Beck Announces Major ‘Restoring Courage’ Rally in Israel This August

Beck Announces Major ‘Restoring Courage’ Rally in Israel This August
The motives behind Glenn Beck’s recent trip to Israel now make more sense with his announcement Monday morning that he will be holding a major rally in Israel this summer.

“I believe I’ve been asked to stand — in Jerusalem,” Beck told his audience recounting a list of times in history when people and nations failed to stand with the Jewish people.  Beck explained, as he has often in the last year, how the life and thinking of the German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer has influenced him: “He asked people to stand for the Jewish people.” He told of Bonhoeffer’s call for pastors to stand with him.  Only six did.

Beck detailed current challenges facing the nation — “Things in Israel are going to get bad…it’s only a matter of time.”

“They are going to attack the center of our faith, our common faith, and that is Jerusalem.  And it won’t be with bullets or bombs. It will be with a two-state solution that cuts off Jerusalem, the old city, to the rest of the world.”

“It is time to return inside the walls that surround Jerusalem and stand with people of all faiths all around the world.”

The event will unfold under the designation “Restoring Courage,” with a clear intention that it serve as a step forward from last summer’s “Restoring Honor” rally held on 8/28 in Washington, D.C.

Beck explained that final dates and details are still coming together. He expects that there will be a full week of activities in Israel. There will also be ways for people to participate from here in the United States.

As full details become available they will be posted on Beck’s e-mail newsletter.

Beck explained that a trip like this will be “really expensive” for anyone wanting to participate.  He said his team has been working on putting together packages that will make the trip as affordable as possible for as many as possible.

“I don’t know how many people will come,” he said, “But if we can gather seven then we’ll have one more than Dietrich Bonhoeffer did.”

To LINDATHEPATRIOT: What an inspiring, non-self-centered and empowering AWESOME idea! Talk about carrying the light! I just listened played Glenn’s show from today and was prompted to start checking flights in August, (date TBD by my understanding.) I’m looking at $1518 – $2000 round trip from Texas … w/o hotel or travel expenses … OUCH! But I’m going to try to see if I can work it out. Many won’t be able to. I’m single so called a friend has spent some time there. He said it’s safer there that most places in the world. He’s considering going which would make it a much better trip for me, especially with him knowing the area, but not likely he can. I sent an email to CUFI.org to ask if they could open a blog or send a link where people might converse to share travel suggestions or ideas on charters or group rates. (I am leary of a consolidation of people that might invite being targeted, but fear has to be overcome at the same time as being smart.) He did suggest taking El Al, which is military managed apparently and the safest in the world, but they only fly out of L.A., NYC and Canada in N.A. apparently.

Regardless, BRAVO to you LINDATHEPATRIOT for the bright shining star of an idea. Let’s suggest this to Glenn. If I can’t manage the cost myself I would gladly contribute towards making the difference as a whole to enable others that can with our assistance represent us! Maybe our names could be represented somehow in a sign at the event? Thank

A Christian is a person who emulates Jesus the Christ through their actions. Jesus loved everyone without prejudice. So, I don’t think that “Christians” label Mormons as a satanic cult. I’m really getting irritated with the people commenting on here that rip other religions and beliefs apart. We need to unite based on our SHARED beliefs. Do we not believe that you should be kind, loving, charitable, regardless of a person’s color, religion, or opinions? I really hope that more people start to wake up and see that if we don‘t stand together we’ll all fall.

If you have ever been around Mormons, they call non-Mormons “gentiles.” I happen to be Jewish, and all of you non-Jews are “gentiles.” So, Glenn isn’t really having a personality breakdown – he’s cementing his alliance with people he considers his soul-brethren. @Liberal-Atheist-Critical-Thinker and his ilk are the only people that I know of who label Mormons as “cultists” – PBS did a hit piece on the Mormon Church that oddly coincided with Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign. And BTW, there are a lot of Christian churches that offer group tours of Israel and the Holy Land, so this trip may be more affordable than you think.

Well, I sure do hope there’re ways to participate from here – who knows what’s going to be happening over there then!! (or here) However, I do think God is “working through” Glenn about these kind of things, judging by the past events. And yes, I know he is Mormon and they are a “cult” – yes, I’m wholly aware of their doctrinal errors which worry me & I pray for all of them. But I think many have the idea, like I used to, that God won‘t work through people if they aren’t perfect “Christians” and theologically correct, etc. But from personal experience, don’t think that is true. God can and does work through them (like evil Saul “prophesied” the Lord’s words at times, a donkey “talked” to Balaam, some evil people in the New Testament spoke what God wanted them to speak – some about the fate of Jesus), etc.
Since he’s having it on “courage” – if this is truly from God, probably means really traumatic things will be going on & we’ll all NEED this courage…courage in the Lord. Think it’ll become more obvious to most people that we need Divine intervention – including the Jews – and as it says in Romans 11, many will be finally converted and saved as a result.

And in spite of every threat to its existence, being outnumbered by hundreds, and waging war since its inception, it has stood against everything that would have and should have broken it. Logically that country should have been destroyed long ago, but against all logic and odds it endures and thrives. And you can still stand and say there is nothing to that? Also remember that Israel is like the U.S., they allow, Jews, Muslims & Christian to all worship as they wish. Palestians can come to Israel as long as they come in peace and with proper papers. That is thw probelem getting the paperwork. Palestine wants to make their life miserable and try to keep them from crossing over. Joel Rosenberg works constantly trying to help them cross over and enjoy the freedom that Israel gives them. Maybe the trip is not for some of us, but remember Israel is going good.

I think what @Poverty.Sucks is asking is, why would Glenn hold a rally in Israel, if his show isn’t broadcast on their radios?

I don’t think that matters. Even if many people in Israel aren’t familiar with Glenn, they will be once the date gets closer. Media outlets all over Israel will report on the huge American contingent coming to Israel to show support for them and their country.

God says he will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel. I think this is a huge opportunity to be on the right side of history. God Bless you Glenn!

rose-ellen: As gifted as Beck is he is for the most part a very ignorant person. You and a few others on this site understand the grip which the Jewish people have on the American Media, Banking Industry and increasingly our Politics.. They all hate the Media, Federal Reserve, and our Politics in general but they simply fail to see who is the power behind the throne..

Most of these people are under the influence of a very prevalent false teaching in the Church but the additional Media propaganda is making them rabid. I sure hope cooler heads are able to prevail but it appears that the Jew has doomed us all…

I’m in full support of Israel, never felt any different then as I do now. I don’t think this administration has turned the people of America against Israel. It is only the administration and those that surround Odumbo that have turned their backs on Israel–small number. I know our military stands with Israel too! If Glenn feels he needs to go to Israel and bring Americans there (that have the $$’s) to convince Israel we stand with them…..well, so be it, but I just wish Israel would understand and know that most of America has never turned their back and never will. We do send money to Israel, this is supporting them too. We could all write on post cards and send them over or drop them from planes in solidarity too. I mean when 9/11 happened Israel sent us a message and I thought that was wonderful! They didn’t come over here for a rally with us, just their words were enough for me knowing they supported us.

It can be dangerous, that’s why its called COURAGE. Many will turn their backs when it comes to standing up to the evils of the world. Its what God asks us to do daily….many are too weak to lock arms and DO the right thing. DOING is what God asks of us. NOT talking about how we will change and support, but to DO IT! That’s what this is about. Actions. I understand that many can not afford this, but will you stand in your own community and say you support this here within the safety of your boarders? Stand and say you denounce the evils being showered on Israel? Most won’t even go THAT far. Lip service is wonderful, but if you can’t progress to action, then its worthless.

      Dear Glenn,
Get this out of your system before the big election push for next year. I was listening this morning when you announced this, and I was dumb-founded. I anticipated a huge Constitutional Revival, or a huge move to a boarder state for a showdown against the Lefties on boarder security and illegal immigration.
I hope you get your manic brain wrapped around the home-front for the “Big Push” to Nov. 2012.

I for one am not “worried” about Israel because I believe what the Bible tells me about the end times. No attack on Israel will prosper, God will intervene. Sometimes I wonder why those professing belief in Christ spend so much time in worry and fear when we are told that all these things must come to pass. It‘s all part of God’s plan and He doesn’t need your help in the matter.
If you have savings and the ability to take a trip to Israel perhaps you should rethink what that money would be better used for. Is someone in your family, church, neighborhood struggling? Be a wise steward of your possessions and pray before action to ensure that what you do is God’s will and not your own.

Glenn enjoys drawing attention to himself. He’s an entertainer and a lot of people are buying into his message. Given the opportunity, Christians enjoy visiting the land blessed by God for the people of Israel and walk the path walked by Jesus and stalked by Satan.

There’ still a lot of work to be done in our own country.

@dimmuborgir – This rally is about restoring courage to a land and a people that are being persecuted because they are God’s chosen people. The Bible is very clear about what happens to Israel in the last days, and eventually the Temple WILL be rebuilt and Israelites need to be reminded that the violent attacks on their country and on their faith will only be short-lived. I stand with Israel and I can‘t WAIT to check out the packages Glenn’s team puts together. If I have to work 3 jobs @ 80 hours a week to afford a ticket to go, I will be there. And it may invoke more hatred and possibly even threats of violence from neighboring countries, but the people at the rally will be able to stand courageous in the face of fear proclaiming that the God of Abraham is the ONLY true God and Israel is His chosen land and His chosen people. So, suck it.

Ohhh, the irony!!!! In the VERY SAME sentence that you accuse Israel of thinking of no one but themselves, you indicate that since YOU don’t have the money to make the trip, obviously NO ONE has the money.

How many of you that are griping about people spending the money to make this trip would be griping if they were just going to Disneyland or taking a Rhine Cruise? Say Glenn announced a “Conservative Thinkers Cruise to the Eastern Caribbean”? Would you still be griping? Would any of you say, “I don’t have the money to do this, how DARE Glenn ask us to do this?” Oh. My. Gosh. What is WRONG with you people? Can you seriously not THINK better than that? Because YOU don’t have the money, ALL PEOPLE SHOULD CEASE VACATIONING or TRAVELING??? Did it ever occur to you people that this is an OPTION, not a REQUIREMENT? I’m disgusted with you CHILDREN.

The same to those who say, “I do not approve.” Really? Gosh, are you gonna dock our pay? Oh wait, … we don’t answer to you and you don’t get to decide what everybody else does.

      @LibertyGoddess
I don’t believe Glenn’s idea is to reason with hate crazed people, but to encourage the people of Israel. (Surely you didn’t mean to indicate that ISRAEL is the people who are hate crazed.)

I don’t believe you ever listen to or watch Glenn, much less “love” him, and are in fact a troll. If you had ever participated in a function of Glenn’s you’d know he is very forthcoming with information about expenses and receipts. He usually covers more than any other organizer would out of his own pocket. You have absolutely ZERO reason to think he’d do any of the things you indicate he would do. I know that’s a crazy idea that we’ve apparently forgotten about as a society, but you actually DO need to have something to base the conclusion you leapt to on.

To those who think it’s too dangerous, I can think of only one better way to die than by standing with Israel, and that’s proclaiming the truth of the gospel of Jesus to unbelievers. If you DON’T know that we are to stand with Israel, then you clearly haven’t been reading the bible, so please don’t tell people you’re a Christian because you’re likely to misrepresent our faith in other ways.

To those who think it’s the wrong focus, and we should be focusing on the presidential election, go listen to Rush or Hannity. That’s their niche. Glenn is calling our attention to something far higher and way more important. You can focus on your tiny little battle, but whether you believe it or not, if we don’t stand with Israel, WE WILL FALL. PERIOD. And we may fall anyway, but it’s much better for us in the bigger picture to stand with them.

Personally I think this event is GENIUS! dangerous and brave! I would love to be the guy holding the flag for this event, PROUDLY leading the march to the grounds where it is to be held. Oh my gosh. I’m literally flabbergasted at your logic. FYI, it’s so illogical, you may want to consider that it’s why people think you’re a troll.

Did you even read what I wrote? I never asked you if you could afford to go. Let me explain how your comment is the definition of irony. Assuming that since YOU don’t have the money to go somewhere, then 1) NO ONE should go there OR 2) NO ONE has the money to go, is EXTREMELY self-centered. Not self-centered as in “someone who’s a jerk” but self-centered as in you’re the only one who exists or counts, i.e. “someone who only thinks about themselves”. See the irony? Consider this carefully and reread it if you have to before you answer: Are you truly saying that if YOU can’t afford to go somewhere then NO ONE should go there?

Then you go on to state: “So if I had the money Israel had, I might be able to afford it. But since I don’t the comparison is a bit of a stretch.”

Again, I NEVER COMPARED YOUR BANK ACCOUNT TO THE BANK ACCOUNT OF ISRAEL. In fact, I never mentioned Israel’s bank account AT ALL. If I had the Gisele Bundchen’s body, I could be a supermodel. So?

Now. I’m going to say something that you may take as an insult, but it really isn’t. I’m not being sarcastic. This is a sincere question. I’m actually trying to make allowances for the only thing that explains your reading and logic ability. ARE you in your teens? If so, I will try explain better. If you

You asked me if I think you’re self-centered. Well since you didn’t answer the ONE question I actually DID ask you, I can’t answer that. If you DO think that if YOU don’t have the money to go then NO ONE should go, then, yes, you are self-centered.

I can’t tell if when you say “How about you?” you mean to say I’m self-centered. If that is your meaning then please quote what in my comments led you to that conclusion. If instead you mean, “can YOU afford to go” then the answer is no. As it just so happens, I was laid off 2 weeks ago, otherwise I wouldn’t be wasting my time on a Monday doing this. I also can’t afford a BMW, a new wardrobe, or a trip to Europe, but it would NEVER even enter my mind to tell the advertisers or makers of those products that they shouldn’t offer them to the public since I can’t take advantage of them.

So, what’s the benchmark? Exactly what minimum of “people on this forum” should we choose in order to make this trip a “go”? If only 25% of people on this forum can afford to go, is that too little? How about 15%? How about only 10 people, Lot? If only 10 people on this forum can afford to go do we say it’s not a good idea?

As far as your quibbling over irony, ok, you win. I’ll accept your claim that instead of accidentally saying something ironic, you’re actually a hypocrite.

In the story Glenn even says this is expensive. I just don‘t get why we can’t do something that could attract alot more listeners. Can we at least agree that a trip to Israel, no mater how we feel about it, is pretty much outside of both our budgets?

I didn’t “throw” anything at you other than your own comments, and never mentioned free market capitalism, however I’m glad you recognize the concept. To be clear, you aren’t self-centered for saying you can’t afford it. That’s just a statement of fact.

You say, “I just don‘t get why we can’t do something that could attract alot more listeners.” As has been stated MANY TIMES here in the comments, and in accordance with every type of function that Glenn has ever done, there will be ways that we who can’t go can participate. Further, I’m just going out on a limb here, but I don’t think Glenn’s point is to “attract listeners”, but encourage Israel, or even more basic, do what he thinks he is being told to do.

“Can we at least agree that a trip to Israel, is pretty much outside of both our budgets?” Uhhh… yeah. I’ll also stipulate that most birds fly, most grass is green, and a trip of 1,000 miles would be quicker in a car than a bicycle. However, again, I fail to see why that is relevant to any part of this discussion.

The IMF has some of the biggest crooks in the world in it let’s just say jewish organized crime. I wonder if its because he is kissing the Israeli’s ass. Just a thought. ***Read this if you think this rally is a bad idea***

If you are Christian, it is our duty to stand by Israel. If you can’t afford to go, so be it. That is not a huge deal. But don’t tear down the efforts to stand by what we were told to stand by. (not because Glenn Beck did, but because God did) Have you not seen the increase in violence in the middle east? The increase of Israel getting drug through the gutters? It’s time the world sees people standing by and up for Israel.

If your argument is “Israel already gets our money”…..REALLY? Our money with OUR Government’s intentions? There is a difference between giving money directly to the person in need that you see right in front of you with your own two eyes, than having tax dollars you don’t want to pay going to something the government decided to pay for. BIG DIFFERENCE. One is pure and genuine, the other is with a hardened heart.

Glenn is doing this for totally selfless reasons and of course he’ll be criticized, but then again, he’s criticized from both sides because when you’re so filled with hate, it’s hard to see good. The world is watching and they see America, the great USA weakened under this administration and they are playing with fire while they have the opportunity. Criminy, Israel played its role in the climate-change-con-game too.

Glenn Beck tells people to: “read for yourself,” because he knows they won’t. This is why we have idiots like Alex Jones, (mis)interpreting Hegel’s paradigm.

      Open your eyes America.

Who was the target of 9/11? “The World Trade Organization.”

What was the role of the WTO? To get countries to willingly agree to the objectives in Agenda 21.

What happened if countries would sign the climate-change-(con)tract? The WTO cut off trade, or killed them.

Why are we at war? We’re fighting for the U.N’s Agenda to be implemented.

      Nationalists, fight for the state.
      Socialists, fight for the state.

Let me apologize to you in behalf of everyone who continues to expose and justify their prejudices without taking the time to understand a persons background and perspective. It disgusts me in general when forum posters don’t bridle their knee-jerk reactions and assume that some half-baked stereotype flung over their cyber-fence might solve something.

I say communicate and discuss with them as much as they will receive. (I think Glenn has been talking about this for a very long time) If they are done listening, then move on peacefully. Find others who will listen to reason, and Faith, Hope, and Charity. I think way to often people give up on substantial communication and discussion because they don’t feel informed, don’t have proper concern, or don’t know what they really believe in. So they either resort to shutting down and closing up, or they attack and distort.
It’s instinct on a “battlefield” to either go on the Offense or take up the Defense. But in these situations (the battlefield of ideas), I find it best to go out and Convert! To simply Teach, and then Unite.

      Glenn,

Just know that Gd is in control. In the “end times”, the knowledge from below merges with the knowledge from above and humanity has a “light bulb” moment which ushers in the Messianic Age. We will clean house, fighting evil and uphold the Gd’s laws. In the end, as in Isaiah, people from all over the world will come to Jerusalem, for mediation and celebration of the four yearly festivals “in song and dance” — like Israelites did at the Temple in Solomon’s time, and before that at the.Ziggurats (the largest being in Ur of the Chaldees — Abrahams “home town” ) scattered throughout Mesopotamia, the core of the ancient world.

How to get from here to there? There is much to be debunked. History has been rewritten by the conquerors since before Abraham’s time. The ancient world ran like clockwork for thousands of years before the first recorded wars (the Assyrians attacking Mesopotamian cities) Time to undo the confusion and have unity in our ancient past, so we can act together as one human FAMILY

This means the end of Islam and a return to our roots. Israel National Radio Interview: http://www.marcrubin.com/judean-eve.ivnu

I’m sorry, I can’t let this go by without asking. “They’re killing Christians over there”??? WHO is killing WHAT christians, and HOW MANY have been killed in WHAT PERIOD OF TIME? Are you sure you’re not thinking of Egypt? The last news report I could find was in December of last year when a hiker was killed in the woods, and most thought it was a terroristic attack. Any links you can provide to legitimate sources (i.e. not the anti-Israel websites run by guys in their mama’s basements) would be appreciated. Then again, maybe you’re actually planning on visiting Gaza or the West Bank.

Rick Burgess of the nationally syndicated radio show “The Rick and Bubba Show” went to Israel on the one year anniversary of the death of his toddler and said that it was the most amazing and beautiful place he had ever been, and that it isn’t at all as the media portrays it. I’m afraid there are myths about Israel that we believe because we hear them so much, but aren’t really based in truth.

But I am heartened when I come across fellow wayfarers who share a similar sensibility and goodness. Your words are as a balm so thank you! from the bottom of my heart.

I support Israel and any effort to help them remain a sovereign state. I admit that I am largely ignorant of the teachings of the bible so I do not base my love for this land or it’s people on biblical teachings, per say. Simply, my history is their history, they are my people as I was baptized in a religion based on Judaeo-Christian beliefs. I too cannot afford to travel to Israel to stand with Glenn though I admire his vision and his courage in doing so and I will support him, and all the faithful who join him, with my prayers, my thoughts and my words. Every fibre of my being denounces those who would smite Israel and seek to obliterate her from the earth. I say “Never again.” So should we all say, “Never again!”

well, i think Glenn’s “big announcement” is that he’s converted to Judiaism
(not that there’s anything wrong with that)

but his “need” to go to israel

along with the fact that he’s now publicly wearing a yarmukle

points to that being the obvious choice.

that, and all of his saying that he has a big surprise, a change in his life that he’s been thinking about for some time, etc.

all the while, he’s been meeting with more and more rabbis and israeli religious leaders

      well, its becoming pretty clear,

like i said, i nothing wrong with becoming jewish, not like its any worse than being a morman

so, regardless of what faith he chooses (although its pretty clear at this point)

i’ll still be a big fan of his

      and i’ll still listen everyday…

i just hope that once he “comes out” about his new faith,

that his show won’t constantly talk about israel

already he talks about it a ton….

and quite frankly, its just boring

      a total snoozefest, in fact…

why he would devote so much time to a tiny country, that ultimately has little or no strategic interest to the US
and, other than being a generally reliable vote in the UN, has not much value to the us
      is beyond me.

but, glenn’s cool, and i hope he finds happiness whether he converts to judiaism or not

just please glenn, whatever the case, more on domestic issues, and less ****-chat on israel,

Although I have “Courage”; heck I’d grab a stick, if I could, to help Israel. There’s no way I can afford to go physically.

I thought about it and decided to go to a local Synagogue and see if I would be able to help there or attend their services without denouncing my Christian Faith.

My feeling is more to stand with others and show we are Spiritually with them even if we can’t financially “go to the home land”.

I hope there are groups forming soon to financially help someone else go. I would help by sending them what I could to do my part to make this a success. I think a system of donations and a lottery are the best way for others like me to participate.

I, and I’m sure many others will be waiting for a chance to do as much as we can. This is a great idea; but, we need to work together on this one with many left back as Sponsors. I heard the amount or $4,500 being discussed. 100 people could easily send 1 person. Divide the number of the attendees of 8-28 by 100. What a showing of support!!! We have less freedom than Sep 10,2001 — not more. If the goal of this war is freedom, then we have failed. We were the ones who helped get rid of Mubarak, leaving him no time to set up a more peaceful transition. We cannot allowed our nation to get involved in any more senseless conflicts. The costs of war are sapping our national vitality to dangerously low levels. “If a free people be a wise people also, they will not forget that the danger of surprise can never be so great, as when the advocates for the prerogative of war, can sheathe it in a symbol of peace.” James Madison

He too has believed this lie and is now saying we all need to come together under God and rally for Israel even though they do not believe in Christ, are not of the tribe of Judah…Jesus is the way of the tribe of Judah and those not believing in Christ are not of Abraham, not of Judah.

Glenn is actually working with the wrong side as you will see all the Sunday Protestant Churches say yes stand with Israel to defeat Islam and all the Churches will be one, Roman style..Everyone will worship the same day and to one God, a false God. Then Shiloh will destroy them all…Read the Word, it says just that…

I believe Glenn will regret this…This is a spiritual trip, nothing political. A Mormon does not lead me spiritually and does not believe in the God I believe in…Sorry Glenn, I’m out, and I pray you find the true God from the tribe of Judah….

Interesting the absolute polarization on this issue & how quickly even ardent supporters of Glenn throw him under the bus. While most Americans cannot afford to go to Israel, doesn’t it make sense for him to go & call attention to what is happening over there? The country is encircled by countries of the Muslim faith; some of which are nuking up & want them ELIMINATED from the planet, i.e. Iran. Someone quoted a biblical reference that “God will stand with Israel” and why do any of us need to bother. To that person, do you not think that God works through Man, or without him? If Glenn only has 6 supporters there, & likely it will have many zeros behind that number, but wouldn’t it still be beneficial to the world to point out we are all citizens of humanity. If you read the Bible & the Quran, there are many similar stories, just told from two different sides. Does anyone think if Iran wiped Israel off the face of the planet, they would stop there? It would just embolden the radicals & they would find a nuke for D.C., L.A. or N.Y. There is a Holy War developing that has been called everything but that term. Most of our young people know little about our history, much less world history. It is easy to say you believe in God until someone asks you to stand up & confess that in front of a group of cynics or enemies. Whether you are Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Christian, or not religious at all, may God Bless Glenn & all involved for making the attempt to help a troubled land

Lastly, Israel prior to BHO coming aboard has voted with us 100% of the time at the U.N. While we may be providing them aid, hypothetically who appears to be more supportive of the U.S.? Israel, Pakistan, Mexico, Russia, ??? All of which have received aid from the U.S.

Glenn is going because he feels this is a crucial point in the history of us, not just Americans, but all peoples of the world. And the place is Jerusalem. I get it–he’s beyond just domestic issues, he has to be, because what happens out there comes back to us here and he is morally right to be concerned with what happens to people beyond our borders. Like it or not, Glenn has created an incredibly powerful machine but he uses his vast resources in the search of wisdom and goodness and what in defense of what is right in the world, what is right about us. When so many are using their resources to tear down, round up and annihilate one would think he would be summarily applauded for his efforts. I, for one, stand with him and am proud and thankful for the work he does on my behalf.

Hi Tech. The “God fearing missionairy woman” you referenced was a vocal antisemite blaming the world’s ills on Jews, as Hitler did, as you shamelessly do now.

Here’s a thought. What if you’d been born Jewish. Would you still believe the Jews were responsible for everything that is wrong with you?

In reading some of the comments, my first thought was “it is not Glenn we are standing with, it is Israel, the people God chose to be His people. If we don’t stand with God and His people, we won’t stand for long. The second thought was, “if some chose to go to Israel, God bless them. If some can‘t go for whatever reason or don’t chose to go, God bless them. The main point here, in my opinion, is to have the courage and faith in God to be able to stand for your convictions where ever you are placed. Glenn feels to go to Israel – May God bless him, and those who go with him.

Name calling is just childish. Yes, there may be people here who are infiltrators – so what? Perhaps they will be educated. Hopefully.

Yes, this is a difficult trip to make. Yes, this is a tough time to do this. Yes, we do have enough on our plate already, and Yes, this could put us in harms way… but what I find amazing is that the perception of the comments are that Isreal is the offender instead of once again being the victim. We don’t see this for what it is… another plan to annihilate the Jews. Remember, “Those who bless Isreal I will bless, those who curse Isreal, I will curse.” Our greatest ally is being told to divide their country up further and lose access to the holy places it has occupied through history. I‘m glad our ancestors didn’t shirk back from going overseas to fight against the atrocities, but all that is being asked here is a show of support. Perhaps we are not worthy of freedom.

To understand why what happens in Israel is important to us in the US, we need to understand the biblical history of Israel and God’s eternal covenant with the people of Israel. Glenn, you get it in spades and I’m with you all the way. The minute I heard about Restoring Courage last night, I know that I need to be there to stand up and lock arms with other supporters. A great book that I just finished the day before your announcement is Cursed, by Mike Evans. God will bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse Israel. I know what side I want to be on!!!

Curious. If Glenn is so Pro Israel. How come there are 400 Rabbi’s petitioning to have him removed from the air? Has Glenn even addressed this? Obviously, they aren’t as excited about Glenn as he is for them. Why is that?
