It seems Barney Frank is comfortable enough with his sexual preferences to joke about them. On “Hardball” last night with Chris Matthews, Frank responded to criticism about gays being “girlie” by cracking a joke about his purse:

Our “representatives” just allowed yet another weakening of our country……. The rest of the world, especially Russia, Iran, etc, must think we are the dumbest country in the history of the world to give our dominance, strength and power so freely away.

Christians and Conservatives “tolerated” their acquiescence to abortions in this country while we see dogs have more rights than unborn babies. We’ve “tolerated” removing God from our schools while teaching evolution. We’ve tolerated the immorality of gays having rights, up to and just about including, marriage as we allow Christ to be removed from Christmas…..all while this country tolerates and advances any other religion besides Christianity.
It is time to take a stand for our faith and be the light to the world that Christ calls us to be. I am not ashamed of my Lord and Savior. Returning to the One and Only God is desperately what this country needs. Praying for His grace and mercy for our country. Merry Christmas to all!

If we have fighting men who are compromised, morally and spiritually. in the military, then we have allowed and sanctioned an unacceptable risk into combat operations. Hell at times we even make fun of them. I really doubt they will be the ones seeking military service. If they are, most of the nelly gays won’t make it past boot camp and those that do will wake up to the reality of what military service means and demands.
Also remember most of the military is independent and conservatives, not liberals. So I don’t see most of the gay community enlisting at this point in time.
Any type of uniform change, or designation on the uniform, that identifies them as being gay IS UNCALLED FOR AND WILL ONLY INCITE DISCRIMINATION.

As for the uniform regulations, the moment someone pushed that males be able to carry handbags or use umbrellas, you will see a large exodus from the armed service… more than now.

Nobody cares if you are gay as long as you are doing your job.
It’s the gay liberals who want to rub it in everyones face and these types are rare in the military. Look at Dan Choi, handcuffing himself to the whitehouse gates in uniform (a complete disgrace). The miltary does not want nor need people like that in the service, regardless of their sexuality.
