Anti-Capitalist Spaniards Took to the Streets…in Diapers

Anti Capitalist Spaniards Took to the Streets...in Diapers Spanish demonstrators took to the streets Tuesday protesting Spain’s abysmal economic conditions and 21 percent unemployment rate.  Some of the protesters even wore diapers.

One activist, who said the marches are about “ordinary people” mobilizing to change the “economic and political system,” blamed Spain’s financial problems on the unfair “capitalist system.”  Which begs the question: whose capitalist system? Socialist Spain’s?

Maybe… yes; maybe people do things that are deemed as stupid solely on the reason that other people are doing it. The next question; how can so many people be wrong… I mean stupid? Maybe its because they are all wearing diapers complaining about capitalism in a socialists country. Stupid. I blame Barry.

Capitalism created a global market, capitalism created a global labor pool, capitalism is systematically wiping out the American middle class with blinding speed. Companies have been pulling stakes and leaving town for years! And why are they doing that? Profit and Loss. No American can compete, it doesn’t matter how educated you are, it doesn’t matter how much experience you have, it doesn’t matter if you have a strong work ethic, no company is going to pay that person $15.00 dollars an hour, when they can pay someone else in another country $2.00 dollars a day, it’s all profit and loss. These companies are encouraged to do this and they get incentives and enormus tax breaks for doing this and you can thank your politians for that Republican and Democrat

Spare me please. Get off your rear end and start a company or get an education. Too many examples in America that make your statement laughable. People come here with nothing and make something off themselves all the time. If you are lazy and expect something for nothing that is your fault. Maybe it is Gov’t policy that pushes companies out of the country. See Boeing.

Spoken like a true capitalist. I am educated and do own my own business and just for own edification here’s some stats for you.
.• 83 percent of all U.S. stocks are in the hands of 1 percent of the people.
      • 61 percent of Americans “always or usually” live paycheck to paycheck, which was up from 49 percent in 2008 and 43 percent in 2007.
      • 66 percent of the income growth between 2001 and 2007 went to the top 1% of all Americans.
      • 36 percent of Americans say that they don’t contribute anything to retirement savings.
      • A staggering 43 percent of Americans have less than $10,000 saved up for retirement.
      • 24 percent of American workers say that they have postponed their planned retirement age in the past year.
      • Over 1.4 million Americans filed for personal bankruptcy in 2009, which represented a 32 percent increase over 2008.
      • Only the top 5 percent of U.S. households have earned enough additional income to match the rise in housing costs since 1975.
      • For the first time in U.S. history, banks own a greater share of residential housing net worth in the United States than all individual Americans put together.
      • In 1950, the ratio of the average executive‘s paycheck to the average worker’s paycheck was about 30 to 1. Since the year 2000, that ratio has exploded to between 300 to 500 to one.
      • As of 2007, the bottom 80 percent of American households held about 7% of the liquid financial assets.

      • The bottom 50 percent of income earners in the United States now collectively own less than 1 percent of the nation’s wealth.
      • Average Wall Street bonuses for 2009 were up 17 percent when compared with 2008.
      • In the United States, the average federal worker now earns 60% MORE than the average worker in the private sector.
      • The top 1 percent of U.S. households own nearly twice as much of America’s corporate wealth as they did just 15 years ago.
      • In America today, the average time needed to find a job has risen to a record 35.2 weeks.
      • More than 40 percent of Americans who actually are employed are now working in service jobs, which are often very low paying.
      • or the first time in U.S. history, more than 40 million Americans are on food stamps, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture projects that number will go up to 43 million Americans in 2011.
      • This is what American workers now must compete against: in China a garment worker makes approximately 86 cents an hour and in Cambodia a garment worker makes approximately 22 cents an hour.
      • Approximately 21 percent of all children in the United States are living below the poverty line in 2010 – the highest rate in 20 years.
      • Despite the financial crisis, the number of millionaires in the United States rose a whopping 16 percent to 7.8 million in 2009.
      • The top 10 percent of Americans now earn around 50 percent of our national income.

What I can’t believe is people still argue against raising taxes for the top 5%. The argument is always “the more they keep the more they will invest in the U.S”. Taxes for the rich are at the lowest point since the 1950′s and over 50,000 U.S companies have gone overseas in the last 20 years. If the funds actually “trickled down” the money would be propping up the middle class not sending it into oblivion. We would have a budget surplus and unemploymet would not be at 9% (which is misleading because so many people have given up looking and aren’t included in the number) The top one percent are there because they hoard money not because they share it. That money may prop up the stock market or raise real estate prices in some areas but it does nothing to help the 99% of us that will never be in that group. You’d think people in a democracy would vote in a way that helped the overwhelming majority not the rich few.

God, you’re a tool. Capitalism created the middle-class. And Americans can’t compete? Sorry, we’re adults, not children. So the top 1% own most of the wealth. So what? WHY does it have to “fairly distributed?” WHAT purpose does that serve. You damn sure didn‘t create Oprah Winfrey’s billions, so why the heck do you deserve a single cent of it?

Social does not work now, nor has it ever worked. It strips people of personal incentive. The Soviet Union collapsed of its own weight, as have other socialist states. The United States’ present problems can be traced back to their beginnings 100 years ago, when we first started down the misguided path of socialism. And the further we go down that path, the worse it is going to get, because Socialism is a huge shell game of lies and misdirection. Socialists think they are getting something for nothing. Scientists know you can’t create matter out of thin air, nor can you creat wealth that way either.

That’s the problem, they thread away creativity and innovation through education in order to gain supporters for socialism, and then after they attain their goal, have a nation of zombies that can’t earn the needed capital to support socialism.
My work lends me to have contact with people from allover the world, and time and time again, they will compliment my innovative and creative mindset when I do the simplest and commonsense things. They lost the ability to solve problems on their own.
