Can You Bring Your Pet Goat Into The Apple Store? YES!

It is no secret that Apple Computer (AAPL) has become wildly successful. Many assume this is due to Apple’s producing “must-have” products that inspire customer loyalty levels that are the envy of the digital universe. Still others contend that customer service has more to do with the company creating “Apple Allegiance” thanks to the welcoming and accepting attitude found at all Apple Stores around the country.
I believe it’s because Apple allows people to bring their pet goats into the stores.
Our friends at MyDamn Channel wondered if there were limits to the hospitality offered at the Apple Stores. Comedian Mark Malkoff wanted to see just how far he could go and still be welcomed at Apple stores. Dogs are permitted in the stores, but what about goats? Can Darth Vadar get his iPhone fixed? This short video shows Malkoff testing those theories at various NYC-area Apple stores, and also as a location for a romantic date with his wife and a place to have a pizza delivered.

Posted on July 29, 2011 at 1:50pmThe hidden problem with the Apple Stores allowing goats in their stores is that now they can be targeted by terrorists & blown up by Gihadists & Hamas & other Muslim suicide bombers – because as you well know, they all have pet goats – So, Apple is way too liberal & this is what will happen to the, ‘love everybody & they will love you back’ ,mentality of the progressives…..

Ok, but if the greeny enviro-wackos dictate legislation for the next decade, and, as Obozo states, “energy prices will necessarily skyrocket”, the new question will be…
Can You Charge Your iMac From The Rock Wall Of Your Eco-Friendly Cave? NO!

Let us speak civilly, especially to those who are polar opposites of our own views. If you want to be taken seriously and people to take note of us as actually being different than others, we actually have to be different. That means showing respect to everyone.

Posted on July 28, 2011 at 9:59pmI would not call them Great, and they are only Geographically American.
Apple is one of the most liberal and totalitarian business in the Tech Field, and that is a field that has Microsoft in it but they cant hold a Candle to the Anti-competitive control freaks that run Apple.

Posted on July 28, 2011 at 8:56amI’ve been a Mac/PC IT Pro for 17 years…Believe me when I say that comparable PC’s cost the same if not more. When you compare the overall costs, Anti-virus, anti-spam, registry tools, etc – the Mac’s come in MUCH cheaper. While I can’t stand the companies’s politics, I’m like Rush… Best product out there.

Posted on July 28, 2011 at 1:38pmWhile the hardware apple buys from others and resells with their name on it isn’t bad, it’s their software, 99% freebsd with a pretty skin is why people buy apple computers. When Jobs dies, and the board can point the company in a direction to make real profits not held down by hardware, osx / ios can really take off if it’s not to late by that point. Just as TIVO could have ruled the dvr market forever if they had been willing to license their software for $25 a box for ever instead of trying to bleed direct/dish/att/timewarner/comcast dry with $5 a month fees. TIVO software would be on ever dvr / dvd player made today, it’s interface was really intuitive, and most still call any generic dvr a tivo, it’s so engraved in our heads, my 8 year old says let’s tivo it, and we haven’t had a tivo brand anything since he learned to talk.
Apple could be this way in the desktop/cell phone/tablet/book reader market, if they would just license their os to everyone that wants it, Dell, ibm, hp, samsung, nokia, sony, etc. They could quadruple their market share in 6 months, and raise their earnings by a lot more than that.

The reason they don’t do this is simply because different hardware configurations will cause the stability of their operating system to change drastically, vastly changing the experience for the end users.
Windows had to make itself stable and useful on billions of possible hardware combinations. Mac OS pretty much requires a specific hard ware configuration, and if the OEM’s veer off this even slightly, there will be stability problems. In some cases Apple also had special “Apple” versions of hardware as well.
It’s a poor design on Apples part. They had more stability in the past because of this and were able to make fun of PC’s because Windows had to account for problems in billions of combinations and third party software drivers.
Since the more recent versions of Windows, Microsoft has finally got control of the hardware driver issues with their hardware quality labs.
Finally, on the security front, that’s just because OS X has low market share and is security through obscurity. When market share increases, it will become tempting for malware authors to start targeting OS X.
