    Never thought I would agree with Bill Maher. Tavis Smiley is just another useful idiot as were the other guests on this half ass talk show. Funny, once islam dominates the west, the first to go the way of the knife will be the useful idiots. I will gleefully stand by and do nothing to defend them.

    I disagree with almost everything Bill Maher says, but he is right about one thing; there will never be real democracy in Arab countries as long as they continue to treat half of their population as less than full citizens.

      Agreed, most successful civilizations include women as a solid part of their society. If those muslim countries didnt have oil and the westsw help with infrastructure in its production they would be nothing. I truly cant think of any brilliant invention or process inovation coming from the muslim world in quite some time.

    Please don’t tell me these guests are defending the way Muslim men treat women. Please! I had the priviledge of going to a Superbowl party hosted by Muslims. The wife, my stepdaughter and I were the only females there. Not one of these 8 men met my eyes, greeted me as they arrived, or spoke to me as they were helping themselves from the buffet I was sitting right next to. Actually not one spoke to me once. Not once. This was a party. To them, they had successfully erased me from existence. Even the Doctor we knew who had invited us, who I had worked with, completely ignored me when these men were arrived. To them I wasn’t even there. It may be their religion that prohibits them from associating with women, but they live in a country where that is just not possible or acceptable. Well to some, maybe these guests for example. I would have loved to see this woman be ignored and shut down like I was. Bet she would change her tune. And as for comparing American sexism to that of Muslim countries, these guys should watch who they side with, or maybe our women should be watching them. Do they think this kind of behavior is acceptable? Maybe secretly they feel it should be. They were very enthusiastic about pointing out what men in our country have done to their women, and when they do that, they are in essence agreeing with the Muslim treatment of women. I have to say I will NEVER accept another invitation from these people, because to do so would enable them to continue to feel that behavior like this is acceptable. Needless to say, most horrible Superbowl party of all time. And I like football. Never again. Wake up ladies!!! And gentlemen.

      Angie… thank you for taking the time to post your your story. More of this should get out to the women of the world who are still free. My wife became friends with a woman from work quite a few years back who had married an Iranian refugee to this country. They had a son about the same age as ours, and her friend invited us over to a BBQ one afternoon. The husband was nice enough to me, but I could see that there was NO interaction with my wife at all. I was uncomfortable with this to say the least. To this day, my wife is amazed at the stupidity of the women in this country who vote and condone this multi-cultural crap (Democrats all) that support this 7th century BS mentality. To be fooled by arguments that Christianity (or most other religions for that matter) have had atrocities and attitudes in the past, ignores that in the last thousand years, they’ve also had the time to use intelligence and common sense to evolve into civilized humans. Not so with Islam (from what I can see) … still stuck with oppressive men teaching hated of non-believers as their sole reason for being.

      What a horrible SB party, with horrible hosts. If I were you, I would go back there for the next SB party…and bring your stepdaughter, too. Force them to make eye contact with you. Force them to answer your questions and converse with you, too. Make them uncomfortable in their own skin! If possible, bring another female or two, and have them do the same the whole time you are there. Make sure you spill something on one of them. And no matter what (even if it means rooting for a team you despise), cheer for the ‘other’ team (and hope they win). If they do, rub it in! If they drop a pass, say “even Muhammed coulda caught that” and if they score say “praise Allah”…you know, just to insure their uncomfortability. You will never get invited back and you will have given a very passive-aggressive ‘flick of the finger’ to these dirtbags. Either way, sorry to hear about your party and I hope next year’s is swell for you.

    What get’s me is that if notice everyone around the table are just waiting for Bill to say something intelligent. Then when he opens his mouth nothing but gibberish comes out. That makes you wonder the intelligence of HBO. Have no noticed that when people who can’t make rational decisions tend to stay together. This is because they are the only ones that can understand what the others are trying to say.

We have deceived ourselves. “Radical” is another term for someone who actually lives by the precepts of their religion or beliefs. The fruit is evident.     First of all, comparing a man cutting off his wife‘s head as an honoring killing and Lerraine Bobbit cutting off her husband’s penis, are two different subjects.

    The Muslim that cut off his wife’s head, did it because she asked for a divorce and he considered it “his right” to kill her. Bobbit’s act had no religious aspects what so ever.

    The fact is, Islam is violent. Islam is not a “religion” of peace. It’s not even a religion. It’s a cult that operates using control, fear, violence and hate.

    My wife, being British, said they would come over to England and find a British woman and woo her. Then marry her and take her to Douchebagistan or wherever he came from and begin beating them and cutting them off from their family. She said it happened quite a bit….and that was over 20 years ago! I can‘t imagine how it is now that the Muslim’s have taken parts of England over!!

      The big differences between your two examples is that the Muslim guy cutting off his wife’s head is legal and fully encouraged–as well as relatively commonplace–in countries with Sharia Law; whereas the Mormon raping his daughters is illegal, egregious, and not so commonplace. (Well, men raping their daughters might be more commonplace in Sharia Law-controlled countries…I don’t know.)

      Ironman, I totally agree with you. I would also point out abusing women in America is against the law – hit your wife and get arrested for assault – kill your wife and face murder charges. Abuse of women in the Muslim faith is within the Sharia Law and in Muslim countries women can be beaten and killed for not ‘obeying’ their fathers or husbands. Women are stoned for being alone with a man that is not related to her, young girls are placed in marriages to old men and are killed when they refuse to take that man as their husband – the list of accepted abuses is long and even includes radical Muslims not allowing women to be educated. To have Travis try and say how women in our country are treated as bad as women in Muslim countries exposes the stupidity of the man. The moron next to him seemed to be going there as well – I was glad to see Bill defending his position and wished the woman on the panel of idiots would have spoken up as well instead of looking as moronic as her companions.

Rachael Maddow was just trashing Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity last week for saying bad things about the Muslims. Does Rachael not understand what they would do to a lesbian?

      @MAULMAULE…..I too, see a grassroots revival going on, but….and it’s a big BUT….All the way through the Old Testament, the Lord judged the nations by the practices of the LEADERS, and the PREDOMINANT culture of the nation. In the case of the U.S., the People elected (allegedly) a pretender as POTUS. His lack of Christian knowledge and his support of “the culture of death’ as espoused by liberals at all levels who think a womans right to terminate pregnancy at will, is a MORAL choice, tells us all we need to know. The citizens are always caught in the middle when a powerful leader makes the dangerous decision to TEMPT GOD.
      What do you think is the “real” cost of 54 million ‘sanctioned’ abortions? Who will stand to pay?

If you like their the newly-released movies they have than get net-flix, or Showtime, or any other service.

I was “approached” by a man who said he was from “Persia” I guess he thinks all American women are stupid and I would not know that was Iran .. anyway turns out all he wanted was free sex.
