‘Anti-Jewish Extremism’: Group Takes Out Full-Page NY Times Ad Blasting Media Matters & CAP

Emergency Committee for Israel Buys NY Times Ad Against Media Matters & CAPThe Emergency Committee for Israel isn’t afraid to stand up for the Jewish homeland, while railing against progressive forces the organization sees as hostile toward Israel.

Last September, the group launched a video and newspaper campaign against President Barack Obama and his stance on Middle Eastern issues. Now, ECI is back with a new initiative to discourage Jewish groups from funding the Center for American Progress (CAP) and Media Matters.

Back in January, The Blaze highlighted some of the anti-Semitic claims being waged against CAP, a leftist think tank with close ties to billionaire George Soros and the Obama administration. Jewish groups, like ECI, have accused the leftist organization of utilizing anti-Israel language. Jewish Week adds:

CAP has taken steps in recent months to address some of the harsh rhetoric voiced by some of its staffers, and two of the three Jewish groups cited in the ad have since praised its efforts. The ad does not note the steps by CAP.

Media Matters has stood by a staffer who calls right-wing pro-Israel advocates “Israel firsters,” a term that analysts have shown has its origins in anti-Semitic writings.

On Monday, the ECI added fuel to the fire with a full-page ad slamming both CAP and Media Matters in the New York Times.

Emergency Committee for Israel Buys NY Times Ad Against Media Matters & CAP

“The Center for American Progress and Media Matters claim to be in the liberal mainstream. But is being anti-Israel a liberal value?,” text reads at the top of the ad. Below this, the ECI ad showcases disparaging comments about both groups from prominent sources that paint both CAP and Media Matters out as extreme, anti-Jewish groups.

At the end of the ad, the Jewish groups that fund both leftist organizations are listed, along with their phone numbers. The clear goal of the initiative is for those opposed to anti-Israel sentiment to get involved and to pressure the funders to stop allocating money to CAP and Media Matters.

“Call these foundations and ask them: Why are you funding bigotry and anti-Israel extremism?,” the ad concludes (view the full version of the ad here).

Because their LIBERAL AMERICANS, they don‘t consider themselves Israelite’s. They are geopolitically ignorant and in fact to vote liberal you basically have to fullfill a few prerequisetes, 1-oblivious to cause and effect(never look at long term effect, but rather the short term gain) 2-intolerant of opposing viewpoint 3-lacking in cognitively linked viewpoint, but rather join popular social consensus no matter the issue,(a strength in numbers sort of political philosophy as opposed to standing firm on values, morals, etc. for fear of ostricism) 4-spiritually bankrupt(may claim religion or to be religious, but only to the extent of appearances and feeling good, not based on traditional religion but rather weatherman religion or whatever’s modern and in) 5-purely selfish,(disguised under caring for minorities or causes, but these all tie somehow into a self-serving matter, usually politcally hip or relevant for the purpose of power or percieved power through alliances, pol. parties, and activist group, actions always tie into increasing ego and fueling narcissim.)

Leftists overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. Most Jewish-born leftists vote Democratic. The American left is allied with radical Islamists to destroy Israel, Conservatives, Orthodox Jews, and Catholics. It’s the same as when liberal Catholics vote to destroy their own Priests and Bishops. I’m not talking about ticket splitters, but those that not only vote straight-ticket Democrat and also vote for the most anti-Israel leftist in the primary elections. BTW, the statistics are completely wrong: there are plenty of people who are born Jewish, attend Christian churches for family or professional reasons, but are certainly more Jewish than people who are born Jewish but dispise Israel. There are almost 50 million American who are born Jewish. Most unfortuantely practice another religion, but are somehow more pro-Israel than many Synagogue and Temple members.

You bet your sweet bippy it is! I’m a Ron Paul supporter, and he’s excoriated by the Republicans because he is not pro-Israel, but there’s a big difference between that and being actually anti-Israel as the Soros crowd is. The truth is, Israel is just collateral damage in their campaign to destroy the Judeo-Christian heritage of America, and to replace it with a Marxist inspired “Brave New World”. The larger issue is, “Do you believe in God?”

What’s wierd is that I received a letter from the ADL, not sure why, but they wanted me to sign up with them against the conservative right wing Christian extremists that are trying to make Jewish kids pray in public schools.
I couldn’t believe it, what about going after the people who are burning cars and leaving Nazi symbols and anti-semetic rhetoric on buildings in Brooklyn? No, go after prayer in schools, oh the horror.
I still don’t get why I got this in the mail? Maybe because I signed up for Christians United for Israel?

Congratulations on a terrific, factual and meaningful ad! It’s a pleasure to see groups and/or individuals fighting back with the actual facts.

As for all the Jewish people who seem to love Mr. Obama, I’ll never understand. Conservatives have been standing fighting your cause for decades, yet watch in wonderment as the Jews continue to stand behind the very people who want to cut your Homeland in half, tell you whether or not you can defend yourselves and praise those who are bombing you everyday.

It isn’t Republican or Democrat…it’s standing up for someone who is being abused. But, then, many of you continue to march right back to abuser, only to complain when you get threatened again. Go figure.

I’m beginning to wonder if there are two Jewish communities…the righteous and the secular. Islam is the same way. They have the righteous and the murderers.

It is difficult to stand up and defend those who refuse to defend themsleves. I will pray for all of you to find out who you are and what you actually stand for…unlike George Soros.

Man, RP is not anti-semetic and everyone knows it. Seems to me, as I’m discovering, the biggest problem is there’s just so much stuff out there to absorb, and all the racist crap always seems to be the most readily available. I just spent the past day ALMOST under the influence of some racist BS propaganda about the Talmud. If I didn’t keep digging, I might have fallen for it. Misinformation is the problem, not RP. I mean that in the sense that if I pointed out a man dressed in an SS outfit holding an ‘elect Ron Paul’ sign, you’d ask if I’m absolutely certain that he’s really a genuine Ron Paul fan. Yet, every time that Romney is interviewed you’d demand that he was asked about Romney-Care (as he should be), but if Ron Paul is asked once about the newsletters that bore his name, you’d cry foul, and demand an apology… Can you see the ridiculous hypocrisy that is at play here?

Simple. They became secular, grew to dislike their religious background, and then came to hate those who adhered to it because it as long as there are adherents to the Jewish faith secular Jews can’t prove that Judaism is an outdated religion. Also, some gave up their faith to be more like everyone else but people still think of Jews as a religious group and they hate the fact that they are still seen as different after working so hard to be the same. That’s also why they attack Christianity: they see it as a force that says they aren’t all the same.

I see you rely on the actions of your ancestors to justify your sad little life. That’s funny!

My family came her (6 ways) on the Mayflower. Cushmans. But I do not — EVER — go around slinging that fact as if it gave ME justification … since it does not. Curious you take a different tact on that. Curious.

I see also you got a shiver up your leg because someone whom you disagree with died today. Odd. Almost makes you appear crude, mean, foul and sub-human. But I digress.

I see you also think killing babies is “a woman’s choice”. Why can’t I, a man, do so? I want to kill babies, dammit! It’s my right! You are a bigot and a racist for denying my my right!

And then, of course, you find Gov. Brewer ‘disrespectful’ because she chose to not break bread with the Communist-In-Chief; the man who has done all he can to destroy her State because she had the TEMERITY – the sheer GAUL – to not drop in worship and obedience. Why, the b**ch!!!!!!!!!!!!

You, pallie, are the very ‘fascist’ you say you will kill and dismember. YOU, pallie, are the ENEMY of our, not your, fair land. YOU, pallie, are not worth the electrons used to bring this message to your unseeing eyes, let alone the CO2 you spew into our – not your – atmosphere with ever exhale.

I’m Jewish and I ask that question all the time. The only pattern I’ve noticed though is that the more religious Orthodox and Modern Orthodox Jews tend to be more conservative while Reform, secular, and less observant Conservative Jews are predominantly more liberal. Secular Jews in particular seem borderline socialist at best. I feel like this is a general trend for all non-extremist religions: the more secular the more liberal.

God promised Abraham: “Get out of your country, from our family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”(Genesis 12:1-3)

God’s covenant promises to Abraham are still in effect today because God never takes back his word. For any who desire to obliterate or harm God’s chosen people, I would think long and hard about it after reading, “I will curse him who curses you.”
