As Paul Ryan Explains Wisconsin’s Money Problem, Mika Just Wants to Know Where He’s Sleeping

Chairman of the House Budget Committee, Congressman Paul Ryan visited MSNBC’s Morning Joe today.  Aside from the expected discussion of the budget proposals being bounced around DC, Mr. Ryan managed to sum up the problem in Wisconsin in less than two minutes.

That rare moment of clarity was immediately washed away by Mika’s need to address the ridiculous story about Congressmen sleeping in their offices.

So, the liberal left like Lawrence O’Donnell and Mika have a cow that republican congressmen sleep on cots in their offices? WHY?
Are they afraid that they will make democrats look bad? Uh -huh!

As anyone who lives in Virginia or Maryland knows that it’s incredibly expensive to own a house near Washington, D.C.

If these people have a job for a known 2 years, then why buy a place?
I don‘t seem to remember a law or rule set by our founders that requires it’s members to have a private place outside the capital building.

When we have so many more important problems like oh, say Egypt, Iran, N.Korea, China, Russia, huge federal deficits, Afghanistan, Pakistan, high unemployment, Mexican warlards killing ICE agents, etc.

And they are worried about THIS?

Well, I see Mika‘s still sore from the being ripped a new one by Ferguson the other day regarding Obama’s foreign policy. If she’d care to remember, Jesse Jackson Jr. was profiled in the news – years ago – about him sleeping in his office and even running the vacuum – there even was a picture made available to the media, who extolled this as a virtue. And yet with the smoke and mirrors leadershipless budget The One has rolled out and with some of his ardent supporters slamming him on this, Mika’s focus is on some sleeping habits of a few freshman congressmen? She’s so desperate and pathetic.

The purpose of the income tax laws is to provide the tyrant with more control over the individual. The income tax law is so ambiguous that no one can be sure they aren’t violating it. Suppose Mr. Ryan had a tomato plant growing in his office. If Mr. Ryan harvested the tomatoes and failed to list the value of the tomatoes on his income tax, would that be a violation of the income tax laws? Suppose the tomatoes were grown in a garden at his own home harvesting tomatoes still be considered income? Would the value of the tomatoes be the cost of tomatoes in a retail store or the price Mr. Ryan could have received if he sold the tomatoes to the retail store? http://commonsense21c.com/

Gonna disagree with yo on this one cnsrvtvj. You have my respect for making a correct assumption, but if you actually listen, Mika‘s shift isn’t made of interrupting snippiness. In fact, by not commenting on Ryan‘s assessment before moving on she gives tacit agreement to what’s wrong in Madison.
And then, to my delight, O’Donnell does NOT attack and rightly points to the fact that he sleeps at his office as a non-story. He’s so rabidly angry and logic-less in most of his other clips that to see him speak humanly to his political opposition actually surprised me.
