Remember when Media Matters got all revved up over News Corp.’s $1 million donation to the GOP? Media Matters wanted to buy ad time on Fox News. TV Newser tells us tonight’s the night:
Fox News said it would air the ad, provided some minor tweaks were made and MMFA ponied up the dough. Well, Media Matters has made the tweaks and come up with the cash, so the ad will air on “The O’Reilly Factor” tonight.

Posted on September 14, 2010 at 6:50pmI try to watch other networks, but, they just lie at me. Wasting my valuable time. Once a year I unblock their news channels to see if thy have ceased their pornographic, pie in the sky, moon bat, tirade against the folks. They fail, I put them back in “time out”.

Posted on September 14, 2010 at 11:27pmYes. Even in the early days of Obama I would switch around networks. Fox was stating the fact about Obama already hiring a guy who had been lobbying for Raytheon within days while CNN is still licking his boots for signing his proclamation about how he would not allow lobbyists into his administration. It would have been humorous had it not been so sad. CNN and MSNBC are labelling Tea Party people and openly mocking them. Sorry but the plain fact is that the silent majority is still the majority. Now they are no longer silent. They refuse to let fools turn their country into a third world crap heap like Cuba. “Power to the people” is going to take on a whole new meaning in November and 2012. It will ring with the truth to power of the words themselves. Reid is going to wish he smelled the American masses outside his office when he smells the tar heating up to feather him and send him packing. He will have plenty of time to tweet with Lady Gaga when he’s unemployed. That is of course if he isn‘t in jail for beating his wife because per Reid that’s just what unemployed men do.

Posted on September 14, 2010 at 6:47pmLet’s see, media matters is paying Fox to run a commercial to tell conservative viewers that Fox is pro-economic growth and that it donated $1,000,000 to the pro-business Republican Governor’s Association. That’s funny. It would kind of be like a conservative PAC buying a commercial on MSNBC to tell its viewers that MSNBC is an America-hating socialist mouthpiece for Obama. The thing is though, a conservative PAC would never do something that stupid, because it would be a waste of money. I guess Fox is laughing all the way to the bank with those ad revenues.

Posted on September 14, 2010 at 7:06pmAre you suggesting that Fox news gave mediamatters money to advertise on Fox? When the mediamatters money comes from George Soros deep pockets?
Isn’t Soros rich enough? How much money does one man need? Michael Moore owned (may still own) stock in Haliburton Oil. Do you think George Soros buys all his gold from Goldline? Or does he “spread the wealth”? As a Socialist, shouldn’t he give most of his money to the needy? Does George Soros care if he gets Universal Healthcare?

Posted on September 14, 2010 at 9:47pmDinglebags and his fellow socialist Kool-Aid drinkers just hate Fox News because: a) they accurately expose the totally dishonest spin that Democrats constantly spew, and Obama’s total disregard for the Constitution, and b) because they have better ratings 24/7 than all of the other “in the tank for Obama” news organizations combined.
If it weren’t for Fox News and talk radio, Obama and the Dems would have total control of “the message” (a-la Hugo Chavez). This is why the “progressives” (socialists) are trying to resurrect the Fairness Doctrine and pushing the so-called Net Neutrality Act. There is nothing fair or neutral about either. They are attempts to control the internet and the media in order to stifle any dissent, plain and simple.
They cannot stand fair competition. They want the unions to be able to freely back them, but not businesses to be able to freely back conservatives. They want unions to be able to intimidate and strong-arm non-union workers into voting for union representation. They want every unfair advantage they can get, because they simply cannot compete effectively on a level playing field.
Do your civic duty and vote against an arrogant elitist socialist Democrat this November, and take a few sane voters with you to the polls!

Posted on September 14, 2010 at 11:19pmWho cares? A business should have the right to back the candidates that they believe in. Mainstream media sold their souls and what integrity they had to get Obama elected. If you are following Media Matters as a source of truth you should just replay all your Bill Mahr episodes off your DVR until your head caves in. Especially the ones just after Obama got into office and he was too big of a coward to allow conservatives on. Didn’t Media Matters denounce all the right wingers as crazy for stating quite simply that Obamacare was going to raise the deficit? Now Obama is singing the same tune and he’s just stating the obvious. He just had to lie so “we could all see what’s in it”. I sit in awe and wonder amazed at the simplicity of thought that went into voting for Obama. He had no established record except as a back bencher in IL state senate and U.S. Senate. He never raised a vote on anything that wasn’t racially driven. He only voted on things that were unanimous. He worked on nothing of substance to the greater good. Look up his record like I did before the elections. it’s all out there. Just the liberal sheeple wouldn’t even take Biden up on his challenge to do their own research. They didn’t look any further than HuffPo and Bill Mahr to find their messiah. Now they are starting to come to terms with the fact that if you catch it in the right light even chicken poop sparkles a little bit.

Posted on September 15, 2010 at 1:20amMaybe it‘s just me just I don’t care what side it is, I don‘t think it’s right that businesses give money to “their party” favorite. I’m not affiliated with either of the major parties. I completely agree with GB, an R or D behind a name isn’t going to change anything. Fact of the matter is that “We the people” are being drown out by businesses. If not by money, then by special interests. There should be no special favors for businesses that contribute to campaigns or party affiliations. The only special interests that should be there is ours. The people’s special interest. I want to see ONE candidate that will stand up, not take a single dime from businesses or lobbyists and prove it, captivate the people by being real, honest, down to earth and only cares about the people. I think if we have that person you won’t need business or lobbyists to be elected. It would truly be a win for the people. So this, I‘m sorry but it’s not a win for anyone. I’m not saying Fox has special interest in donating this amount by any means. As we all know gov and biz don’t go well together. And this is the reversal of big gov.

Posted on September 16, 2010 at 10:51amIs it just me, or does D-bags seem to get more and more incoherent the closer we get to election day? D-bags, what exactly qualifies as “news” to you? CNN? MSNBC? Hey, you won’t get me trying to argue that Fox is “fair and balanced” because I don’t want them to be. As Limbaugh used to say, “I am the balance.” All of the other media outlets have become shills for big government types because they want to please their masters. Fox provides a counter, in my opinion, to the so-called mainstream media. The cable based networks all deliver some news during their news shows, and opinion the rest of the time. NBC and MSNBC, being wholly owned by GE, are simply doing the bidding of this administration because GE is Obama’s Haliburton. No-bid contracts for the smart grid, electronic medical records, and wind turbines, just to name a few, all in support of so-called green energy. All modeled after Spain’s green jobs template (which the Spaniards now admit has been an absolute disaster). The bottom-line here is that no matter who holds the power, someone is getting fat and someone’s getting f***ed. Obama’s cronies are benefitting at our expense.
