Another Actor Bashes Obama: ‘Hard to Believe in the Presidency Anymore’

Actor Steve Guttenberg Bashes President Obama: Hard to Believe in the Presidency Anymore

AP

Actor Steve Guttenberg is the latest Hollywood type to voice his disapproval of President Barack Obama, saying he‘s fed up with the first family’s vacationing and Obama’s mingling with the stars.

Guttenberg, perhaps best known for his role in the 1980s “Police Academy” franchise and “Three Men and a Baby,” made the comments during a recent interview with CreditCards.com.

While the discussion was largely finance-based, things turned political when Guttenberg was asked whether he thinks Washington can “rein in the misbehavior”:

It’s hard to believe in the presidency anymore. I voted for Obama, I love Obama, but I don’t want to see Obama on “The View,” I don’t want to see him playing Frisbee, I don‘t want to know that it’s $40,000 a plate at George Clooney’s house, and I adore George Clooney. Hey man, I‘ve got a friend of mine who’s got a $7 an hour job at Dunkin Donuts and he can’t get a $9 an hour job over at the country club because there are so many people in front of him. I believe that the president should be his desk all day. I don’t want to see him on vacation, I don‘t want to see him at Martha’s Vineyard, I don’t want to see Mrs. Obama in Spain. No, no, I do not want to see that because everybody’s struggling. These CEOs shouldn’t be taking all this money. No Rolls Royces. No private planes.

Guttenberg’s comments come one month after actor and comedian Jon Lovitz went on an expletive-laden diatribe against the president.

Okay Blaze, why did you post this story about another actor whose only beef with Obama is that he isn’t pushing their ideology down our throats fast enough? Let’s all get this clear. This guy is not a Libertarian or even a fiscal conservative. He is complaining because Obama isn‘t creating more gov’t employees and welfare cases faster than he currently is. This is not a “scathing” rebuke of Obama and his lack of talent, a moral compass, an American Citizen for a father, or a paper birth certificate. This guy would not have our backs in removing Obama from office any more than Oprah would. That is just fact.

So I’ll ask again. Why are you spinning the headlines to stories seem like they are something other than what they are? Is it ignorance on your part or do you really believe your audience is that dull?

Of course you can‘t believe in Obama’s presidency anymore, if you ever could. He spends his time on vacation, traveling around the world like an idiot bowing to other world leaders and while he’s here in this country he travels around bashing capitalism and people with money. He is the most divisive president in history.

But why doesn’t The Blaze talk about the presidential run and the problems within the GOP concerning voting counts and disenfranchisement/voter fraud/manipulation?

Why doesn’t The Blaze respond to issues Ben Swann raises on the local Fox 19 station in Cincinnati?

      @Teresa

I resist big corporation just as much as big government. There’s a reason big corporations lobby Washington so heavily, and Washington is more than willing to pay big corporations back two fold on the exchange.

Fact is, big corporation is the last step before government run anything. It is much easier for a central/federal government to regulate 5 large corporations than 50,000 small businesses of the same industry. And as long as those large corporations walk in line of the control and regulations set forth by our central government they get certain perks, like quicker patent, trademark, and building permits (just a few) that smaller business don’t get, hence raising their costs, hence keeping the big corporations on top with out competition.

Another perk of all of this is that when our big government does decide to end the facade and simply acknowledge that it already runs business, and completely takes them over, all they have to do is hand a few big government friendly CEOs a Czar title and the government infrastructure of just about every industry is already set and in place.

I have no issue with someone upset at the idea of BIG Corporations, just as long as they recognize it’s symbiotic relationship with BIG Government. Both are bad because both are corrupted and strengthened by each other. That’s NOT free market capitalism. It’s not even close.

REPUBLICANS – you want to beat obama? Then get your liberal friends and family to vote 3rd party (cuz you know they wont vote R). Research people like Gary Johnson and you can find ways to make them appealing (anti-war, anti-war on drugs, anti-deficit, gay marriage, etc).

I‘m sure in SOY’s mind we shouldn’t judge Clinton and his behavior as SOY felt richer and more prosperous. And hey… what Clinton does in OUR White House is of course none of our business as it’s behind closed doors. Who are WE to judge Clinton’s philandering in OUR White House.

I have no idea what I’m going to do, Soy. I see no real difference between Romney and Obama. I despise both of their policies. They both care little for liberty and our rights. Both are Keynesian’s that will allow the theft of the Fed to continue. Both, I believe, will get us involved in another war in the middle east. I expect the national debt will sky rocket with either in office. And I don’t think either will stand up to the international community to protect our sovereignty. The only real difference is one has 4 years to screw up the country, the other 8.

“I voted for Obama, I love Obama” – Steve Guttenberg

The question is….. what is it about Obama that you love?

We now know what you don’t like, but what do you like? Is it his Marxist ideology? Do you like his Communist friends? Do you like his regulatory czar – Cass Sunstein? Do you like his relationship with the President of Russia? Do you like him trying to bypass Congress (which is simply….the American people)? How about when he thwarts the will of the people by using activist judges to overturn the will of the people in elections? Do you like his choice of Eric Holder as the head of the Justice Department? Do you like his support of Occupy Wall Street and the violence they have perpetuated? Do you love that he appoints members of the Muslim Brotherhood to advise homeland security at the highest levels? Do you love that he supports the Arab spring? Do you love his big spending habits with taxpayer money? How about his wifes discussion of Food Deserts? Don’t keep us in suspense. Do tell………..

So many Dems feel this way, but are afraid to say it…this could be a snowball reaction if the Hollywood ‘elite’ would just get on board and say how they feel..there is power in numbers and they won’t feel like they are alone…..we all know you feel the same way…check your spine and Speak Up!!!
