Do you enjoy your Apple gadgets? Judging by how many iPhones, Macbooks (in all its forms), and iPads the tech giant sells, many people do. But guess what: things might be getting even better.
“Apple plans to completely overhaul its product lineups, including iPad, iMac, iPhone and MacBook Air, in 2012 and is expected to finalize order volumes for key parts and components for the next-generation iPad in December, according to sources in the upstream supply chain,” reports DigiTimes.
Apple has also asked makers in the supply chain to develop flat panel modules and LED light bars for two iPad prototypes, codenamed J1 and J2, the sources revealed.
Rumors claim that the J1 and J2 prototypes are forerunners to an iPad 3. However, according to PC Mag, the iPad 3 most likely “won’t be that different from the current iPad.” Sources say that the iPad 3 will, if anything, be an “intermediate upgrade” of the current one.
Nevertheless, Digitimes’ sources expect the iPad 3 to be in great demand. Inventory of key parts and components for the next-generation iPads will be sufficient enough for the production of two million units by year-end 2011, writes Business Insider.
Can they move two-million units of the new iPad? We may find out very soon.
However, as far as the other iconic Apple product are concerned, we’ll have to wait. The next-generation iPhone and iMac are unlikely to be revealed until the second half of 2012, the sources added.

Posted on November 4, 2011 at 4:12pmI have a new 2011 MacAir and this is the most amazing computer I’ve ever used (and I‘ve had MANY PC’s and 2 MacBook Pro’s! It is screaming fast and has awesome battery life. I can shut down and reboot and have all my apps reopen immediately after reboot and be back working where I left off in about 20-30 seconds! That’s mind blowing speed for any computer. Hard to imagine them improving much on that except increasing the storage space. 256GB is a bit restrictive – that would be my ONLY complaint about this machine.

Posted on November 7, 2011 at 11:24amI bought a MacBookPro 3 years ago this month. Not 1 problem. No AV software, no hardware problems. Just works.
I’ve worked with just about every platform out there. I’m convinced! Microsoft is designed to drive people to Apple. I don’t reboot. I don’t reload software. I don’t have to mess with network connections. Although, there are still some “compatibility” issues between platforms and specific apps, I have no complaints. I even scrapped my 2 year old desktop PC and bought a new Mac.
Wife and kid aren’t so computer savvy, so while I‘m overseas I don’t have to worry about also trying to “fix” the PC over the phone. Good bye MS!

Posted on November 3, 2011 at 6:30pmApple is an over rated product with a superior marketing team; or at least they did have a superior marketing team. I am afraid the engine that pulled that train is gone now.

Posted on November 3, 2011 at 5:56pm…and this is somehow different that what Apple has been doing for the past 10 years with these product lines? All you have to do is look up “iPad”, “iPhone”, “iMac” on wikipedia and see that Apple releases roughly 2 versions of these products each year since their inception. The releases are either two incremental releases or a generational/new release followed (or proceeded) by an incremental release in a given year. The real news is how Apple is cranking up their production, etc. to stay ahead of the Android/Google onslaught. ROCK ON APPLE!
