Associate of Ground Zero Imam Is a 9/11 TrutherA founding member of an organization run by imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the lead protagonist for the proposed Cordoba mosque near Ground Zero, has made claims that the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 were an “inside job” and that Muslims have been falsely and improperly made into scapegoats.

According to a report from the New York Post, Faiz Khan has preached at the proposed Cordoba site on at least two separate occasions in the past and partnered with Rauf for years in the American Society for the Advancement of Muslims. The Post reported today that Khan also serves on the advisory board of Muslims for 9/11 Truth and co-founded the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth (MUJCA). On the MUJCA Web site, Khan wrote: “the inescapable fact [is] that 9/11 was an inside job.”

“The prime factor for the success of the criminal mission known as 9/11 did not come from the quarter known as ‘militant Islam,‘ although the phenomenon known as ’militant Islamic networks’ may have played a partial role, or even a less than partial role — perhaps the role of patsy and scapegoat,” Khan wrote.

When The Post asked Khan who he thought was responsible for 9/11, he initially declined comment, but later said in an e-mail: “I am certain of a few things . . . The towers and WTC 7 could not have collapsed without controlled demolition place from the ‘inside.’”

Ray Locker, managing director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism, said: “For someone who claims he wants the mosque project near Ground Zero to help build bridges and heal the wounds from 9/11, it‘s odd that one of Feisal Rauf’s fellow bridge builders is someone who thinks the attacks that killed more than 3,000 people were an ‘inside job’ by the US government.”

Steve Emerson’s Investigative Project on Terrorism also reports on “a trove of videos and writings” that outline Khan’s views, including a 2006 speech in which he claimed “the most logical explanation” for 9/11 is that the hijackers were “working for us” to further “a corporate-controlled scheme involving gigantic stock trades, billions of dollars in heroin sales and interest in Caspian Sea resources.”

The Post reports that Imam Rauf was not immediately available for comment.

    Yes REGUL…Question everything.
    True Conservatives always encourage that we question motives and intentions… Even our own. Glenn Beck has advised that you question him many times. I even question myself (I am human and emotions can cause errors in judgment). I have no doubt by his self aware manner that Glenn also takes the time to question himself.
    Bush had many faults as POTUS, but he didn’t fear being questioned. Reagan quite obviously questioned questioned his every action and thought.
    Conversely, Liberals often demonstrate that they can’t stand to be questioned. They often act as if we are beneath them that we should have the nerve to even ask. A bit further down that end of the spectrum is Obama. How dare we question his superior leadership. On the farthest end are islams (no caps), They throw a bloody fit and scream like spoiled children when they are not accepted as superior or allowed to do as they wish. They must be very, very afraid of alternative views, or maybe just the truth.
    Most Christians that I know enjoy questions and welcome them as an opportunity to share. Now that I think about it, I have had the same experience with those of Jewish faith.

      If Obama had any convictions in what he has said in the past he would condemn this. I think I remember when he was on the campaign trail he said the Jesus was his Lord and savior. If that is true then he has to condemn this or I am right the devil is a lair.

      There is some really scary and wacko stuff on that site. I found a link that claims that we (the U.S.) have killed over 1.7 million Iraqis with half of them being children. It also claims that our military has suffered losses of over 1 million soldiers but that the government is keeping that quiet. I think we would notice the loss of that many soldiers. And if you believe the Iraqi dead number, the country only had 19 million to begin with. If there are really that many dead, an entire generation of Iraqis is apparently gone and they can’t possibly survive. WOW!

    Imam Rauf’s press conferences and appearences on television chanels are simply a tactic to buy more time. He and his buddy Faiz Khan are on the same page as far as terrorism is concerned. Rauf warned that if the proposed mosque is moved, there will be retaliation from the Muslim world. Infact, he should have taken the opportunity to talk to various Muslim leaders when he visited them at our tax dollars. If there are any moderate Muslims in America, why are they hiding and what are they afraid of. Tjhey should have come out openly and stood with other Americans shoulder to shoulder to denounce the FUNDAMENTALIST TERRORISTS who want to force their way on us.

      Im not saying that there aren’t peaceful muslims, but if there are they are too scared to say anything because they have already been enslaved or live under threat of death for being worse than an infedel if they appose the military sect. They are forced to pay the muslim tax to which a portion of that goes to those same militant freaks,,, it’s called ZAKAT its one of the 5 pillars of islam. Even BHO was pleading on behalf of the muslims because it was hard for them to follow the muslim requirement ZAKAT under the current laws because they would be concidered to be funding the extremist and could be accused as such.

      I have been researching this alot and have learned why this all doesnt make sense to people like me. The problem is the more I read the more i find the truth under the lies. I find more conspiracy than i ever imagined. the more i read the more this religion/lifestyle appears completely diametrically apposed from what I have been taught all my life as a christian. its like they have an opposite law for every one of the ten commandments… oh, except for the law that says love thy neighbor as you love thyself… that is until he refuses to convert, then you can kill him. Notice that Rauf will not denounce Hamas. Why? If pushed I believe he would have similar words as the British mulsim leader.

    All right All Right, finally after all of these years i’ll come clean….Faiz Khan is right, but it wasn’t a mass conspiracy of Wall street or any other large group. It was me and me alone, I have to confess…I was able to do it and mastermind it with several seceret technologies that allowed me to do it and pull off the farse to implicate Alkiada and extreamist muslims. I used my Jack Armstrong pedometer to mmesure the site before the apparent attack.Then I used both my Little Orphaniee and Dick Tracey decoder rings to send and forward messages to myself. Finally I was able to use my Chandu the Magician smoke and mirror trick to make it appear the the towers were attacked by airplanes and fell. Actually they are still there,once you find the mirrors and remove them the towers will reapear. As for the 3000+ victums and airplanes, they are living comfortably off of the insurance money…..

    Don’t you think my explination makes more sense???
    Just don’t ask Faiz Khan to bend over, because monkeys will fly out of his butt.
    The more I hear these scholars speake in the name of Islam,the less I can accept it as a real religion. This is sad, because I wish to be tolerant and have respect for anothers faith.But I have not heard aything beautifuland or anyone in opposition as a majority of this faith to discredit these claims.

    2000 years ago Christians went to the lions and other terrible torture and death for their faith. Sorry to say, where are you in Islam to denouce these creeps,…??? America is waiting,to here from you…Now!

    When Bill O’Reilly broke this story tonight he said Obama is probably freaking out. Why would he freak out. Obama had a truther on his staff–Van Jones. Obama continued to sit in the pews of Wright’s church after Wright said America had it coming (chickens coming home to roost). If Obama is upset by this information it’s another phony reaction to fool people. Throwing Wright under the bus comes to mind.
    What bothers me is Rauf calling those who oppose the mosque “radicals”. But this Kahn guy is allowed to preach that 9/11 was an inside job at the GZ mosque–but he’s not a radical ?
    Taxpayers are funding this Rauf guy….Unbelievable.

      on 9/11 they didnt cover a single event commemorating the disaster. they only showed a bunch of american criminals like a series on serial merderers, criminals with life sentances, and other multiple merderers and their life sentences. not a single story about 9/11 or the events memorializing the day. Like it didn’t even matter. Although i didn’t watch the shows but I was checking during commercials to see what they were showing. What a dispicable bunch, they should be shut down, in my opinion.

      Of course you hear crickets! This is a pretty poor excuse for breaking news. So there is a “truther” who was once associated (to what extent is never made clear) with an organization that Imam Rauf heads, and who claims to have ended that association seven years ago. According to the MUJCA, that organization’s website is about five years old. Odds are, these statements were made well after Khan left Rauf’s organization.

      I am sorry, but a speaker bio from a conference in Copenhagen from 2006 is not conclusive evidence that Khan continued to associate with the ASMA in any meaningful way. Anyone who has in the least been involved in any kind of conference knows that speaker’s bios can be wrong and/or outdated.

      So why is this not being reported on? Because it is a pathetic excuse for news.

    2. But when Pastor Jones wanted to burn the Qu’ran, the immediate stance from the left that if we let him burn the books that “the Muslims really WOULD come get us. ”

      Im not finding it funny at all. This is another good reason to support the Mosque at GZ.
      I was tip toeing thru the Utube videos for the candidates and on the suggestion collum connected to every republican and TP candidate video, are a series of utube videos of supposed TEA Partiers, conservatives and white america that really make you go Yikes!
