Astounding Viral Video Depicts an Unborn Baby’s Full Development

Alexander Tsiaras, an image-maker and the author of the book “From Conception to Birth: A Life Unfolds,” gave a recently-published TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) talk, during which he unveiled a spectacular video about fetal development.

The video, which graphically shows the process of human progression, begins by showing an egg being fertilized and ends by illustrating a baby’s actual birth. Throughout the clip, viewers see the full fetal development, with explanations about what, exactly, is happening at each phase. But the imagery is spellbinding.

Watch the astounding video, below. The actual sequence of a fetus’ development begins at 2:05, with Tsiaras explaining the development process both before and after the clip:

Pro-life advocates are giving the video rave reviews. While the nation continues to be divided on the abortion issue, some believe that the growth and expansion of technology is beginning to impact how individuals view the issue. The ability to see graphic details about the development of a fetus, they believe, makes it more difficult to accept abortion without sincere questions about life’s beginnings.

In addressing what he’s encountered in his research, Tsiaras says:

“The magic of the mechanisms inside each genetic structure saying exactly where that nerve cell should go– the complexity of these, the mathematical models of how these things are indeed done are beyond human comprehension. Even though I’m a mathematician, I look at this with a marvel of how did these instruction sets not make mistakes as they build what is us. It’s a mystery, its magic, its divinity.”

      I remember back in the 1960′s Life magazine had a series of pictures showing a baby developing .. quite astonishing at that time .. my mother was expecting my brother and bought the magazine. We have seen babies in the womb for a long time .. long enough to know that they are babies … not just a fetus waiting to be aborted.

There is some higher order in the universe, but it is beyond our ability to comprehend or understand it and certainly to communicate it. The notion that one set of writings by one of the many developed tribes 1,000 of years ago has any more insight than any of the others is to project that limited comprehension and understand, not reveal or worship some enlightenment. Every time Pro-Life groups brought cases before the US Supreme Court the Court would remove any existing restriction on abortion.       For the hard-core pro-abortionists, this will mean little or nothing. Why? Their biggest fear is the fear of being WRONG on this issue….why? If someone or some ignorant group is proven wrong, they in turn would hold responsibility – be held responsible – for the holocaust that our country has allowed since 1973.

      Roe v Wade is perpetually frozen to the best available medical knowledge and facts of….1973!! It’s crumbling under the weight of its own ignorance. Factual information such as this will sink that rotten piece of judicial “wisdom” even faster. Not since Dred Scott has a Supreme Court ruling reeked of politics and ignorance.

      By the way, the term “fetus” has been and continues to be used to dehumanize the dead victim of abortion. My 4 year old saw the picture at the top of the story and said…..”baby!”

      Yeah, I’m with CATB on this. I remember when I was in grade school (1960s) there was this exhibit in the basement of Morrill Hall in Lincoln, NE (the U of N natural history museum (which is well worth the visit, BTW). The exhibit is no longer there, but it was about the human body, and they had these micro-thin cross-sections on the stages of the the developing human embryo encased in lucite (derived from scientifically-donated miscarriage remains). I was very big into science back then (my family had the full LIFE-Science library, which came in quarterly installments), I was always transfixed by those specimens. The incredible intricacy, and their fragility, and that with just from what I could see with the naked eye. The absolute miracle of pre-natal development in the human being has been with it for many, many years. There is nothing new here. And it just SLAYS me when the political Left tries to debate when human life “begins” — WHAT?!? It begins at the beginning: it begins with a live egg receiving the DNA of ONE lucky, and also live, sperm cell. A FULL human life begins when the egg is fertilized. And the more we learn about the details, as this Alexander Tsiaras visualization so beautifully contributes to, the more fantastic it all seems to me, and, I presume, to all other intellectually-appreciate human beings. ALL life is a miracle and a glory. And human life IS the face of God. I believe that to my very core. I cannot prove it. I just believe.

      @voiceofreason305 Do you know what free choice is? It’s a concept that requires a soul. Humans are special, not because we are intelligent, but because we truly have free choice and not the illusion of it. We are far more special than I think we can even realize.

      I want someone to tell me what the differences between a newborn and an adult are. Then tell me the differences between fetus and a newborn. A fetus is not part of the mother’s body; it’s inside of her body. It‘s not growing out of it’s mothers body, it’s growing in it. It gains it’s nutrients from the mothers body, but it’s not part of it. The moment you have the dna mix a new person is born. The mother does not retain the dna from the father; it’s not part of her. The fact that there is debate on abortion (lack of scientific proof one way or another) should make it a no go. You don’t do something because “it can’t be proven that this might be killing someone”. You wait for facts. I don’t see how anyone could ever potentially risk a life like that.

      Perry defunded Planned Parenthood which resulted in more than a dozen clinics closing already, implemented parental notification laws, a required sonogram before an abortion, required inform consent which explains to women how their babies already have a heartbeat, etc., outlawed third trimester abortions in Texas, created a version of personhood which treats the murder of a pregnant woman as the murder of two people, promoted adoption more than any governor in American history, and championed a “Choose Life” license plate for Texas.

      That’s because God values freewill. He knew that man would choose to seek his own gain over God’s. He is God after all, of course He knew. The thing is though, God loves us, and what He wanted was a relationship with us, and a loving relationship can only come if it is freely chosen. Love isn’t about forcing something on someone else, it’s about limiting oneself and serving others (which is exactly what Jesus came to exemplify to us). But God did know that man would turn away from Him, He knew that human beings would fail to keep His word time and time again, He knew that even when He did offer us a way, there would even then, still be those who refused to accept it. The thing is, God knew all this would happen but He did it anyway, because He knew it would be worth it in the end when His children realized they needed Him and willingly came to enter into a relationship with Him. So you see, God isn‘t threatening us with hell if we don’t follow Him. Rejecting Him and His plan for our lives, and being unable to have a relationship with Him, that is the real punishment. Because God knows that if we try to do things ourselves, if we turn away from Him and sin, we’re hurting ourselves and ultimately making our own destruction. God offers a way out of this and only through Christ can we reach it. So yes, God did know there would be suffering along the way, how could He not? But He knew that love must be freely chosen and that it would be worth it in the end.

      We’ve seen a miracle. I watched not being able to hold back the tears for all the babies that have been thrown away. Mothers thinking abortion is just getting rid of something unwanted should see how a baby is recognizable with in weeks of conception.       I have changed my stance.
      I previously thought a fetus becomes a Human w/ rights at birth. I thought since the fetus was a part of the mother during the pregnancy, that no one could tell her what to do with her body.
      I was of the mindset that “your mom brought you in, she can take you out”.
      I now believe a fetus is a Human w/ rights, at conception.

      It is a proven theory? First off, if a theory is proven, then it is now no longer a theory, it becomes a “law” (It used to be the Theory of Gravity, it is not the Law of Gravity . The Theory of Relativity is still unproven and thus is a theory not a law etc.). Second, please explain to me, or link to me a scientific article that explains how single cell organisms evolved into multicell organism thats evolved into complex organisms called the Human. How cells splitting became highly specialized organs that each complete a different task. That somehow every human being ended up with these organs? You won’t be able to find this article, because it does not exist. Because scientists think it happened, but they cannot manage to explain how exactly it happened.

      I would not call Evolution a lie per se. I myself do believe in Evolution, even creation by Evolution. But I do not think it was an accident, nor was it caused by The Big Bang. Nor do I believe that God is some mystical magical being that wills something done and it happens. I firmly believe that both Religion and Science can come together in harmony once they realize that they are not mutually exclusive ideas. I would put out there that God understands all the laws of Nature and everything. I believe that God used these laws of nature in order to move into actions events that lead to the creation of the Human race. Indeed, it was no accident that we were created the way we were, but was instead divine intervention on Gods part, creating us by using his vast knowledge of life and its origins. This may be a controversial idea, but I do not believe that God is a great unknown, and that we are not meant to understand him. God obviously created nature in such a way that scientists can begin to understand it. Why would he do that if it was meant to discredit him? Science does not discredit God. If anything, Science only stands to show us how far we have come, and how far we still have to go. And it is a testament to God, and his complex creations.

      Lord or God is not a name but a title. Not speaking or writting the name of God comes from superstition. The fear of breaking God’s command against using his name in vain or in a worthless way. If they don‘t use it they can’t break it. They translate YHWY into hashem (the name) instead of saying it.
      Exodus 20: 7 “You must not take up the name of Jehovah your God in a worthless way, for Jehovah will not leave the one unpunished who takes up his name in a worthless way.

      John 17: 26 And I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in union with them.

      Matthew 6: 9 “Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified”
      Luke 11: 2 “Father, let your name be sanctified”

      The divine name was meant to be used just not in a worthless way.

      Why do any of you care if a Jewish person prefers not to spell out the name of God or Lord in a blog? Why is this the sticking point to the comment and not the beautiful verse Ari Ben cited on our Creator’s love for the life He creates?
      BTW-I am of Jewish background, but am a Christian and would rather see the Lord’s name treated more cautiously than thrown around like a swear word whenever someone stubs their toe!

    Amazing and compelling video. From the moment the cells divide, it can be nothing other than a human being, a child. The progressives say that science has proven man made climate change, which really has not been proven. However, they ignore the factual science of when is a baby a baby. The truth has no agenda!

    Hey, how ’bout those Mayans? They can predict the end of the world, but they couldn’t predict the end of their own civilization. Which makes me ask: if they did know their own civilization would end, then why bother predicting the end of the world? They can’t predict the smaller task of the end of their own civilization, and yet they can predict the end of the larger in comparison, world.

      Surely that must be so. Here’s another way of looking at the disappearance of the Mayan Civilization: in that they were obsessed with “The end” and it became a self-fulfilled Prophecy, and their civilization ended. That being said, there is strong evidence through-out the Bible, and history in general to suggest a civilization obsessed with the end, will meet their end. I should mention that the more unhappy a civilization becomes, the more likely they are to obsess over the end. Therefore people shouldn’t hope for the end of all, but they should work towards ending the things which make them miserable in spirit.

      Once again, MOST enslaved progressives/liberals will NOT even read this article, let along watch the video because they LOVE their enslavement to THE LIE, which is IN THEIR COMFORT ZONE. If they have to explain something to make their point, they would rather rant and rave then to prove their lie. However, if they CAN prove their cause, most of the time, they cannot articulate the truth for that cause. So, they will not step out of their comfort zone. Look at OWS. If you talk to one of those kids, they KNOW they want change, but they cannot tell you why. They KNOW they WANT what you have, so they will rant and rave about it, but not tell you why or how it should come about. These are the very people that Satan loves. Satan is the author of confusion (chaos, lies, deceit, evil, and SIN) –> 1 Corinthians 14:33. Look around. Look at OWS. CONFUSION, CHAOS, EVIL, SIN, ETC. Who is behind it? (think spiritual)

      If RIGHTEOUS people do NOT stand up against this evil and sin, then you deserve what is coming and what you get. EVERY single person who loves Jesus Christ, NEEDS TO STAND UP AGAINST EVIL, whether it be spiritual or physical.

      GOD cannot bless the world. He only blesses those who serve Him. You need to get out of your comfort zone and stand up for righteousness. If you think God should bless the world, then you are asking Him to bless the evil people, too. Personally, I would never think to do that. I pray that God’s spirit moves upon those who are against God, but God only blesses those who serve Him. And those who SEEM to have it all and do not serve God – it is temporary. IT WILL BE TAKEN AWAY eventually.

      This evil way of thinking has left many potentially wonderful people slaughtered before they had a chance.
      It has also left a trail of destruction in parents that are now overcome with remorse and shame, and who wish they could do things differently, and who mourn their children daily without the support they would receive if the baby had died at birth, or in a miscarriage.
      This idea that a baby is an inconvenience, a “punishment”, has ruined countless lives, murdered innocents, and ripped the fabric of our society and morality. It is a massive, sly, and incredibly ugly evil.
      Seeing ultrasounds, and films like “From Conception to Birth” may help fight this mindset..
      Let us pray to God it does.
