Are SEIU Members Really Counting Ballots in Tight CA House Race?

For most of the country, the midterm elections ended last Tuesday when the final ballots were counted. However, the race in California’s 11th Congressional District remains a tight race between Democratic Rep. Jerry McNerney and Republican challenger David Harmer.
In a careful recount of the ballots, Harmer is currently trailing McNerney by just 2,000 votes, leaving no room for error. Bay Area tea party members have been serving as careful watchdogs over the process. One group, the Tri-Valley Patriots, caught an interesting snapshot which suggests some ballot counters may have a vested interest in keeping the Democrat in office:

Posted on November 10, 2010 at 8:57pmI would like to see a surprize recount of ballots already counted. And if the miscount is off by say 5%, have the counters arrested for voter fraud.

Posted on November 10, 2010 at 8:49pmAren’t these ballots checked by more than ONE person?? I remember here in Florida during the “hanging chad” snafu, they showed each ballot being looked at by one person, then handed to a second, and it seemed that each had to agree before they picked up the next ballot. How hard would it be to add a Tea Party member next to this SEIU worker and require them each to inspect each ballot as it is counted?

The American people cannot escape the evil hands of SEIU.Well not yet anyway, but I thinjk we have made great progress we just have to keep it up and be vigilant.

Posted on November 10, 2010 at 8:35pmSurely some other union member has to recount what this union member counted. It is the only way to be fair to Congressman McNerney. Do they get to interpret “voter intent” like in Alaska? Thanks watchdogs.

Posted on November 10, 2010 at 10:38pmThis photograph is telling. It shows someone with an SEIU t-shirt holding a ballot. Nothing else needs to be said. I have no doubt this photograph proves voter fraud, and that the election results will be declared void in a Court of Law.
Members of any union have a strong bias in favor of the workers in a company, and against the owners (well duh). Workers in the United States of America have not need of a say about their wages or working conditions. The benevolent, God loving employers will give them everything they need, for they are wise and hold worker welfare above their own profits. I’ll be blunt: it’s unAmerican and unconstitutional for any group of people to form and collectively give opinions and bargain. Simply said, that is undemocratic.

“The benevolent, God loving employers will give them everything they need, for they are wise and hold worker welfare above their own profits.”
Beyond receiving a paycheck for the work we do, and them not going out of their way to make our work harder, the employer owes us nothing. And if another employer treats their workers better, then that business will probably do better.

Groups don’t have rights – individuals do. Collective bargaining is unconstitutional.

I know you are a troll and all but….seriously now….
SEIU has been brought up on charges for voter fraud how many times now? It isn’t like this is all just guessing and theorizing. It’s happened before on a multitude of occasions.
And besides, the story doesn’t say voter fraud is happening, only that a union who supports the democrats who has committed voter fraud time and time again is doing the counting. It isn’t impartial. The left would be livid if say…Halliburton was doing a recount for G.W.Bush.

Posted on November 11, 2010 at 11:35amOkay Doctor’sLabor, I challenge you to quote the part of the US Constitution that precludes collective bargaining. These Tea Party proclamations that this or that is “Unconstitutional” are wearisome, because at bottom all those statements mean is that you disagree with something.
We live in a Democracy, I take it you‘re saying that if two people decide to walk into their bosses office and say they’ll both quit if they don’t get a raise, that’s Unconstitutional? Maybe in Iran, but not in the United States. By extension, are neighborhood associations Unconstitutional? Political parties?
I’m not taking a pro labor union stand. I think unions did a lot to better workplace conditions and wages years ago, but they bankrupted a lot of businesses and I think the time for unions has past. But the US has already been where you’d like to return, and it was ugly, especially before anti-trust laws (a socialist concept). Try reading The Grapes of Wrath of The Jungle, or just some history. You may think the good old days were great, but they were horrible for all but a few (hence OSHA and Fair Labor Standard Act).
