Army ‘Birther’ Lt. Col. Released From Jail After Refusing to Obey Orders

In December, Army Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin (a doctor) pleaded guilty to disobeying orders to deploy to Afghanistan. Why did he do it? He doesn’t believe Obama is a natural-born citizen. In other words, he’s a birther. And now, after being dismissed from the Army and serving five months of a six-month sentence, he’s free.

With Lakin now free, and even after the release of the president’s birth certificate, many of his supporters are as adamant as ever that Obama still is not eligible to be president of the United States:

“A duel citizen can’t be president,” one woman told WJZ-TV, before another man interrupted, “Mommy and Daddy have to be born here.”

That sentiment was echoed by at least one other person who doubted the birth certificate’s authenticity: “It’s the biggest phony I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Lakin hasn’t said whether he believes the certificate is real or not. But one of his supporters beleives “he’s still dedicated to the cause and believes in the Constitution.”

What an asinine statement! People need to move on, if he wasn‘t born here or his parents were not doesn’t matter, they will never get it into the courts, won‘t happen if it hasn’t happened by now. Move on to more tangible issues we can stop him on.

      He didn’t act alone. With the 2012 elections coming up the real question now should be…. Can Odumba be eligible to seek re-election knowing full well by now he is not Constitutionally eligible for POTUS?

      The DNC duped the nation once in 2008. Will they succeed in 2012?

      I for one are letting everyone know the DNC will nominate anyone for POTUS…even if they are not Constitutionally eligible.

    When the truth does get admitted. Bill O, his little freinds, all the rest of the media, Pelosi for she certified the election results knowing he was a fraud, and all those power players, CFR, Buildahambers whatever, need to be hung for sedition and/or treason.     Why would Obama let an army doctor go to Levenworth and why did Obama spend so much money to keep his bc a secret only to be released a few days before a trial? A distraction? If so, the distraction sure carried a high price. I think there’s far more to it than anyone will ever know. For those who insist this is an issue only because of Obama’s race, they are ignorant of American history. Eligibility has been an issue not only for a past president, but for past candidates as well. It is a question as to whether or not we are allowing a dangerous precedent to be set that ignores Constitutional law. LTC Lakin is a hero, and I pray for his vindication.

    Seriously? This guy did not go to jail for disagreeing. He went to jail for refusing orders. For the sake of argument, let‘s just say Obama isn’t eligible to be president…. Should our military just sit down and refuse to do their duty? Should they cease to protect this country? He just didn’t want to go to Afghanistan and is using this as an excuse.

      Actually, he wouldn‘t have been sent back if he hadn’t volunteered for another tour before he unvolunteered so he could try to get a stunt trial of the President. Of course he still fully deserved the sentence he got because the army really needed a doctor to send to Afghanstan and this arrogant dimwit put his stupid political protest ahead of the needs of his brother soldiers.

    to each their own, if he believes obama is not a citizen,and was willing to do the time for disobeying an order,the more power to him, now if he whined and moaned about his doing time and that he was wrongfully convicted, then he deserved even more time, but he did what he thought was right,and for that i say good for him, not something i would have done,but he is not me,and i am not him.so more power to him,just a thought though,what if obama turns out later is not a citizen,then what does this soldier get his record cleared and can he sue for such a travesty. just asking,what if.

I‘m sick and tired of being told it’s nonsense, even by other Repubs. who probably say it bc they’re afraid of what people will say about them and hurt their efforts for votes. Anyone with common sense knows it’s a logical question – probably a ploy of the Dems to make people feel like fools and therefore to shut them up about it — like them using the “race card” to make people not criticize (justly) Obama. I hope this investigation doesn’t stop – more power to Trump or whoever. If I was in the military, I’d be having fits about this “Commander-in-Chief” who I believe is a clueless, treasonous, fraudulent person being told what to do and say by the insane radicals around him like Valerie Jarrett, etc. Please join me in praying that the whisteblowers succeed & are protected — that JUSTICE and TRUTH and the AMERICAN WAY (Constitutional, godly principles, etc.) will prevail very, very soon!!!!!

      What in the world are you talking about? Disagreeing? Not be allowed to present evidence? The Soldier in question was arrested and convicted of failing to follow the orders of those duly appointed over him, something 100% of all Soldiers are subject to under UCMJ. No amount of reasoning or defense on his part could have prevented his conviction. He was ordered to deploy. He disobeyed that order. And, as an O5, that is an incredibly bad exmaple for an officer to display to the Soldiers under his command.

      Neptune…the Colonels defense was that the potus must prove his citizenship. If you followed the trial, multiple discovery motions were filed against the administration and ALL of them were denied. The colonel was found guilty without being able to defend himself. The govt never produced any evidence to show that obama is a citizen and found the colonel guilty with no proof.

      He CANNOT be a natural-born U.S. citizen. International law dictates that the father’s nationality is passed to the son. So, as his mother did not meet age and residency requirements of Hawaii in effect at the time of his birth in order to pass on her US citizenship, he did not even get dual citizenship. Obama Hussein Obama, a/k/a Barry Soetoro, is either a Kenyan by birth or an Indonesian by adoption.

      I don’t care WHERE he was born. It does not matter where he was born. He’s an illegal alien occupying the White House.

Listen to when he tries to explain elementary things when he’s giving those propaganda-laiden fly-in’s – he’s basically a grown American male with absolutely no common sense. He’s kind of the anti-American male because he’s the type of guy that is not mechanical, not resourceful, etc. So, if he ever had to do something on his own, he would fail.       I don’t think this is a birth certificate debate.

      John Bingham (House of Representatives in the mid 1800′s) stated “Every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.”

      Obama does not fit the requirements under this definition.

      Of course, there is some question as to what the phrase meant at the time. And it’s certainly been interpreted more loosely since then, which is unfortunate. Reinterpreting the constitution is a way to change the contract between America’s government and her people without ever giving citizens a chance to vote on it. That’s not democratic.

      my opinion, for what it’s worth (probably not much)….What does it matter anymore?? I definitely think there’s something fishy with the whole deal, and am a number one fan of getting him out of the WH. BUT, let’s say somebody came forward with concrete proof that he was born elsewhere, or he is, in fact, not a natural born citizen…what’s going to change?? Is there any powers that be in this country that’s going to remove him from the POTUS??

      The biggest problem is you have to read the Constitutional requirements for being eligible to be President. The Birth Certificate is a smoke screen to keep you from the real truth. You need to read the Constitutional requirements for Citizenship for candidates for President to see the real issue, his fathers UK Citizenship as a Kenyan National married to a Naturalised US Citizen vs a Natural Born Citizen so and the fact that Hawaii is a “Special” case for citizenship.

      And that birth certificate that was made public is really null and void since his step father had “adopted” him in Indonesia and Hawaii would have to destroy the original and create a “New” birth certificate stating that the Adoptive Father as the Natural father…(NO BODY MENTIONS THAT FACT).

      I think this whole birth certificate deal makes about as much sense as trying to to validate whether or not an unlicensed driver has had any driving lessons after the car has been totaled.

      The damage created by Obama and the Reid / Pelosi congress over the past five years won’t magically revert back to normal even if irrefutable BC knowledge got the president impeached from office.

      Next time the country and the powers that be better vet the s.o.b. before the next election.

      President Obama is so obviously a traitor and a Marxist, one who has surrounded himself with communists, socialists and fascists, and has made no secret of his desire to destroy the economy even worse than Bush did, and collapse the country so our freedoms will be eliminated and the US will be brought under foreign control. Those facts are indisputable and everyone knows that to be true. And he’s not even a US citizen!

      Given all those bad things, anybody but anybody could beat him in the next election. Why even worry about it?

      Everything you listed, besides that last sentence, was something I said. Was that done to imply that I am a “birther”?

      Quote me and provide the link to where I said that Obama isn’t a US citizen.

      Wow, JZS, You are so WISE, I had never thought of that. You are absolutely correct !! Bravo Mate !!

      As for Obama, I wonder if maybe he hadn’t realized he had to release the birth certificate because of this col. ‘s appeal. Court Martials are typically sent straight to an appellate review if the suspect confirms. Wondering if this wouldn’t have forced the “commander in Chief” to produce his B.C…. Don’t know, just wondering …
