‘Asked for Oral Sex’: Rev. Jackson Slapped With Gay Harassment Complaint

Tommy R. Bennett, a former employee of civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, has filed a discrimination and wrongful termination complaint against the reverend. Bennett, who is gay, was the National Director of Community Affairs at Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH Coalition. Jackson, 55, also serves on President Obama’s LGBT Leadership Council.
The complaint, as NBC Chicago reports, ”includes shocking allegations about Jackson’s behavior toward the openly gay staffer including an allegation that the civil rights leader propositioned him.”

According to NBC Chicago:
Bennett, 55, claims Jackson ridiculed him in front of other employees and required him to perform “humiliating tasks” like escorting women to Jackson’s various hotel rooms, cleaning up after alleged trysts and packing his clothing. It also includes an allegation that Jackson asked for oral sex, according to the claim. Jackson flatly denied each claim in his response.
The Windy City Times has more on the allegations:
Things reached an apex later in 2008, when Bennett says he “was summoned to Rev. Jackson’s hotel room” at the Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel. Bennett claims that he was eventually instructed to apply cream to Jackson, who “had a rash between his legs.” Bennett says that he refused, resulting in Jackson allegedly calling Bennett a “little motherfucker.”
Bennett then states that another time at the same hotel, Jackson summoned him at 1 a.m. to take notes. The complaint states, “When Mr. Bennett arrived, Rev. Jackson was dressed only in his briefs and a v-neck t-shirt.” Bennett alleges Jackson was sexually excited. Asked by Windy City Times how he came to this conclusion, Bennett said, “I could tell by his look. His whole demeanor had changed. His breathing pattern had changed.”
Bennett’s complaint requests compensation for punitive damages and emotional distress amounting to around $450,000. He also requests “back and front pay,” according to reports.
Jackson has denied the allegations.

Venial sins you will pay for if unrepented, but you can afford the payment. Mortal sins you can’t afford to pay the price. Not going to church because you’d rather watch the game is a venial sin.
Plus, even if all mortal sins are equally mortal, some are more dangerous because they are socially more tolerable and thus more seductive. It’s easy to know you need to repent when you have murdered or committed adultery. But when you have murdered in your heart through gossip or rejoicing at another‘s evil it is easier to think your soul isn’t in danger when it most certainly is.

How disheartening, Isles! You condemn others for heretical beliefs, but there is no greater heresy than to think YOU can pay the price for ANY of your sins. Now I get it. You aren’t saved! You believe some sins are so “trivial,” the sinner can afford to pay for them. You are in darkness, Isles. Adamic blood cannot wipe away sin. The good news is that there is no sin too mortal for the blood of the Lamb:

There is a lot of theological discourse in the Catholic Church that appeals to people like you. Start from scratch, like Nicodemus. Limit your reading only to the NT for a while, and allow the Spirit of God to burn away the chaff. We must all receive the Kingdom of God like a little child (Mark 10:15). I am not saying you should stop being a Catholic, but you need a nondenominational encounter with the One who died for ALL your sins.

I am sorry STEVENL1955, in a civil case as this is he is not nescessarly considered innocent until proven guilty. The standards are not the same for civil cases. I believe the gay man, I know Jackson’s reputation, he is a horrible man morally. I know that he is not a real Rev. I am not sure how he claims the title but I remember reading it is like something like a honorary title. MLK would never, I MEAN NEVER, put up with Jackson at all. Jackson and the other “civil right leaders” that asy they are carring on MLK message today that were around MLK, have preverted MLK message for their own gain. Jackson is a total poser and a very immoral man of the worst kind. I hope Jackson gets justice this time in the civil court. The gay community is very powerful in Chicago and will go after anyone who dares to insult them. Jackson has done this, and I believe the gay man.

He’s not too reverent about anything or anybody, except of course, himself. In spite of being a noted “ladies man” he has a history of accusations of his own homosexuality. He seems to have a problem staying in touch with reality and his sexuality. Whatever the truth is in this story, I’m sure “Racist Jackson” will find a way to blame it on the “whiteman”, he always does.
