‘Hot Dog, Yep That‘s Me’: Bailiff Says Detroit Judge Sexted Her

Say what you like about the Supreme Court, but at least the dignity of that institution is still intact. The same can’t be said for many lower courts, where erratic judges have been doing their best to make the American legal system look as suspect as possible. The most recent example of this unfortunate phenomenon comes from Detroit, where one Judge came to the mystifying conclusion that sending a picture of him after literally disrobing was a good plan. A husband is upset after finding a photo of a nearly nude man on his wife’s cell phone. She says the photo came from her boss? What does she do for a living?  She’s a court bailiff. Who’s her boss? Detroit 3rd Circuit Judge Wade McCree.

Fox 2′s Charlie LeDuff shows the photo to Judge McCree.  The Judge seems quite proud of it.  “Hot dog, yep that’s me,” says McCree. Play the video to get the full report and to hear what the judge himself has to say about the photo.[...]

LeDuff also talks to legal analyst Charlie Langton who says it’s possible McCree could lose his job over the photo. McCree’s father, Wade H. McCree Jr., was the first African-American judge to be appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and only the second African-American solicitor general, serving during the Carter administration.

Not exactly a good career move in the legal profession – “judges gone wild” doesn’t really have a ring to it.

    Surprise HARVARD education……….he‘s married and swims at the ’Y’ are the women black also, just another DEM’S WAR ON WOMEN ? I think someone should check the “gay” websites! If he should lose his job, not his pension, the TSA would be good place for him!

    It seems there are lots of terrible judges and lawyers popping up everywhere lately. We just got rid of 2 judges in our district when the papers revealed that they had withheld evidence and sent an innocent man to prison while they were working together as prosecutors.

      The examples set by Sweet Old Barack and Eric Holdup seems to have given all blacks the license to do anything they want. The attitude of the leadership that they will only enforce the laws they deem worthy has given others the same rights. This Judge feels that he can do anything with impunity. The leaders of this administration set the example.

    This country can not crash and burn fast enough. If we can;t oust the current administration and all the libs in November I don’t see any other way. We need a reset and a new understanding of individual responsibility. I am truely sickened by what I see every day.

      “What a body of evidence he has.”
      “I know what you mean now by a well hung juror.”
      “Nothing left to do but bang his gavel.”
      “He can put it in the hands of his attorney, but he’ll never make it stand up in court.”

    This guy is tame but very wrong. There are a lot of judges out there with child porn on their office computers. The judicial system and conduct has gone to the toilet. This guy needs to go.

    First time around I thought this has to be a joke. Seriously, a judge would not talk like that, act like that, allowed to be interviewed like that, own up to sending it??? Is this a real news story or a hoax? God help us if it’s true. Surely, surely this man will be removed from the bench if it’s true. Good grief, what is happening to this nation? There is not one morsel of remorse, embarrassment or regret in his voice – he’s PROUD of what he did! This is crazy, just crazy. And so very, very sad.

      What I find utterly astonishing is that when black men “make it” to positions of trust and respect that they would tarnish and jeopardize their accomplishments so foolishly. I hope he loses his job and never has another that will allow him the opportunity to bring such shame to the judiciary or to African Americans.
