The stabbing victim had reportedly let 24-year-old Aaron Homer suck his blood before when the vampire wannabe threatened to cut the man’s ex-girlfriend or her friend. Homer sucked his blood for two to three minutes that time, the Arizona Republic reports.

On Oct. 4, Homer was demanding to suck his blood a second time.

“I said no, and he flipped,” Robert Maley told police. “He said, ‘I’m doing it,’ and then boom . . . he stabbed me.” Maley then fled from Homer’s apartment. “They think they are vampires,” said Maley of Homer and his girlfriend, Amanda Williamson. The pair, he said, are also into paganism.

Homer later admitted to police he stabbed Maley because he was making fun of their “religion.”

Maricopa County Superior Court says Homer, of Chandler, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was sentenced Monday.

Williamson was booked on false reporting charges for making up stories about the stabbing; Homer was arrested in the stabbing and Maley was arrested on outstanding warrants for probation violations related to assault and narcotics possession.
