Are You Smarter Than a Wall Street Occupier?

In mid-October, New York Magazine conducted a survey of 50 random Occupy protesters in which they were asked a series of basic, politically-charged questions in order to gauge their level of understanding of economics, current affairs, elected leaders…and what, exactly, they are protesting.

MRCTV went down to Zuccotti Park and asked three of these questions to the protesters. The video below features their answers.

The questions asked were:

1. What is the Dodd-Frank Act?

2. Who is the Chairman of the Federal Reserve?

3. Who is Elizabeth Warren?

Watch below:

The Jesuit General exercises full and complete power over the Order. He meets with his provincials. When they decide to start a war or an agitation, he gets the information from the provincial of that country, how best to go about this, the demeanor of the people, and then he uses legitimate grievances to foam an agitation—like the 1964 Civil Rights Movement. That was ALL a Jesuit agitation, completely, because the end result was more consolidation of power in Washington with the 1964 Civil Rights Act that was written by [the longtime President of the University of Notre Dame, the Reverend] Theodore Hesburgh.

@ falsegods- are you sure that the civil rights movement wasn‘t part of the illuminatti society’s plot to take over control of all world governments while using their army of Freemasons to begin the unrest? Or maybe it was George w bush’s doing- that way he could plot more easily to blow up the WTC-
I’m sorry, but I think I’ve heard the blame Jesuit MISSIONARIES from a lot of the same people that I hear blame the Jew bankers from- no matter what grander conspiracies you think may be afoot- don’t forget the evil that is OWS

This entire story is just a way to demogogue the protests.

It’s akin to a Geico ad saying “Even a Caveman can do it.”

They’re just calling everyone who associates with the protest stupid, crazy, and all sorts of other labels to implant in the public minds that it’s ok to treat these people like crap because…well..they’re crap.

      I don’t subscribe.

Want to put down a dog? First claim it is rabid. Classic tactic of demogoguery.

I’ve even had bootlickers on this website spouting stupidity like “The police should corral them and put them down like rabid dogs.”

As soon as these Nazis think public opinion would allow them to dogwalk these people, they’ll do it, and the bootlickers will cheer for the heroes they worship. They worship their prison guards. Stockholm Syndrome.

V-Mace, I agree that the elite are creating the conditions for and fomenting anarchy so that they can over throw the current system. I think we have a little difference than, say, the conditions that pervaded Rome, the Soviet Union, Germany, Georgia. The majority of the the American people do not support the anarchists, and currently the conditions are not ripe. The elite misjudged the fabric of the American people by and large. The enterprising of the individual has helped pockets of prosperity to stay relatively strong, and the ones who don’t have a decent life (which we’ll always have among us), are the social drop-outs, and a very weak minority.

I’m reminded in this whole whacked out hippy and dirtbag movement taking place now by end times Bible Prophesy. The part where the enemy of God goes spastic because he knows his time is short. Obama will fail to collapse America because the core, and the majority of this Nation is founded on solid principles and character.

The enemy will fall because the one standing on the right side will not be subjected to the whims and will of man.

I’m confident, knowing exactly how this story ends.

The irony, of course, is that in their crusade to destroy the “ruling elite who use corporations to impose their will on everyone else, take what isn’t theirs, and pull all the strings”, they are ushering in a new group of people who will decide what gets redistibuted, how much and to whom. It will be a ruling elite who use government to impose their will on everyone else, take what isn’t theirs, and pull all the strings. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss- only this one won’t produce anything, so get used to poor and scarce food, even scarcer fuel and utilities, crappy housing, shortages, and so on. Wow that was a surprise..not. The OWS is not about thinking, or rationalizing, its about “feelings”. They “feel” that because their life is not like what they see portrayed on TV then something must be wrong. Since they’ve been taught since kindergarten that everyone is “special” then that wrongness can’t originate from them, so there must be another cause. The left indoctrinates these “lost” souls into communism and socialism through the school system. The school system is rife with commies and socialist left over from the 60′s. They failed in the 60′s to achieve the Age of Aquarius, so the hippies went into the school systems to nurture the “precious children” passing on their New Age dreck. Peace and Love, Man. Tune in, turn on, and drop out. All we are saying, is give peace a chance.
The problem with these people isn’t their feelings though. It’s that they have not been taught to think critically, rationally, or even logically. Intelligence is a tool we use to satisfy our inner child. We “like/want” certain things, and use our intelligence to find the best way to satisfy that like/want feeling. The OWS crowd literally cannot think of how to satisfy their inner child, so they are left with a childlike solution…throw a tantrum to get what they want. For all their lives this has worked. They fully expect it to work again. Sadly for them, it won’t.

It may be a far-out concept, but when John Smith wrote of the natives in Virginia he refered to them collectively as salvages which over time gave way to the term savages. Salvages were in his vernacular “lost souls”, ripe for conversion or “salvation”. I see parallels…we already know how Smith’s clash of cultures turned out. It saddens and scares me.

If you target stupid people you will get it right most of the time, the media has done this over and over and if one’s memory serves them right the Tea Party was made out to be stupid , racist and violent. I don’t doubt that many of the people there are air heads, but to write off the whole movement as being stupid well you are making a mistake. There is a esitmated 19 million of what is called the Millennium generation they are far more tech savy than the ruling baby boomer generation whom they blame for ruining their future and the country. Those of us that belong to the baby boomer generation can certainly remember what happened in the 1960‘s and 70’s what did the ruling greatist generation call us?? long haired hippies and degenerates , losers now what ? these kids have been taught that collectivisim and Socialism or more Government is the way to go and when they take over this country will either be ruled by a ruthless dictator or they will save it and bring it back to it’s glory. But if we are not careful on how they are treated they will get even as we will be to old to defend ourselves and be at their mercy. There are other generations ahead of them the silent generation and Gen x , one is silent and similar to boomers the other is very selfish and on the lazy side. But these kids are a mixed bag that is showing a violent and hateful streak in them that does not bold well for the countries survival.

There might be some intelligent members of the Millennium generation, but in none of the many MANY videos and interviews of the Occupy mobs have those few intelligent ones shown their faces. I’m hoping that the reason is because the intelligent few are not part of this lunacy. But keep in mind, 45% of this same generation would rather have Facebook access at work than a pay increase (and half of college-age kids would consider not taking a job if they there was a no Facebook policy). They might not all be dumb, but from observation, the smart ones are in a statistically small minority.

I have a disdain for the Millennial Generation “Y” people because they all seem to think they are entitled to whatever they want without earning it. They are bereft of our nations own history, and education in general. They are “tech-saavy” which means they can text on a smartphone. Big deal. I can actually read, write and spell. I don’t use OMG, LOL, BTW, etc as a substitute for English. I don’t need a Hewlett-Packard Scientific calculator to know that 2 plus 2 equals 4. I can actually work out a mathematical problem on paper, without a calculator, if needed.

I’m not stupid enough to think that communism is a shiny, new thing that we should all try out. I don’t sit around in my own filth at Zucotti Park and mindlessly chant along with whatever drivel some loser is droning out of a loudspeaker. I started with nothing, worked my way up in life and paid my dues. I did not expect executive privilege immediately after college. Most of the successful and wise people I know didn’t even go to college.

I don’t hate America because it did not give me a free ride. I know that its history is flawed and imperfect. I also know that our constitutional republic is the best form of government yet devised by humankind. It has spawed more success, ingenuity, freedom and prosperity than any other nation on Earth. In spite of the hatred of most of the modern world, it is still the envy of the planet. That’s why everyone else in the world is trying to GET IN

Must say I aint a tea party member, I am a Libertarian at heart. No one is perfect so the way i look at it is, i want people to be free. Nothing else except free. Anytime the govt makes a law to tell you how to live its wrong. I realize there is an limit to this, for example, i don‘t want hard drugs legalized and I don’t want people to posses WMD’s. But besides those thing we should be able to posses anything we want. Also abortion should be legal, under one line of thought, should the govt tell me how to live. Being a libertarian isn’t politics its a mind set.

      Mr. Molotov

      You are missing the point.
If you want to conduct your own poll, go out in the world and make a fortune like Glenn did.
Then create your own website like Glenn did.
Then, you can create your own poll. See how that works? It’s called capitalism.

But for now, you are being asked if you are smarter than an OWSER, and as your post clearly demonstrates, the answer is, “NO”

Great name! You know how you make those, right? First, fill the bottle with gasoline, then throw a lit match in, then you stuff the rag in the top.
