Bachmann: Obama‘s Letting the ACLU ’Run the CIA’

(AP) Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann is accusing the Obama administration of committing “strategic blunders” that have hampered U.S. efforts to combat terrorism.
Bachmann concedes that President Barack Obama achieved a “tactical” success in bringing down al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and in taking out some of his cohorts in drone attacks.
But she tells NBC’s “Meet the Press” that Obama “is allowing the ACLU to run the CIA,” complaining that it was wrong to ban waterboarding:
Bachmann argued in Saturday night’s foreign policy debate for reinstituting waterboarding. She said the intelligence community has been deprived of the ability it once had to get vital information from detainees in the war against terrorism. The Minnesota congresswoman said Gauntanamo isn’t a long-term solution and that “we have no jails for terrorists.”

Suffocation: a plastic bag over a persons head until passing out or close to; no real physical harm except internal straining, mental destruction is possible as is death. Is it torture? yes
Water boarding is simply the same as suffocation. Being torture or not is a play on words. Water boarding is simply the technique that causes the least amount of bodily harm and mental destruction as well as death. All are still possible but less likely and severe compared to the top two.
All in all, it is still torture and not the character of Americans.

That the Iraq WMD excuse was a manifestation of the Bush administration: Wrong. Read Bill Clinton’s speech when he went on TV and announced his attack on Iraq in December of 1998. Put it side by side with Bush’s speech about WMD; as you’ll see, the Clinton speech is where it originated. Hillary knows the REAL story behind all this, and is why she fervently supported the Iraq war resolution.
That Bush came up with the idea as related to Tony Blair about flying a U2 low and slow over Iraq to get it shot down and provoke Iraq into war. Wrong. Read Gen. Hugh Shelton’s book and reference his first White House breakfast as Chairman of the JCS in October of 1997. (Clinton administration). He was asked by members of the Clinton cabinet whether or not it would be feasible to fly a U2 low and slow over Baghdad to get it shot down to provoke a war with Iraq.

(I was seriously cheated in a civil case in the New York Courts, who couldn’t figure out that when the power to act is coupled with the obligation to disclose; when disclosure doesn’t take place, the power to act is void! Otherwise, you can’t know who has cheated you, how they cheated you or even when they cheated you! But that stupid court was only too proud to tell me WHAT they cheated me of, demand that I surrender my property, and that THEY reimburse me my purchase cost (for the securities)! I am sorry but that act, in and all by itself is why Amerika is having TSA issues (airports, Tenn. highways, highschools), raw milk issues (WI), can’t eat food from your garden issues(WI), can’t defend yourself against illegal police invading your home issues (IN). Before 911 the Islamists had been at war with us for 20 yrs but we just swatted at the pesky flies(think bombing aspirin factories & janitors!) AFTER 911 we realized those FLIES had the ability to destroy us!
