J. Eric Fuller, a survivor of last weekend’s shooting massacre in Tucson, gained national notoriety this week after claiming shooter Jared Lee Loughner got conservatives Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin their “first target.” The Blaze also brought you the story of Trent Humphries, a Tucson-area tea party leader who was warned by police to “stay away from public places” as his organization was being targeted with threats following the shooting.
On Saturday morning, Fuller and Humphries met during a town hall-style event hosted by ABC’s Christianne Amanpour that featured family members of victims, Tucson citizens and community leaders. Toward the end of the meeting, local news reports that Fuller objected to comments made by Humphries and Arizona state Rep. Terri Proud, a Republican. In response, Fuller took a photo of Humphries and told him, “You’re dead.”‘
Pima County police deputies immediately escorted Fuller from the room. The Sheriff’s spokesman, Jason Ogan, confirmed Saturday afternoon that Fuller has been charged with threats & intimidation and disorderly conduct.

The ABC News town hall meeting, dubbed “After the Tragedy: An American Conversation Continued,” is set to air on Sunday morning, but it was not clear whether Fuller’s comments would be included in the final broadcast.
Also in attendance for the town hall meeting were Mayor Bob Walkup, Democratic Congressman Raul Grijalva, and former Congressman Jim Kolbe.
h/t Fox News
Update: ABC News is reporting that as sheriff’s deputies escorted Fuller from the forum, he could be heard screaming, “What’s the matter–with you–whores!” Additionally, ABC notes that Fuller was taken to a nearby mental health facility.
Update II: A Pima County Sheriff’s spokesman has confirmed that Fuller was “involuntarily” admitted to a mental health treatment facility Saturday and will be held there until the hospital determines his release. If Humphries decides not to press charges, the charges will be dropped, Deputy Jason Ogan told KNXV in Phoenix.
In the days since last week’s shooting, Fuller has been spotted around town, visiting with reporters at the scene of the crime. Fuller also reportedly attempted to visit the parents of Jared Lee Loughner, showing up unannounced at their home on Friday. Though the Loughners were not home, Fuller took some time to speak to a local news crew:
Update III: ABC News briefly touched on Fuller‘s threat Saturday evening during a plug for Sunday morning’s town hall discussion broadcast. For some reason, however, ABC failed to mention the threat was made against tea party leader Trent Humphries, simply noting that Fuller had been charged with a misdemeanor (h/t Newsbusters):

Earlier last year when the threats were being made against the democrat congressmen and women, during the health care debate this didn’t make it on Fox News, or the Blaze.

In response to your reference to the preceding dialog, No polar opposites should stay together… I believe the lawyers call it “Irreconcilable Differences” in the context of marriage. No reason to shoot one another.

The president needs to stick out his finger and raise his nose on high and make is trademark statement, Make no mistake. Posted on January 16, 2011 at 11:33amI literally just finished reading Bernard Goldberg’s book “Arrogance”, which is his follow-up work to his first book “Bias”. I started it about four days ago and I was absolutely chilled when I read his preface. “Arrogance” was written in 2003, long before Sarah or Glenn were on the radar screen. I recommend both books to everyone who hasn’t read them.
One friend said that she doesn’t believe news stories unless a reputable news source carries them, like the New York Times or the Boston Globe. I made sure to send her this quote from the book -
One of the quotes from ARROGANCE is unbelievable:
“A veteran TV cameraman ((a freelancer who depends on the networks for his liveilhood and therefore asked that I not use his name) told me that he was in the Persian Gulf in the late 1980′s covering the Iran-Iraq ware when “I saw a tanker being attacked. Mobile phones were new back then, and I called the network foreign desk in New York to let them know that we had some pretty dramatic tape of the actual attack. And the person in charge in New York said to me, “There’s nothing on the wires about it.“ We keep saying ”It’s happening right in front of our eyes,” and New York keeps saying, “It’s not on the wires.” Because it wasn’t on AP or Reuters, the editor wasn’t interested.”So the cameraman did what a lot of other frustrated journalists in the field have done. “I called the [local] guy from the wire services; who then put the story out. Then I get a call from the same editor in New York who is suddenly interested and says, “Send us the tape of the tanker that was attacked.”
You see, this editor in New York wouldn’t trust what his own cameraman was seeing with his own eyes. He needed to see the story in print first; then, and only then would he know it was real, legitimate news.” (Arrogance, pp 59-60)
It’s very, very sad that the MSM is so slanted, but they don’t realize it, simply because everyone they know thinks like they do.

As far as “both sides shutting up”, that is just what the left wants. If those of us who are innocent of wrongdoing allow the enemy to lie and distort without responding, then the sheep who don’t pay attention will not know the truth and will believe what the state-run leftist media tell them. We on the right need to do exactly the opposite of shutting up; we need to continue to shout the truth from every podium available to us. He has made a bald faced threat, in the open, and was immediately arrested for that threat. It doesn’t matter what he thinks is a threat at this point, he should have known better! In my state, this type of threat is a third degree felony. This man’s rights are now suspended by law. This man would have been better served by friends who knew the story of the alledged shooter and filled him in on the media dis-information machine and the crap it was cranking out! But that didn’t happen, unfortunately. No DOCTOR, when you threaten someone with DEATH, you will be arrested, your rights suspended, your trial impending, and your sentence eventually metted out. No one is to blame except the alleged shooter. That has been obvious for some time now, but did this idiot bother to do his homework? No, he did not. Did this idiot bother to do his homework concerning the Tea Party movement? No, he did not. His rights are hearby suspended … next case!

Posted on January 16, 2011 at 1:39amHold the phone Lucy… You have to remember that the left believe that any truth that goes against their political agenda is hate. Therefore, to them the right is guilty of “vitriolic rhetoric.” Really, somebody needs to start a new website with Liberal/Progressive “redefinitions” of words.
Racist – Anybody who is against our political agenda now that we have a black President. This can include the words socialist, marxist, or pretty much anything that can be found on Tea Party sign.
Hate Speech – Anything that is said that is not in agreement with our political agenda.
Hatemongers – Anyone who speaks publicly about not agreeing with our political agenda.
Social Justice – Also know as Socialism or Marxism. The theory that people deserve money and material goods simply because they breath and even though they do nothing to work for it; therefore it must be taken from those who do earn it.
Lie – Anything said Hatemongers say. Note: Please do not research anything the Hatemongers say. If someone presents a fact that does not agree with The Agenda, ignore it at all costs, label it as a lie and deny it at all costs.
Fact – Cherry picked information taken out of contest and then molested, spun and abused until it fits The Agenda. (See distorted statistics reported by the New York Times in 1992 that eventually led to the Community Reinvestment Act of 1999 which led to the collapse of the US economy in 2008)

I don’t know her at all, but from everything being reported about her, she is a caring woman without a mean bone in her body. I hoped her husband might come forth and ask that the “blame game” cease and desist for the sake of his wife’s recovery but, to my knowledge that hasn’t happened. At some point, when she has recovered more, she will get wind of the vicious accusations being made towards people who don’t deserve them and she will be extremely disappointed in the media, the sheriff and at least one of her supporters. By BOB CHRISTIE, Associated Press – 2 mins ago
Report Post »PHOENIX – One of the Arizona shooting victims was arrested Saturday and then taken for a psychiatric evaluation after authorities said he took a picture of a tea party leader at televised town hall meeting and yelled: “you’re dead.”
James Eric Fuller, 63, objected to something Trent Humphries said during the forum taped for a special edition of ABC’s “This Week” with Christiane Amanpour, Pima County sheriff’s spokesman Jason Ogan said. Fuller was in the front row and apparently became upset when Humphries suggested that any conversations about gun control should be delayed until all the dead were buried, KGUN-TV in Tucson reported.
Fuller was arrested on misdemeanor disorderly conduct and threat charges, Ogan said. While Fuller was being escorted out, deputies decided he needed a mental health evaluation and he was taken to a hospital, where he remained Saturday evening.
The hospital will determine when he will be released, Ogan said.
Fuller was one of 19 people shot at a Safeway store Jan. 8. Six people died and Rep. Gabrielle Giffords remains in critical condition with a bullet wound to the head.
Fuller described the shootings as “a bad crime drama” in an interview on CBS’ “The Early Show.” He said he felt a bullet that hit his knee but didn’t know he had also been struck in the back. Fuller, a naval air veteran, drove himself to Northwest Hospital after being shot, according to the Arizona Daily Star. He was later taken to University Medical Center where he was released two days later.
The show was videotaped at St. Odilia’s Catholic Church in Tucson. Victims, witnesses, emergency responders and some of those hailed as heroes after the shooting discussed the tragedy.
The special will air Sunday on “This Week” with Christiane Amanpour.

He would have injured/killed a lot less people of everybody else had guns.
The benefit of everybody bearing firearms, rather than bats, is that it’s more difficult to be one-upped by more lethal weapons.
Also, the Second Amendment was written so the the people would be able to defend themselves against government abuse of power. In fact, that is the primary reason for the Second Amendment, rather than self-defens; And we know that because the restriction is placed on government to restrain them from taking away the arms of the people.

That’s why guns ARE NOT bad! You get a few lone wolves with guns and bad things happen. The problem is there are MILLIONS of gun owners in America .. most of which never commit a crime with their firearms.
If I hear gunshots at the mall or at the store, I’m going to take out the shooter or die trying. That’s why it would be a BAD idea to disarm the people! We need MORE responsible carriers in America. If we had that, and didn’t have gun free zones, this nation would be a safer place.
Gun free zones accomplish nothing. If I’m a criminal, do you think I care what a little plastic sign says? Especially if I am fixing to shoot the place up? ALL that does is set up a situation where NOBODY who has GOOD intentions can carry there – which ends up getting people killed. That’s why nobody tries to go to GUN SHOWS or BIG GUN STORES and ROB the places! Criminals KNOW there are bad ass conservative patriots there who ARE armed and who WILL kill them if they try to rob, kill, steal, or destroy. FACT.

Posted on January 15, 2011 at 10:18pmTo anyone saying we need to ban hi-cap magazines .. don’t you realize you can still kill TEN people with a TEN round magazine? What’s the point of banning 33 rounders, 17 rounders, 15 rounders, 13 rounders etc? It really won’t make much of a difference. A skilled shooter can do a tactical reload in less than a second. Banning hi-cap magazines might slow down a mass shooter but it surely won’t stop them.
Betides, do you think banning guns here will stop gun violence? Our porous Mexican border will allow the gun trade to explode in such an extreme case of ignorance by our govt. They’ll come in with the drugs. The bad guys will still have guns, and the good guys will be like sheep waiting to be slaughtered by packs of wolves. A mass shooter might have to pay $500 to get a pistol, but that’s not too much when someone has $500 bucks and knows they probably won’t be alive or free the next day.
Gun control simply won’t work. Bottom line. It will cause more violence, more crime, and generally get more people killed. Your average corner drug dealer might not have guns but the big boys will .. and they’ll be more likely to use them, too.
Now, back to your regular mindless drivel .. err programming!

Posted on January 15, 2011 at 10:43pmI’m NOT taking Mr. Fuller’s side here, but ————–
Most of us understand that when a soldier comes home from war after seeing horrific things and experiencing violence first hand, we recognize that he might be angry and has trouble re-entering civilian life – even after he has been trained for that kind of life.
So, can we assume that Mr. Fuller, having seen horrific acts and himself and having been wounded, not only feels lucky to be alive, but is also feeling guilt for having survived while others didn’t – and he is angry.
The mere fact that Mr. Fuller remembers incidents that happened when the Tea-Party backed Republican (who opposed Ms. Giffords in the last election) inviting his supporters to play with his assault weapons at his rallies.
Something that hasn’t appeared on this site is the video of Ms. Giffords verbalizing her concerns about Ms. Palin’s map – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7046bo92a4 – saying actions have consequences.
If you or I were traumatized after seeing friends wounded and/or killed I’m sure we would expect others to understand our anger. So can we cut Mr. Fuller some slack and allow the legal system to work??
Report Post »USAMama
Posted on January 15, 2011 at 10:59pmThis is because of the Sheriff Dupnik, he needs to resign. This shooting had NOTHING to do with the Tea Party, Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck. Where did this guy get the idea it had? From the Sheriff who couldn’t keep his unjustified “opinions” to himself. If there is violent fall out from this smear against Americans, its on him!! He and only he is inciting violence by his accusations!
Report Post »Jsh1284
Posted on January 15, 2011 at 11:10pmSenior – I don‘t think that’s the case. This guy is trying to get in the spotlight. He is a passionate liberal who wants gun control legislation rushed through congress. Obviously, he is ticked off that it’s not happening .. so he lashed out. Most likely, he IS traumatized. He’s now even more of a naive anti-gun nutjob who thinks because he’s been personally affected by .1% of the gun community that he now is even more passionate about getting rid of a constitutional amendment which was created to protect the people. I think he is so traumatized, he now thinks because it happened to HIM the issue MUST now be taken up, legislation MUST be passed, and they should name the new constitutional amendment banning guns the “Eric Fuller” amendment.”
I guess this guy does not realize had there been a civilian sheep dog who was armed in that crowd, he might not have been shot at all. Oh, and that little girl would be alive most likely.
Finally, about playing with assault weapons .. do you know what an assault weapon is? An assault weapon is a fully automatic military or police rifle. Some assault rifles are BURST FIRE! The problem with using the term ASSAULT RIFLE for say .. describing a civilian AR-15 is .. they ARE NOT ASSAULT WEAPONS! These are semi-automatic rifles which (mostly) are legal for hunting and target practice use. These rifles that the victim here was showing off were NOT tactical military assault weapons .. rather CIVILIAN authorized Class I firearms. They are no more deadly than a hunting rifle. Actually, they are LESS deadly than most hunting rifles. An AR-15 shoots a .223 caliber bullet. It was designed for killing varmints. Eventually, the military adopted a higher pressure version (5.56) because it is still effective. However .. a .308 hunting rifle is surely more deadly than a pesky AR-15 or a Mini-14.

If you look at statistics, people are more afraid of knives over guns. If banning guns is the safe way how do people get murdered in prison?
I do not think everyone should be carrying a gun but I do believe we all should have the opportunity to. I have a concealed weapons permit. Had I been at the shooting, yes I do believe I would have had a 100% better chance at stopping the loss of innocent life over someone who had no gun. Mathematics proves it. Probability.
If having someone else with a gun isn’t a good idea then why the questioning on relax/zero security? In calling for more security, would that be a call for trained guns? This horrible shooting goes to show you what happens when civilians don’t have arms and exactly why we should have permitted concealed weapon carriers among us.

It’s like blaming your ball point pen for mis-spelling a word or your refrigerator for getting fat. Or maybe .. a better example is blaming McDonalds! People show their ignorance without even knowing it. I’ll help you prove your point on hi cap mags..Keep up the good fight..
A person with a single shot break over 12 gauge could potentially kill more then a 30 round tapco clip or any hi cap pistol mag.
For those reading who do not know a shot gun shell holds many many little bullets and when shot it spreads into a pattern potentially wide enough to hit a five ft diameter, maybe bigger. Banning hi cap mag is a non sense solution.
Violence is what needs to be stopped, not guns, knives, single shot or high cap mags. Violence comes from a thought or feeling inside of you not from inside a barrel.

Partially agree with you. If liberal you mean Progressive Francis Pivens as liberal then yes and instead of creating a law to ship our political enemy out which could in turn be used against us lets stand together with truth and convince more to our side. That’s how you kill evil with kindness, not violence like them. Violence is just a tool and used by many and a lot.
Unfortunately all facets of politics contain nuts, not just liberalism in your term. Liberal to me is more a libertarian, liberal to conservatives as they wanted even less government. Progressives want to move past conservatives and control everything. I believe 100% in the individual.

Posted on January 16, 2011 at 12:54amYeah, we should cut this idiot some slack. Please… Isn’t that why there was a shooting in the first place? Because a few people along the line gave the shooter some slack? Had Dupenik done his job, or his parents had done their job or the College had done their job instead of “giving him some slack” or just simply making him go away like the College did we wouldn’t be on this post talking about this right now. So, suppose we give this guy some slack, what’s to stop him from making good on his threat? That’s one problem with the liberal mentalilty, nobody’s ever has to face consequences for their actions (except those who don’t agree with them politically, for them they want public hangings).
So a Youtube video was released today of the shooter taping himself skulking around the campus at night. There were some key terms and phrases that alerted me as to this kid’s journey of madness. Does anybody remember the mantra of the left just 5 short years ago? “Illegal Wars” And then of course there’s the constant mantra of the green left about “genocide” And let’s not forget how they love to throw around the word “torture” In fact, haven’t they been screaming about the Private who stole documents to give to Wikileaks as being “tortured” for being in solitary confinement? So let’s follow the crazy train of the left (don’t stress if your selective amnesia makes it hard to keep up libbies), powered by hate. ALL of them board the train at “Bush and his illegal wars” and think he should be tried for war crimes. Now a lot of them get off the crazy train here, but some move on to the “Bush secretly blew up Twin Towers on 09/11/01 (building 7, building 7, building 7). Notable people who believe this: Van Jones (also a big proponent of the Government performing “genocide” against black people in urban poverty communities), Janeane Garafalo and Oliver Stone. Not many get off the Crazy Train at this point, exept those who tow the line and support Democrats no matter what. Next station on the route, the Bilderburg’s and their quest to dominate the world through Global government and one monitary system (see infowars.com). Now we are in full blown nut house territory. These guys are suspicious of ALL government and worry about mind control, etc. A notable member of this crowd? Willie Nelson. So if you take someone from the Crazy Train at this point, who’s been “given slack” by his parents and the law and not been made to answer for his actions, how far a jump is it to find him with a gun on a Saturday morning at a political event, ready to shoot to kill? Has anyone considered that if he had been made to take a psych evaluation he would have never been able to legally buy a gun?
And Tinkerbell, before you remove the blame from those it belongs to and place it on gun control, consider this. When Chicago banned guns in 1982, gun violence went up 50%. When they were banned in the UK, gun violence went up 300%. Criminals who use guns generally don‘t give one rat’s ass about gun laws. The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with one.
The liberals answer for everything. A mad shooter kills a bunch of people? Ban guns from law abiding citizens. A radical Islamist carries a bomb onto an airplane? Make it where law abiding citizens can’t get on a plane without choosing to be pornographically photographed or being sexually assaulted. Poor people won‘t get a job or won’t get one because smoking blunts and watching MTV Cribs on their big screen TVs with cable is sooo much easier? Take money from those that work and give it to them.

Posted on January 16, 2011 at 3:31amAwaken ye faithful! Do your eyes not hear? Do your ears not see? Glenn foretold that blood would run in the streets, and his prophecy has become reality. He has spoken that Obama would issue in an era of conflict and revolution, as he, the so called “Chosen One” assumes dictatorial powers.
Do you not see what is happening to this country? Our freedoms, removed piecemeal over the last two years, are now gone. A good friend tweeted me that in Franklin Minnesota, households have been raided and all guns confiscated, although there is nothing (yet) on the news. The government claimed it was because Al Quada operatives were in the area and guns were now prohibited for “safety of the populace.” Sure, like I believe that.
The FBI is taking “hostiles” into custody for so called national security reasons. You may notice that your Internet service has slowed recently and wondered if you were sure about that. But incrementally the government has through the FDIC has seized control of ISPs and is just now limiting access to certain “unpatriotic” websites, perhaps including this one, until you pay a “patriot tax”, which is basically extortion.
As Glenn said, “The revolution is now.” He didn’t mean “the revolution is sometime later when you get the guts to do something.” It’s now and the blood has already begun to flow.
The Marxists are in charge of the government, your freedoms are gone as you see every day, the Constitution has been shredded and thrown in the trash can. The coup is complete.
We must rise now to defeat the evil that has overtaken America. If you have kids or don’t have the bravery to fight back, I hope at least you’ve stocked water and food and those seeds to grow wheat that Glenn advertised on his show (a show which the government will be shutting down soon). If you are brave, and are willing to lay down your life to save this country, then lock and load. Don’t retreat, reload. Let’s exercise the Second Amendment remedies the Forefathers so thoughtfully put into the Constitution, knowing that a tyrannical power, one able to overcome a filibuster, would rise up and destroy everything Americans have worked so hard to achieve.
Put your sights on the enemy and then let’s pull the trigger on the anti-revolution and take our country back from those who would destroy it!

Posted on January 16, 2011 at 4:03amWe don’t know that he was liberal, just because he hates a tea partier. Just as it is logical fallacy to assume that because Jared Loughner attacked a Democrat, he was necessarily a conservative by political ideology, it is equally fallacious to suppose that Fuller was necessarily motivated by political attacks. Even his comments accusing Palin and Beck might come form the same alternate causality; that we was angry and traumatized FROM A SHOOTING.
I don’t really care though–if he broke the law then the law will be applied. I hope that the punishment suits the severity of his actions (there‘s a lot of information we don’t know; the context of the remarks, whether or not they were metaphorical, and whether or not he seemed to be displaying violent intent or physical aggressiveness). Depending upon the severity of these factors, I feel that we should consider a simple fine (if it was a metaphor taken out of context (certainly poor choice of words)) all the way to imprisonment if he was aggressive and appears to be a potential threat).

Posted on January 16, 2011 at 4:50amI must agree with Archon on this one. While what the man said is inappropriate, I don’t know if there has been any proof of his affiliations besides the fact he was at the rally. Regardless, I hope that this is simply a case of PTSD, people do some crazy s*** after surviving a crisis. Since he was taken seriously, I hope he gets the help he needs and everything is squared away before he goes off. If it isn’t and he is just angry, I hope he learns the lesson that making threats at political targets after surviving an incident where a political figure was the target is a BAD IDEA.

I strongly support this man’s right to threaten the life of elected officials – Right or Left; Tea Party, or otherwise – if he honestly thinks an elected official is violating his oath to the Constitution – that’s what the Second Amendment is for.
I even support this man’s right to threaten the life of those who he believes are responsible for unjustly threatening the lives of others. Remember, Fuller survived an unstable man’s rampage, so inasmuch as he believes the Tea Party is responsible for that tragedy, he has a right to be outraged, and a right to seek to stop what he considers to be the source of murders.
I don‘t take issue with Fuller’s outrage or threats – that’s not the issue. The issue is whether or not Fuller can argue that the Right is, in actual fact, guilty of deliberately inciting murders, or, as the Right has argued, that government is overstepping its authority, infringing on the unalienable rights of individuals, which is tyrannical and has lead to hundreds of thousands of deaths time and again throughout history, and therefore (as some on the Right has argued) must be threatened according to the Second Amendment.
I did find it interesting that Fuller was willing to threaten the life of someone he thought was guilty of inciting murders, yet completely misses the fact that it’s basically that same reason that is offered by those on the Right in support of the warnings about government abuse and the threats against those elected officials who would violate their oath to the Constitution.

But now I know that what will actually happen is that the final bubble: the currency bubble is going to take care of all that for us. God, in his (or her, as you please:) terrible, relentless love is queuing up an event and answer to our prayers at this very moment. It is so poetic too that the destruction of the malicious, willfully stupid and their hapless followers will be brought about exactly and precisely by their own actions. God is great beyond words to express or mere minds to comprehend. The only ones left standing in the end will be those who have awoken and prepared. Who just coincidentally are the exact same ones who can innovate and re-birth this great and noble Country. Well, and Mormons too… he, he… LOL…

We all have the right to say as we wish at least I believe that and hope to obtain that right. With that same right we have responsibility individually for those rights. If you come out and say I‘m going to kill you or you’re dead, yes you should have that freedom, in fact I’d prefer it so as to know the threat, but you should be responsible enough to know once you threaten the police will be questioning you and investigating you as it is a serious threat. Not haul you off and throw away the key. Say what you mean, mean what you say. I agree do not ban threats, it helps find the nuts threatening peoples lives.
Common sense will tell you if you are at a tv taping and you become angered and say you’re dead and then start acting unstable, police are going to have you evaluated especially when you’re the victim of a recent shooting. That is what we pay taxes for police to do, question and prevent serious threats.
A lot are worried over gun laws but banning guns will never happen. I see this more as an opportunity for those in power to “deem” those “unstable” at will and use it as a political silencer. That’s the deception threat I see potentially.

“We all have the right to say as we wish at least I believe that and hope to obtain that right. With that same right we have responsibility individually for those rights. The police don’t have a right to question free speech. We have a right to defend ourselves, since Fuller believed his life was in danger due to Humphries, the Tea Party leader, he had a right to make threats of self defense. If Humphries wants to press charges for intimidation, then he can do that – otherwise the police need to butt out.
“Not haul you off and throw away the key. Say what you mean, mean what you say. I agree do not ban threats, it helps find the nuts threatening peoples lives.”
It‘s not only nuts that threaten people’s lives. It’s defenders of life and property that do so, as well.
“Common sense will tell you if you are at a tv taping and you become angered and say you’re dead and then start acting unstable, police are going to have you evaluated especially when you’re the victim of a recent shooting.”
The man wasn’t acting unstable, he was acting angry – and at a reasonably proportionate level to the threat he felt.
“That is what we pay taxes for police to do, question and prevent serious threats.”
We pay taxes for police to protect our unalienable rights, not to quell free speech – Fuller didn’t do anything illegal (Constitutionally speaking). If Humphries wanted to press charges, THEN the police can get involved, but not until.
“A lot are worried over gun laws but banning guns will never happen. I see this more as an opportunity for those in power to “deem” those “unstable” at will and use it as a political silencer. That’s the deception threat I see potentially.”
The gun bans come a little at a time. First it’s registering firearms, then it’s a ban within 1,000 feet of elected officials. The Second Amendment was written to safeguard the People’s right to threaten government when it oversteps its authority, so both of these types of bans are unConstitutional.
