AZ Baffled by New Mysterious Light Explosion… Days Before 15-Year Anniversary of Another Mysterious Light Explosion

On March 13, 1997 strange, unidentifiable flying objects were seen illuminating the night sky over Phoenix, Ariz, and were viewable in Nevada and New Mexico. Since then, many who saw the lights over the reported stretch of about 300 miles hold various theories as to their cause and recall the anniversary.

Now, just days before the “Phoenix Lights” 15th anniversary, the local Fox affiliate caught a mysterious light event of its own during a live traffic report. Fox 10 says it is unclear what caused the light that appears to be from an explosion and asks its viewers to tip them to any ideas.

(Related: What is the mysterious, explosion-like light coming from a Russian power plant?)

Watch the station’s recall of the event:

The 1997 Phoenix Lights included two events: stationary lights, or orbs, in the Phoenix area sky and a triangular shaped object seen flying. Skeptics of the events have attributed the lights to natural or manmade events, such as military flares. For example, the U.S. military has said it was probably aircraft flying in formation and dropping flares.

A recent story in the Examiner states that UFO followers consider the events from 1997 one of the most widely documented evidence of alien life. It states that on that night, more than 3,500 military and commercial pilots reported seeing lights, in addition to the 10,000 spectators on the ground in Phoenix alone.

The Examiner reports that a documentary film recently aired about the Phoenix Lights recounting some the events of that night and providing varying theories. Here is some of the documentary’s response to skepticism according to the Examiner:

Not only did people try to capture the phenomena on film, but because it blacked out the sky, the pics didn’t turn out. In the Documentary the 911 Phoenix Police operator herself states that police helicopters were sent up to investigate. There is also a report to NUFOC (National UFO Reporting Center) that military jets were deployed to intercept the mile wide craft right over 7th ave and Indian School Road, and when they got close, the phenomena blinked out of sight.

Many of the eye witnesses to the Phoenix Lights were prominent citizens and very reliable people. There were pilots, doctors, politicians, police officers, firemen, local business owners, street sightings, adults, children, and thousands of other citizens who all witnessed this event. There is no doubt it was something quite real. It may have been an experimental aircraft, something from alien regions, but there were definitely unidentified flying objects that were seen, recorded, video taped, and by multiple observers in several states.

What do you think? What was the light behind the Fox 10 traffic reporter? What were the mysterious Phoenix Lights?

The power company denied it was a transformer problem but if one blew up at an abandoned or empth house, maybe there was nobody to report it. Too bad the film was in black and white. Transformer explosions can be easier to detect if color is added to the diagnosis. A flash of light without a report of concurrent sound sounds weird. I wonder if the weather bureau recorded an electrical spike or burst of energy. Some private weather organizations record such things. Where was Joe Biden anyhow?

In 1992, while doing desert training at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, CA, myself and a fellow soldier were sitting on top of our M113 personnel carrier pulling guard duty – it was in the middle of the night and the moon was full – we were sitting there, talking, and out of nowhere this huge, and I mean HUGE bright light came up from behind Tiefort Mountian and just slowly flew off. There was no noise or anything normally associated with the launch of anything that is propelled by conventional means. Granted, from where we were sitting, Tiefort Mountian was several miles away from us, so we may have been too far away. However, when I say the light was huge…it was also very bright – comparable to the illumination a space shuttle launch at night would look like.

I got on the radio to our TOC (Tactical Operations Center) and asked if they had seen it, or received reports, etc. They said they hadn’t, but would check into it. A few minutes later, our S-2 (Battalion Intel) guys came over the radio and said not to worry about it, that the word was the Air Force were conducting some sort of missle tests at Bicycle Lake.

Still don’t know for sure what it was. But given it’s proximity to Groom Lake & Area 51, well, you can speculate on your own.

Check out a phenomenon called “Ball Lightning”. It’s really really bright. It’s usually spherical. It just hangs there then vanishes suddenly. It’s a huge amount of energy loosely captured in a small volume. It will cause an explosion if it touches anything on the ground. It’s beautiful and frightening all at one time.

I’ve seen it several times even though it is a rare sight. Once I saw this very bright ball of light slowly sinking down toward a long distance high voltage line. As it got closer to the electrical line it started moving along the line as it fell. When it was about to touch the line, it sped up incredibly fast like it was on a zip line, and vanished over the horizon.

I believe the ball lightning theory. I was sitting in my backyard in San Antonio TX. in the 80′s at night. There may have been some inclement weather around but no rain or wind to speak of. Out of nowhere on the horizon a super bright ball appeared within a second and appeared to be coming right at me in a parallel line. It was so startling I ducked, and as fast as it appeared it was gone. This sucker was the size of a house but in the shape of a perfect sphere.

Guess another band of aliens sent to make sure Pelosi stays on the ground crashed to keep her from escaping.

      GLOCK31,
That is so wrong, please refer to the Daisy-Cutter with its technical name BLU-82. Besides, there is way too much artifical, non-biological material in her body for her to be taken out by just one of those. At the very least her Collagen lips will survive and that is where she is the most dangerous! Better use 2.

You don’t need a daisy cutter to take out Pelosi, just pour water on her.

Perhaps… Aliens are coming for a View… of the EU failure… inconjunction with the Liberal Revolution in America… as the people prepare to destroy themselves.
