Lived in that county for 6 yrs……The schools are a disaster around west palm. The last thing they should be doing is funneling money to special this and special that programs….Just teach the kids….They can barely meet the minimum standards for reading and math. That’s the only program they should be worrying about. As for Hastings, well he is just a product of the people that put him there….a disaster.

I spent 2 years in FL just north of.Haines City ( Lake Marion). My daughter has always been a straight A student until she went to middle school there. It was D’s there. We have had her in the most highly rated schools in the country. They had condom machines in the 5th grade restrooms.

Yep……When Governor Scott was elected on the platform that taxpayer dollars would no longer “Blindly” be handed out to every entity with a cause in an effort to reel in Floridas budget deficit… I guess the Libs didnt think he was serious. Its time for all of these free loading, lazy asses to finally get off of the tax payers tit and go fend for themselves and make real money in the real world. Thats exactly why Rick Scott was elected as were many other Governors who ran on the same platform. “Elections Have Consequences” a Muslim Sympathizer once said!

Let me see, a senator who initially was a federal judge that got impeached due to corruption charges and now who is shouting that the state of FL is backwards from its tushie to its face? So, I should believe the word of a man already convicted of corruption charges; and who managed to get himself into the office of Congress?

When I look at this video for the second and third time, the same name comes to mind ‘jackels’.

It seems only right that one so hip deep in corruption of his own would be advocating for the parasites like himself. Clearly the austerity efforts would cut into the dirty money that keeps him in office. Perhaps his district needs to investigate voter fraud since his history proves him to be so unworthy of voter support.

He demonstrates the case of ‘Self Righteouss Hypocrisy’ in which the corrupt declare their own ways to be the accepted, and therefore ‘right’, instead of understanding the wrongs they perpetuate.

FL is battling over the need to redraw US congressional districts as they will likely receive two new seats for 2012. The voters approved an ammendment to the state constitution to end gerrymandering- “meaning lawmakers would have to draw more regular, compact districts with no favor for incumbents or political parties, rather than odd-shaped districts that favor a party or some other group.”* If you take a look at Hastings 23rd district you’ll understand what gerrymandering is. Of course the ******** in the State Legislature are fighting it with a lawsuit. Hopefully the new ammendment will prevail because its clear Hastings won’t win in a fair election.

That this man slammed the governor of Florida for trying to straighten out the fiscal mess the progressives have gotten us into appears to me as a mark of approval for Gov, Rick Scott. I am not forgetting that Rep. Hastings was a big help to Madam Pelosi when jamming the Obama Care legislation up our a, OOPS, down our throats.

It is also interesting that Rep. Hastings is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, (read Communists), caucas along with Maxine Waters, Bernie Saunders, Sheila Jackson-Lee and sixty six other “honorable” legislators.
