Another QB Makes Incredible Trick-Shot Video…And He’s 12-Years-Old

The trick-shot videos are becoming all the rage. Ever since backup college QB Johnny Mac filmed himself opening doors with a football, it seems everyone with half an arm (or half a shot) feels compelled to add their own compilation. That’s probably what drove this guy, Johnny Sullivan, to record the video below. But there’s one major difference between Johnny Sullivan and Johnny Mac: Sullivan is 12-years-old.
After the trick-shot craze became, well, a craze, I didn’t think I would be posting any more videos. When I saw Sullivan’s this morning, I realized I was wrong. Not only does Sullivan do everything Mac does (for the most part), but he also adds the new element of bouncing footballs off walls. And did I mention he’s 12?

Posted on March 22, 2011 at 11:22amJohnny had a great time making this video because he got to spend time with his older brother home on Spring Break from College. He will be thrilled when he gets home from school to find out that it made thebaze.com… Thanks for your nice words

Posted on March 22, 2011 at 9:57amWhat with the lockout and all, the NFL is looking for some new players and this kid would fit in VERY nicely! And I bet he wouldn’t whine about the measly few million they would pay him like the current crop of whiny babies is!

Posted on March 22, 2011 at 9:03amThese trick compilation videos are way overrated. Obviously the video only shows the times he performed the trick correctly. What about the first 50+ trys where he failed? Anybody with average sport talent can produce a video like this. Nothing against the kid, I’m sure he will grow up to be an excellent football player as he shows some good quarterbacking skills at such an earlier age. But you people get impressed way too easily.

Posted on March 22, 2011 at 10:02amJust by the look of the day and Johnny and his brother always in the same clothes, I think it’s a pretty safe bet to think they filmed this in a single day. You really think that most 12 year old boys — even those with football talent — could pick up a football and do all of those shots in a single day, even with a few retakes?

Posted on March 22, 2011 at 6:59pmsorry to deflate your negativity of a 12 year old, Refoundhonor, but not ONE of the tricks took 50 plus shots. He is very accurate for a 12 year old. An average kid could not hit the sled dumbies in target in a row on the first try. Most of them only took one or two takes. He was just having fun over spring break, so give him a break…..

Oh… did I mention broken glass? yeah… there was broken glass in the playgrounds too!
1970s in NYC made for teaching kids what to pick up and what not to pick up… When to duck, when to jump, when to climb, what NOT to climb…well you get the picture.
Darwin got everyone who couldn’t figure out roof rules.

Posted on March 22, 2011 at 8:19amYoung buck…you’re going to soon have recruiters knocking on your door. Make sure you insist on (and get) a quality education in a useful field as part of the deal. They’ll kiss your butt now…but they’ll toss you out the door the moment you get injured…so plan ahead for your post-football days…cause they could come tomorrow or 20 years from now.
And…cool video…glad you’re having fun with it!

I’ve got two sitting on top of their outside jungle gym looking over their fence into the window of the house – their food bowl must be low. Great video! I bet this will garner attention with colleges around the country, even at his age. GENERAL BEASLEY, I doubt he has to worry about anyone beating him up – he‘s the quarterback and I’m sure, with this video, a celebrity.
