter.
Ronald Reagen went on to slap Jimmy Carter in the face in 1980.
So to say Romney lost to the loser McCain doesn’t mean a thing.

And the little states get to vote first because if they didn’t, they wouldn’t get much of a say at all. It helps to make them relevant when stading against the bigger states.
Personally, I think there should be 3 or 4 super Tuesday’s.
10 or 15 states at a time every couple of weeks and no one gets an advantage or disadvantage.

No, it appears Ann Coulter has a crush upon herself. She needs to wake up, take a long look in the mirror, do a little self-actualization, grab a little humility along the way and begin to speak truths again. she can come out of the fog, if she is serious enough.

Ron Paul supporters are much like the OWS crowd….Fanatical in their support for and love of this singularly ridiculous individual. He hasn’t an ounce of charisma, and his ideas for the direction this country should take are just short of being characterized as “kooky..“ If we are as many people say ”in a downward spiral,” a Ron Paul administration would simply accelerate this process…

Ann Coulter is from the Eastern Liberal Establishment….First, she was all goo goo eyed at Christie, simply because he has a talent for shouting down soccer moms from his bully pulpit as governor, and then when her beloved Christie refused to run because he must have much more baggage than is hanging around his waist, she switched her allegiance to Mitt the Twit, and is now going on every talk show she can get on, to sing his praises…I used to like Ann Coulter…Thought she was a wonderful voice for conservatism….But I now think she has shaken her hair out of her eyes once too often, and has probably suffered some brain damage from doing so….I bought all her books, read her column every Thursday, and generally respected almost everything she had to say. I will never again read her column, nor buy any of her books, and when she appears on my TV screen as a guest on any program, I will not watch that program…

      Think about this
If Texas had been the first primary
Mitt Romney would have bowed out an Rick Perry would
      likely be the front runner.
It’s all a matter of Timeing.
When this gets to the South an Texas (149 delegates)
Mitt will no longer be the front runner.
an will not be able to get to 1142
needed to win on first ballot

Coultier has lost all credibility. With tonight’s results from Missouri, Minnesota and Colorado Newt needs to bow out and put his support behind Santorum. We can’t put a moderate against King Hussein in November. The Christian conservatives will stay home just like they did in 2008.

Mitt’s progressive elitist attitude toward the poor came out and bit him in the arse.

King Hussein wanted Romney to get the nomination, because when the negative adds about the LDS hit the airwaves they knew the Conservative Christian base would be turned off and not come out to support him at the polls. Just like they didn’t support McCain in 2008.

I will not be voting for Ron Paul because I don’t think he will be nearly as good a president as Romney. That’s my opinion and my choice. When Sununu sends the message that, “Anyone attacks Romney on Bain is going to get payback from Wall Street,” he’s basically giving the Obama campaign another tool to cast Romney as the 1% against Obama being the 99%.
Romney and his campaign are so corrupt. Between bribing endorsers to these strong arm tactics, trying to get Adelson to cut off funding Newt, it really is just amazing how they are trying to steal this election.

FOX, as you say, has wandered off the reservation, and in many respects is becoming a joke and a thorn in the side of true Americans looking for media access and conservative thought expression to stand up for and assist in the taking back of America.

Don‘t know if Rupert is becoming senile and not sure where Roger Ailes’s head is at – hopefully not in his hind end. In any case, if Fox is going to be any way helpful in resurrecting America, the leadership of FOX needs to take a hard look at what is going on there and do some serious revamping. Don’t mind the “fair and balanced” aspect, but it seems to be leaning a bit further to the left – not a good thing.

He was THROWN OUT(side) OF OFFICE after ONE TERM as governor and didn’t run for a 2nd term because his polling was so low.

Romney was also THROWN OUT(side) in his FAILED MA senate run in 1994.

Romney was also THROWN (OUT(side) when he lost to John McCain.

Romney is an OUTSIDER all right. He even keeps his money in OUTSIDE BANKS in the Cayman Ilands and Switzerland.

The man had a POOR job creation record in MA, BELIEVES in RomneyCare which is FAR FAR FAR FAR from being conservative, he believed in Global Warming before he didn’t believe it, he voted AGAINST the 2nd amendment, he not once nominated even a “moderate” to the MA bench all 36 judges he appointed WERE LIBERALS, and on and on and on on..

I agree, Romney will tell you what he is told you want to hear to get your vote.

Between January and September 2011, Mitt Romney’s Bain Capital gave Barack Obama $27,500!
So far this year, Bain Capital donated $123,200 to the Democratic National Committee. They also donated to a Romney super PAC; $1.25 million!

Romney’s companies have sent 25% of this year’s donations to the Democrats, while in 2008, 2/3 of their money went to Obama!

Romney‘s top contributor is Goldman Sachs who was Obama’s top contributor in 2007-2008:

“According to Federal Election Commission figures compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics, Goldman Sachs’ political action committee and individual contributors who listed the company as their employer donated $994,795 during 2007 and 2008 to Obama’s presidential campaign.”
April 20, 2010 From Robert Yoon, CNN Political Research Director

Isn’t it funny how so many people who are tired of the same old thing, go for the same old thing election after election.

Can we get a contract signed by Coulter that if Romney turns out to be the nominee and he becomes President and then acts like a Scott Brown, that we can ship her Latvia, never to return and spew her bull crap any more? Talk about a flip flopper…. Coulter is worse than Romney. One year ago she was saying if he was the nominee, we would lose. Now she is saying Romney is the best candidate. Did she take the blue pill or the red pill?

Not sure why Hannity has Coulter on anymore; she’s on his radio show, his tv show–it’s completely wasted air time. She’s irrelevent at this point. How anyone can pick Romney and be a true conservaitve; well, it’s a joke. I hope Santorum rocks here in Colorado tomorrow; he’s the real conservaitve in this race.

Santorum nor Gingrich are on the ballot in states with over 500+ delegates.

DELEGATES NEEDED TO WIN: 1,144 – DELEGATES REMAINING: 2146 (as of February 5, 2012)
2146-500 = 1646 – 1144= 502 remaining delegates before Santorum is completely out of it. If Romney isnt stopped now, it will be to late.

Tron, you need to start listening to guys like Mutiny here. Paul is going to be the only chance to get rid of Obama and Obama likes. Do some real research on him. Look at this article by Yahoo and do what it says. You may be surprised. http://voices.yahoo.com/for-truth-ron-paul-skip-article-and-10912603.html?com=2&cat=9

…mutiny…i agree with you about dr. paul, but paul is up against the staunch evangelical right wing and they are for santorum who has NO CHANCE of winning. i don‘t get it either but it seems the right wing evangelicals don’t “see the light”.

Midwest, Then I would say to the Evangelicals that they do not understand the true menaing of seperation of church and state and being an honorable man for that matter.

“My faith is a deeply private issue to me, and I don’t speak on it in great detail during my speeches because I want to avoid any appearance of exploiting it for political gain. Let me be very clear here: I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and I endeavor every day to follow Him in all I do and in every position I advocate.” -Ron Paul

      Midwesthippie,

Ron Paul is the only Evangelical Christian in the race. Both Gingrich and Santorum are Catholic, and Romney is Mormon.

@Divided….my thoughts exactly! And all this time I thought she was conservative. When I first heard her applauding Romney I about fell out of my chair. To me this was a telltale sign. She may not be a liberal but to publish herself as a Conservative shows she proabably knows where the money is.
Liberal Talk radio doesn’t work. Their books don’t really sell either. Liberals don’t even have to think. They just have to remember the party mantra and learn to talk over people.

More and more I am seeing that people that I thought were conservative are showing their true colors. what is really bafflling is the candidates that have been presented by the Republican Party. There are times I don’t even want to vote. But I know I have to! Our freedom depends on it.

      _______
      Look

Vote for Ron Paul. Gingrich and Santorum ARE NOT ON THE Virgina ballot and THEY CANNOT WIN without VA.

The republican establishment suddenly changed Florida’s rule to a winner take all just for Romney so Gingrich, Paul and Santorum FL voters were screwed. However, the establshment Republcian ARE NOT GOING TO change the Virginia rules to get Gingrich and Santorum on their ballot. They and their supporters are SCREWED.

So vote Ron Paul and let it be down to Paul and Romney. Paul gets all the YOUNG voters and independents. Romney TURNS THEM OFF.

Man Coulter has really stuck her neck out, and now she’s hedging herself from the chopping block that will befall her when RMONEY loses. Fake conservative corporate owned establishment cannibal hacks shilling for fascist leftist immoral RINO candidates are responsible for killing the spirit of the grass root voter….and that includes Mr Beck and all the AM radio hosts covering their stealth support for RMONEY by pushing the Santorum decoy shell candidacy.

More and more I am thinking this whole election is a game. It is very possible that all the candidates left are all plants. Oh yes, they want the power to destroy America also; just at a slower pace.
When Newt started attacking Romney from the left it occurred to me that they don’t really care about reforming this Nation.

No, but we all need to get behind whoever wins the republican race. No ifs, ands, or buts. You want Obama to win again? We need to start taking our country back and seens how we don’t have many choices we need to make do with what we get. End of story. We also need to take the senate if by chance Obama was to win again.
