Be Prepared to Struggle: More Controversial Islamic Books Reportedly for Sale in Canada

Controversial Islamic books have turned up in Canadian bookstores, according to a report in the Toronto Sun. "A Gift for the Muslim Couple," which instructed men on how to beat their wives, sold out at one location.

After a report last week that a bookstore in Canada had sold out of an Islamic marriage guide instructing Muslim men how to beat their wives, more controversial texts have turned up in a different Islamic bookstore in Toronto, according to the Toronto Sun.

The books reportedly urge Muslims to turn the Western world into an Islamic state. They’re written by deceased Islamic scholar Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, described in one of the books, according to the Sun, as someone who “provided the present-day revival of Islam with its intellectual foundations”:

“Islam wishes to destroy all States and Governments anywhere on the face of the earth which are opposed to the ideology and programme of Islam regardless of the country or the Nation that rules it,” Maududi wrote in “Jihad in Islam.” “Islam requires the earth – not just a portion – but the whole planet.”

[...]

Maududi’s books carry a common theme of Islam as a revolutionary “ideology and program which seeks to alter the social order of the whole world and rebuild it in conformity with its own tenets and ideals.”

“Jihad,” which he refers to in at least one book as a war against non-Muslims, is in fact “undertaken for the collective well-being of mankind” to establish “God’s order” in the world and create a “just and equitable social order among human beings,” he wrote.

A terrorism expert told the newspaper such material is “problematic” for Canadian national security, but pointed out that Canada’s freedom of expression laws generally allow for such content.

“This is highly problematic,” David Harris told the Sun, adding that Canada’s expanding immigration of people from Middle Eastern countries increase the odds of bringing people with radical ideologies into the country. “What we’re seeing now is not even a hint of what we will be living….We’re going to see an expanding of these tendencies.”

According to the Sun, most of the small books are available for purchase at the Islamic Circle of North America bookstore for just $1. A reporter who inquired about their availability was told by a store manager they hadn’t carried “Jihad in Islam” in years, following inquiries by Canadian police, but within 30 minutes the reporter found it and ones like it on the store’s shelves.

The store manager reportedly became “irate” after the reporter discovered them and refused to comment.

The Toronto Sun has more on the books:

In the The Process of the Islamic Revolution, Maududi wrote that Muslims “should be prepared to sacrifice all prospects of personal advancement in wordily life” including giving up friends and their own and their parent’s expectations to further the expansion of Islamic belief.

“Society, government, law, nation, country, whatsoever obstructs the achievement of their object [of an Islamic Revolution], they should be prepared to struggle against it,” he wrote.

On the other hand, it is “impossible” for Muslims to live under an “alien State System” and observe Muslim beliefs, he wrote.

In Jihad In Islam, Maududi wrote:

“All rules which he considers wrong; all taxes that he deems unlawful; all matters which he believes to be evil; the civilization and way of life which, in his view, are wicked; the education system which seems to him as fatal – all these will be so inexorably imposed on him, his and his children that evasion will become impossible,” he wrote.

As soon as Islam “captures” another state, it will ban gambling and prostitution, outlaw business dealings forbidden by Islamic law and “make it obligatory for non-Muslim women to observe the minimum standards of modesty in dress as required by Islamic Law.”

As The Blaze previously reported, a Canadian jury in January convicted a Muslim husband, wife and son of murdering three teenage daughters and a co-wife in what was termed an honor killing. The trial transfixed the country and prompted a debate about assimilating immigrants.

If I were a muslim woman, and my husband, who smells like an odd combination of b.o. and perfume, mixed with a good load of fear….you know……the kind that makes Allah look small by only being able to sneak attack unarmed civilians…..and he started smacking me around…..then I would wait until he hits a good, deep sleep, and cave his face in with the heaviest cast iron skillet I have, and then get the hell out of town.

Canada better wake up fast and recycle those books into toilet paper while they can. Islam is an embarrassing stone age state of ignorance that should never be cowered to, but instead be held to open ridicule by people everywhere that don’t believe in treating women like property or beating them like rented mules, or sanctioning murder in the name of, “honor killing”. These men make pigs look good, and ought to be snuffed as vermin whenever possible.

Unfortunately this is the norm within Islam. It is noteworthy that the store manager lied about not having the book and then the reporter found the book in the store.

Muslims cannot seriously ask why non-Muslims are concerned about Islam and its intentions in the West.

Now this is a load of crap. The truth is that Canada’s freedom of expression laws only allow such content for Islamists and gays.
Only the Bible is not protected under those laws.
Ask the number of priests and other Christian ministers who have been dragged before, one Human Rights Commission or another and literally destroyed and forbidden to preach certain passages of the Bible .
The HRC‘s do not have to abide by Canada’s laws – so that kinda changes the picture doesn’t it.
What is being printed in these islamic books is the exact definition of inciting violence against an identifiable group or individual, which is precisely from what our laws are supposed to protect us. Instead the HRC’s make up the rules according to which, individual, group or groups they favour and the results have been devastating.

Here’s the thing–significant amounts of nuclear bombardment results in the vaporization of literally tons of carbon and radioactive isotopes which drift about in the upper atmosphere is radioactive ash, wish the wind can then blow any which way, and rain cancerous death down upon the land–people die slowly, or not so slowly, depending upon intensity, and land becomes infertile. Enough debris in the atmosphere could result in localized or global if there were enough, obstruction of significant amounts of thermal radiation from the Sun, which would be bad for agriculture to say the least.

The scale of nuclear war you are talking about would ALMOST WITHOUT A DOUBT make Israel uninhabitable, if they weren’t all instantly killed from the collateral effect of being almost literally surrounded by a nuclear carpet bomb–but I guess you didn’t think of Israel did you?…or reason really.

Interesting how both the Islamic fanatics and the Marxist fanatics share the same arrogant belief that they KNOW what is best for the rest of mankind in order to live a proper life. Such arrogance and intolerance . Completely at odds with a belief in the dignity of the individual and the right of the individual to determine his own destiny. Thus, we are faced with two major forms of totalitarian intolerance : one political and one religious. Both evil .

He never said anything about Christianity. What he was saying was that Islam and the progressives want to push their grand idea upon us, rather than letting us live our lives as we want to live.

Islam preaches its own form of government, which is largely socialistic. I read the Koran, I know what it says. It is a truly abhorrent religion.

Islam is a theological ideology. It’s power is only in being believed in, the same as any ideology. And hitherto, no known method exists to alienate the power of assent or dissent to belief held by an individual. Therefore, celebrate, since each and every one of you has the power to make Islam, and every pernicious ideology, powerless simply by choosing to not assent to their power by granting them belief.

Neither death, nor its threat, can make you believe something that is not persuasive in its own merits.

Nor is the death sentence for various religious offenses novel to Islam–it is, however, a reason to reject all theological ideologies, and moreover any ideology which claims authority it can’t give good reasons to justify. The government’s authority, for example, is sometimes justified by the exigencies of life when its actions are carried out correctly–it is necessary for someone to keep the peace, defend aggressors, etc., and much more many have found convenient for the government to do, though as always there is controversy on the exact boundaries.

Religion offers only metaphysical speculation to justify its claims–were it NOT for such draconian punishments for “deviance,” it would LONG ago have been abandoned. Not a reason to fear religion–a reason to scorn and laugh at it as a weak and atrophied thing, finally exposed by the light of truth for the baseless nature of its claims and authority.

Faith is also discussed in the school of theology.

To have faith in a religion, you have to have three ingredients. Knowledge, agreement and trust.

I have read the Koran…and It is not a good book. LOL They are the only ones that I know that openly do what the Koran says…It needs a re-write and only the Muslims can change it…And I have read some of the books they crank out for teaching their young impressionable children…seen some of the Sesame Street like TV…I don’t have anything good to say about what they are pushing.

Nevermind that “Chrislam” already exists–it’s called ISLAM. If you knew anything about it, you’d know substantial portions of the Koran are literally copy-pasted from the same texts translated (about a thousand times) into the Bible. They basically plagiarized Christianity, the same way Christianity plagiarized Judaism (and, topically, Mormonism plagiarized Christianity), and said “ah, that’s all MOSTLY good what they said, but they were just off, or left out, these FEW LITTLE DETAILS…”

As they say though, the devil is in the details.

He will cause ALL …Great and Small…Rich or Poor ..

      To swear allegiance to him.
This will be done by taking a “MARK”..!
      All people all faiths.
      NO exceptions ..!

Maybe when people see someone having a sword put to their throat
and Claims to be God ..
They will start asking the RIGHT questions..

The Bible says that there will be a great amount of people,
A …“multitude that no man could count” .

That were beheaded because of “His Name-Sake” .
That would be “The Real Lord Jesus” .
And they will come to know “REAL JESUS”
      During this time..
And because they didn’t fall for the lies of this
      False-Religion they will be saved.
And This leader is not going to be a guy ,that just talks a good talk..
He (Thee -Anti- Christ) will be able to do miraculous things ..

Ah but how do you KNOW this? By what arguments could one be convinced of it?

“Maybe when people see someone having a sword put to their throat
and Claims to be God ..
They will start asking the RIGHT questions..”
But isn’t Jesus claiming to be God? Isn’t Christianity claiming divine ineffable truth for the existence of its God and claims? I would ask that man the same thing I would ask you, Jesus, or your God–”you claim to be God–prove it! Only God could have the power to prove such a thing, so do it if you are God–by what do you justify your claim to divine authority? Although why God would even have purpose to commune with me, and why he would desire my conviction of his claim to divine status, which surely if true is independent my ignorance or knowledge of it, is beyond me.

      “That ..Will fall victim..”
Yeah that’s all fine, but if you are WRONG, and if you can’t give any reasons why you should be taken more seriously than competing truth claims, then no one should, or will, believe that’s going to happen, because it’s probably not, and if you are wrong, then it’s definitely not. And while my best guess is that probably all religions are full of ****, there is no reason that I can’t be wrong without you be right–another religion, another apocalypse, might be true. I will face them all the same way–with reason intact.

In 2001 there was just over 1,000 Mosques in the United States, in 2012 there are over 2,000, most funded and built by the Saudi‘s who don’t allow Christian Church’s in their country, go figure. Open borders to the North and South with open immigration policies by our elected officials in Washington. 85% of all Mosques in the United States hand out pamphlets of hate towards non-Muslims. feel better about Canada?

Toronto .. like many big cities … once was a lovely city … now not so much.

BTW .. didn’t Canada go after Mark Stein because he said something “offensive” … how “offensive” is encouraging one to beat ones wife and take over a country?

      Mark is great.
He’s the only acceptable fill-in for Rush Limbaugh.
If Rush has any other fill-in, I turn off the radio.
