‘Audacity of Dopes’: Satirical Song Mocks Gaza-Bound Freedom Flotilla

While tensions surrounding the Gaza-bound “Freedom Flotilla” have run high, one satirical group might have brought some perspective to the situation. Latma, a satirical media criticism website run by Jerusalem Post Senior Contributing Editor Caroline Glick, has just released a video by “The Audacity of Dopes.” The song, titled “Guns, Guns, Guns,” is a parody of the Beach Boys’ famous hit “Fun, Fun, Fun.”
In the video, Latma portrays Hamas terrorists on a Gaza beach awaiting the flotilla’s arrival, the activists aboard the ship, a UN envoy, and various mainstream media journalists. The message, according to the Jerusalem Post, is that there is a consensus among these groups that pro-Palestinian efforts should be supported unquestioningly, even though those efforts may only serve to arm Hamas with weapons it will use against Israel.

While this may fall short of the mark, the intent is great.
The Gaza Flotilla is a freak-show of fascists and dopes desguised as “humanitarians” with obvious ties to Hamas and few ties to reality.
While I‘ll be first to advocate a state for the Palestinians and to deride the crimes of Israel the simple fact remains that Israel shouldn’t be cornered and forced to submit to such tyranny.
But this is a very complicated issue…

The area called Trans Jordan was supposed to be the Palestinian homeland, but Saudi Arabia and Jordan refuse to give the Palestinians the land they were awarded in 1947. Its called the spoils of war. When you lose the war you lose territory. Israel kicked the Arabs azzes in 67 hence why they shouldn’t have to give back the land. How about Jordan and Syria giving back the land they stole from the Palestinians, oh that is out of the question right. So STFU no body cares about the Palestinians even the Arabs don’t want them.
