Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio said Thursday he believes President Barack Obama’s birth certificate is a forgery.
Arpaio, the 79-year-old Republican sheriff of Maricopa County, made the announcement at an Arizona news conference following his months-long, volunteer-staffed probe into the birth certificate released by the Obama administration last year.
Theories that the president’s birth certificate is fake have been widely discredited.
“A six-month long investigation conducted by my cold case posse has lead me to believe there is probable cause to believe that President Barack Obama’s long-form birth certificate released by the White House on April 27, 2011, is a computer-generated forgery,” Arpaio said according to the Washington Times.
A report lays out what Arpaio’s investigators said were “anomalies” on the birth certificate released by the White House that are “inconsistent with features produced when a paper document is scanned.”

“Based on all of the evidence presented and investigated, I cannot in good faith report to you that these documents are authentic,” Arpaio said. “My investigators believe that the long-form birth certificate was manufactured electronically and that it did not originate in paper format as claimed by the White House.”
In addition to the birth certificate, his investigators also claimed Obama’s Selective Service card was forged.
Despite the findings, Arpaio repeatedly insisted he was not yet accusing anybody — including Obama — of committing a crime.
“A continuing investigation is needed to identify the identity of the person or persons involved in creating the alleged birth certificate forgery, and to determine who, if anyone, in the White House or the state of Hawaii may have authorized the forgery,” Arpaio said. “That‘s what we’re working to, to find out who did it.”
Still, he implored Obama to come forward with “other documentation to put this to rest.”
“As I said at the beginning of the investigation, the president can put all this to rest quite easily,” Arpaio said. “All he has to do is demand the Hawaii Department of Health release to the American public and to a panel of certified court-authorized forensic examiners all original 1961 paper, microfilm, and computer birth records the Hawaii Department of Health has in its possession.”
Arpaio said he embarked on his investigation after 250 people in Maricopa County came forward and formally requested he look into claims that the birth certificate was fake. Now that his results have been released, Arpaio said a congressional-level investigation might be warranted.
“I can’t let it die. We have evidence,” he said.

How can this particular name of the hospital be on a birth certificate

Who is a natural-born citizen? Who, in other words, is a citizen at birth, such that that person can be a President someday?
The 14th Amendment defines citizenship this way: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.” But even this does not get specific enough. As usual, the Constitution provides the framework for the law, but it is the law that fills in the gaps. The Constitution authorizes the Congress to do create clarifying legislation in Section 5 of the 14th Amendment; the Constitution, in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4, also allows the Congress to create law regarding naturalization, which includes citizenship.
Currently, Title 8 of the U.S. Code fills in the gaps left by the Constitution. Section 1401 defines the following as people who are “citizens of the United States at birth:”

I doubt Obo really knows where he was born his mother moved about so much. She went from place to place and guy to guy. Too bad she left him with good grandparents. If she hadn’t, he would have become just another stat on the welfare list, sitting in jail waiting his turn to go before the judge for failure to pay child support.

Biden was elected as VP, and would therefore never have been VP and the Speaker being #3 wouldn’t come into play either. Sheriff Joe responded that no other agency has conducted an investigation. There is missing micro film from customs in the two week period requested by Arpaio after customs told him they had the micro film. Only 2 week period of micro film records missing for 40 years of data. Don’t know what to think, but i do know that the integrity of the entire agency is on the line .

Obama‘s father is a Kenyan and at the time of Obama’s birth, Kenya was under British rule. However, in this instance, you are correct about the constitution. It says that the president must be a natural born citizen, but then doesn’t define natural born citizen.
That being said, the SCOTUS has ruled one time on what natural born citizen means. A natural born citizen is someone who is born in a US state or territory, to parents who are both citizens, natural or otherwise.

There are two methods to which a person can be considered a “citizen” in the U.S.
1. Naturalization. This is a process for foreigners to become citizens.
2. Native-born. A baby born in this country is a citizen. Period. This is a process whereby foreigners (and indeed, illegal immigrants) can be in the U.S. and have a baby here, thereby making that baby a citizen.
Our Constitution requirement has a higher standard for the President’s citizenship than either of these two. It is termed “natural-born”. Vatel’s tome on natural law referred to natural-born as those born in a country to parents whom are citizens of that country.
Don’t you all remember when Obama was supposedly being “vetted”? There was something “embarrassing” on his BC? Reasonable people could have surmised that the embarrassment was that the husband of the mother was not the biological father, and thus, though Obama Sr. could be seen as having done an honorable thing at that time (1961) which was to marry a young pregnant girl who knew she was going to have a “black” child. With the smug release of this BC (remember it was released as Trump was making noise, and as soon as it was released, lo and behold, OBL was supposedly killed) Obama’s claim that Obama Sr IS INDEED HIS BIOLOGICAL FATHER, he, himself has revealed his ineligibility to be president due to the revelation that he is not natural born (both parents citizens), REGARDLESS of his PLACE OF BIRT
