Arlen Specter on Sarah Palin & Her Skirt Length: She ‘Radiated Sensuality’

Arlen Specter may have switched parties after John McCain lost the 2008 election, but based on a passage in the former Senator’s new book, “Life Among Cannibals,” he may have had a bit of a soft spot for McCain’s running mate. In fact, one passage in the book reads more like a Harlequin romance novel than a political memoir. The Washington Post spotted this hot and heavy excerpt and threw it up on their “In the Loop” blog:
For example, in one steamy passage on page 156, he recalls riding on Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) campaign bus in 2008 with former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.
“She was a total charmer, very friendly,” Specter writes. “The few things she said were intelligent.” He doesn’t mention what they were, maybe because he was distracted.
“We were sitting virtually knee to knee in the cramped bus,” he writes. ”She radiated sensuality. Her skirt rode above her knees — not exactly short, but close.”
One wonders whether Specter would have been able to part with his muse so easily by switching parties had she been elected Vice President.

Here in Oklahoma Reg. is $3.59 and prem. is $3.84 a gal. Got e-mail this morning where the day is April 14th, so don’t buy any gas that day unless an emergency!

Sarah and Bristol take very good care of themselves, as any celebrity would, and they are better looking and in better shape than any HBO actresses would ever be. I believe they work hard on their physical appearance.
Any self respecting public figure knows – no matter how intelligent, you do not get to be President if you look like Newt Gingrich or Michael Moore.
And there is always room for improvement, if you want to stay popular.
For example, look at President and First Lady Bush who we just saw on C-SPAN. More than once I thought Laura Bush needs a makeover and “stiffie” hairdo like Marsha Blackburn, Michele Bachmann, and so many other leading conservative women have gone to this year. She was not included in the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute 2012 Great American Conservative Women calendar. She needs a little facial work and upper body surgery like Sarah and Bristol have, plus a personal trainer, and her poorly fit pants suits made her look a little like Mooshelle from the rear.
Meanwhile, at 65, George W. still looks like a classic ‘hottie.”
