Arizona Lawmaker Beaten, Bound on Christmas

An Arizona state lawmaker is recovering after an unknown attacker beat and bound him at the local politician’s business.
Christmas Day, State Rep. Frank Pratt went to check on his swimming pool store when he stumbled across a person inside the building. That person “severely beat him, knocked him unconscious, and left him bound inside the building,” police said in a statement. The attacker then stole Pratt’s SUV.
According to CNN, Pratt was eventually found by his wife:
Janice Pratt said she initially went by the store after one hour, but left when she didn’t see his truck. When she came back three hours later, she spotted an unlocked gate and heard him calling out for help, she said.
Frank Pratt was treated by fire officials and flown to a Phoenix-area hospital where he was reported in stable condition with multiple bruises and at least one fracture, police said. There were no major broken bones, his wife said.
Pratt is a Republican who represents Arizona’s 23rd district. He was supposed to open the new legislative session on January 11, but that is now in question.

We need to demand much tougher prosecution of criminals like these. Maybe it is time to put laws on the book that if you come into our country and commit a violent crime it is an automatic death sentence that is put on the fast track and carried out swiftly. Hey Congress puts all of that job killing legislation on fast track so it is time to put something meaningful on the fast track for a change that we really could believe in.

One has left for a conservative area in WA, the other was strong arm robbed (bumped by a car) near campus but she’s sticking it out. Gov. Napolitano was as ineffective at border control then as she is now! Very sad for Rep. Pratt–May he rise to fight strong in his state!

Both were sent to the hospital. Tne woman suffered a very vicious attack….right io Royal Strret….in a byuy area…surrounded by the French Quarter district police station.. .and the State supreme court building. You would think that the entire incident would be on video.
