AZ Gov. Jan Brewer Talks About Heated Argument With Obama: ‘He Didn’t Feel I Had Treated Him Cordially’

Upon deplaning Air Force One for his fifth official visit to Arizona, President Barack Obama was greeted by Governor Jan Brewer.

According to KFYI, Brewer handed the president a handwritten letter, they spoke and at one point she pointed her finger at him. It seemed they were talking over each other, then Obama appeared to walk away from the governor while she was still talking.

“He was a little disturbed about my book, Scorpions for Breakfast,” Brewer told one reporter. ”I said to him that I have all the respect in the world for the office of the president.”

“The book is what the book is. I asked him if he read the book. He said he read the excerpt.”

Asked what it was about the book that disturbed him, Brewer said, “That he didn’t feel that I had treated him cordially.” She added, “I said I was sorry he felt that way but I didn’t get my sentence finished. Anyway, we‘re glad he’s here. I’ll regroup.”

Brewer said that the letter she presented to Obama was asking him to sit down with her to discuss an economic comeback in Arizona and to extend an invitation to lunch along with a visit to the border.

“I thought we probably would’ve talked about the things that were important to him and important to me, helping one another. Our country is upside down. Arizona was upside down. But we have turned it around. I know again that he loves this country and I love this country.”

      AZ and Texas should pursue to remove themselves from the Union. They have great leaders already with Brewer, Arpaio and Perry. Not to mention Beck (haha). I will move there soon. Seriously though, I think that if this POSPOTUS, shows up in any state he should respect the Governors. He is the guest not the Emperor.

      I was disgusted to find out every road coming in and out of my town was blocked off so that man could land at an airport less than 5 minutes from my home. And of course, the one picture they get and run with is with Jan with her finger in his face. As for him, he has some nerve coming here to speak to Intel about job creation after he ensured we were stuck with a huge legal bill upon his injustice department suing the state for trying to do the job they refuse to do. Wonder how much we had to pay for his little campaign stop?? All of the taxpayers paid for the fuel and security–and those of us who are close to the airport just picked up a huge tab for his landing by way of him taking up law enforcements in not ONE, but two towns. The airport straddles the border of two towns.

      @tmplarnite Here’s a suggestion travel to Texas, AZ, CA, etc. and challenge the businesses who are hiring and exploiting illegals so they can make more money. It is the businesses and individuals that are providing the jobs to illegals that are the cause of our immigration problem. Stop looking to blame anyone other than that. If you don’t question every contractor or company you do business with regarding their status relative to illegal workers, then you are part of the problem.

      I’m not entirely certain how one can derive a full rounded judgement about an entire volume of work in a book by reading “an excerpt”, especially a judgement that comes out as “you didn’t treat me with respect”. A true intellectual would have read the book if he found the excerpt about himself distasteful, in order to glean the context of the remarks and determine if in fact he didn’t have all the facts at hand.

      A narcissist on the other hand, would see fault in even a small sentence stringed together, that was not wholly complimentary of himself.

      Draw your own conclusions which camp Obama falls into.

It is the UNITED STATES – the STATES and the PEOPLE have the power and they CREATED the Federal government to handle issues that affect all the states like national defense, currency and immigration.     Gov Brewer should forget about reaching out to the feds for anything at this point. Do whatever you can do governor and ask other governors for help where you need it. It’s impossible to work with Obama or our current justice system. IMPOSSIBLE. Im sure the states will help you tho. (I hope) God Bless your good work Gov Brewer!!

      When Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the 300 member Cold Case Posse is done with this usurper come February we will all be able to breath a breath of fresh air knowing that this Usurper in Chief will become powerless. The Democrats will have two choices facing them, keep him as their candidate for 2012 and receive the spanking of a lifetime or dump his sorry butt and beg Hillary to fill the void.

      I believe that Congress will have to deal with the mounds of evidence that will be submitted to them. They will not be able to ignore it. I cannot wait to watch all the Media outlets (including Beck, Inc, and Fox) wipe the mud from their faces and beg forgiveness from their listeners for ignoring all those crimes.

      I hope we are able to finally settle the confusion about the Constitutional requirement to be a “natural born Citizen.” I also hope we see a special session of Congress in which the President will have to address the nation and resign. That would certainly open up the possiblility of criminal charges to be leveled against this usurper.
