Posted on January 13, 2011 at 9:28pmUh, I’m not sure what speech Glenn watched, but what I watched was terrible. It was a typical obama campaign speech with a little fake reverence thrown in for effect and plenty of scripted pauses for applause from the adoring masses. I love that team-obama handed out tee-shirts with ( probably ) his 2012 campaign slogan on them. It was pretty gross. Think again Glenn.

For those who watched the service (nevermind what Glenn says)…what do YOU think?
I watched it and thought that it was not what I would define as a memorial. But hey…if the Tucson community found it to be healing, then it was a success. My prayers are with the grieving families and friends of those killed & the loved ones of those wounded.

Yes the crowd’s behavior and the T-Shirts were were in poor taste, crass and disrespectful…..I can assure anyone that not a single one of the idiots clapping and hooting would be hooting at the Memorial Service of a loved one of their own…
my surprise is at the accolades, even from Glenn Beck, for Obama’s speech.
Everyone knows that Obama can give a rousing speech with pretty or rousing words…that’s how we got INTO this mess, after all.
So what……actors get Oscars for brilliant monologues all the time, it doesn’t mean they should be the Commander In Chief.
Just as Obama did not stem the tide of nasty rhetoric from his fellow Democrats beginning less than two hours after the massacre, he also did nothing to silence the pep rally atmosphere.
He could have reminded everyone that they were at a Memorial Service and asked the crowd to behave more respectfully and to hold any applause or cheering. Even if they didn’t comply I would have greatly appreciated his request. As it is, as it was, Obama drinks adulation like a thirsty plant soaks up water and to my deep disappointment , he fed on the applause and energy and began speechifying, testifying, his manner of speech changed, dropping his s’s and I believed his words less and less and less until I was thoroughly disgusted.
Obama makes everything about him, regardless of the words he speaks, I simply don’t believe a word he says.

I do not for one second believe that the President went into that arena blind, without any of his staff first scoping it out to see what was being given and handed out and what the theme of the rally would be. Posted on January 13, 2011 at 11:01pmI guess Glenn has never been to an Irish funeral, and theirs are the best. You morn the absence of your friend or family member and you cry abundantly for the loss, not only yours, but everyone’s loss. But you also raise a glass and give a hip, hip hurray. And you laugh and cry with joy at the good times you shared, and you are thoughtful throughout about their life and your own mortality.
With the death of so many innocent lives, and the miraculous recovery of this exceptional public servant, one who has given her energy to love of country, people will experience additional emotions, including the best of human emotions, to come together and work toward the common good. Some will cry, some will laugh with joy, and some will cheer. All of which are appropriate to the individual.
Giffords family has expressed their appreciation of President Obama’s speech, and all of the emotions shown at the event, and that’s good enough for me.

I sure wish Glenn had said something about the fact that the idiot waited 5 days before he said anything and a whole lot of damage was done in the meantime…many, many good Americans were offended by all of the hateful, unfair attacks…and… if anyone takes offense at me calling him an idiot…well, that is mild compared to what I’d call him if I had a one on one “audience” with the guy…
I can honestly tell you that if he were to show up at my doorstep, he would not be welcome in my home!
I believe the man is a coward…whenever anything of substance is passed he always leaves town or gets out of the country so that he does not have to face confrontation…HARDLY the actions of a leader…Hell, hardly the actions of a MAN! Nuff said!

We’ve had a few murders here in town and there are photographs of the graveside service with some of the mourners wearing T-shirts with the picture of the deceased on them. It’s not something I would do, but if it gives comfort to the family and friends, okay by me.
However, I don’t quite know what to make of this as the slogan was printed and it seemed more like a marketing ploy than a memorial rememberance. I wasn’t watching the service, but apparently a Native American gave the opening prayer that sounded like he was talking much more about himself than the victims of the shooting. This seems a little skewed to me.

One could say that they were celebrating because most if not all that were killed were more conservative than they cared for.
Is it just me or does anybody else see O‘Reilly’s ego catching up with his age? I wouldn’t be surprised if he uses his upcoming interview with the anointed one to begin his presidential run. Anyway, I agree with Laura Ingram about Bill not wanting to blow his interview. Dana Perino came across as I always see the former Bush cronies. That was kind of an American dream kind of thing. And he was editor of the Harvard Law Review – and the first black one at that – a distinction only one student of the receives each year. And he did teach Constitutional Law at Harvard. And he did become the first black President of the United States.
But I concur he’s an idiot compared to you. You took some classes at college although you didn’t graduate but so what? And you’re making $17 an hour in a job that requires little if any formal education. And High School was the most interesting time of your life. But you’re not offended for me to point that out. You shouldn‘t be offended that you’ve never really accomplished anything in life beyone pay the rent on your apartment and buy your girlfriend/wife a few roses on Valentines day and feel like you‘re smart because you can afford cable TV and feel good when Beck becomes a billionaire telling you and people like you that you’re smarter than all those dumb, devil worshiping Democrats. You wouldn’t be offended if I called you an loser and an idiot compared to the President of the United States would you?
Because you’re not an idiot! You’re really smart and as Glenn says, you know more than any of those rich powerful people because you know how important it is to support rich powerful corporations so they’ll take care of you with big raises and create jobs! You are really smart to do that!

Posted on January 14, 2011 at 12:07amFox news showed a few minutes just prior to Obama and his wife coming into the venue from an area on the floor reserved for Obama, other dignitaries, friends, and family members of the killed and injured. Brett Beir was simply filling in a few minutes with talk while the cameras focused on that one area of the venue prior to the event starting. That’s when I noticed Nancy Pelosi stand up to talk to someone behind her and shake their hand. Within seconds a young man walked over and leaned over the rope-line and said something to Pelosi. She immediately got a big smile on her face and she walked over to the rope and stood next to him so someone else could took take a souvenir picture of this jerk and Pelosi locked arm-in-arm and smiling like two happy little comrades. Then other people started to come forward to get their souvenir pics too. It was obvious that Pelosi was enjoying the moment, but at the very apex of her self-promotion Obama walks in and he and Moochele take their places in the front row almost directly in front of Happpy Nancy and ruined her moment. All this disgusting behavior by Pelosi and her adoring fans happened in a matter of mere seconds. But those few seconds told me all I needed to know about this Memorial. Then to bring my anger to a boiling point, the crowds cheered madly as if they had just won the final four. I turned off the TV and my wife and I just sat there staring at each other not believing what we had just witnessed.
I no longer care what drives progressives to do and think the way they do. They can think and do whatever they want as far as I’m concerned, I just don’t want them doing or saying anything near me or my family. We are cutting progressives out of our personal lives. Last night I mentioned how our family has decided to take our kids out of the public school systems by months end (we have a large family stretched across all of America), and today we took further steps to isolate progressives from us. We have some progs that we do business with. No more! We canceled some feed contracts today and will be using new vendors starting tomorrow. We also have some web-based businesses that we need to look at. To be honest, this is going to be the hardest for us because most web-hosting, and web-safety/security-verification companies are run by progs. Hopefully there are Conservative companies out there to fill the void. If not we will just shut down our web operations (my wife and I are supposed to be retired so maybe its time to shut them down anyway). On the family front… We have some family members that married progs. They now understand that their spouses are not welcome here, and fortunately the two that are in this situation totally understand and have no hard feelings about the decision. This will not affect the kids of these two couples, they will always be welcomed in our home and our lives.
This may seem drastic to some, but after what has happened this week (and the history of the last 50 years) this seems like a very sensible move. As I mentioned last night, we do NOT want our families to be infected by whatever social and mental diseases they carry with them. So for us this is the only prudent thing to do.
If any of you have other ideas that we can use to isolate them (progs) from us (conservative Americans) we would like to hear about them. Thanks.

“I beg to disagree! If you listen he was whipping them up! He was just as much to blame as anyone there! He could have stopped the whooping with a word! He did not!”
When he and his wife walked to their seats and the place erupted like the Super Bowl had just been won was the time for him to be a leader. He should have simply turned to the corwd and asked them to quiet down with hand jestures. But he did no such thing then, or at any other time during his speech. He blew his biggest chance to be a leader. There is nothing he can ever do to re-gain that lost moment. And to think we have to endure him for 2 more years. God help us.

Remember they are still police officers, and if we see something happen out of the ordinary with any of them, we must see to their safety, as any officer.
I’ve had this happened to me.
If you see a police car pulled over, wide open preferrably but even if locked up, and no officer around (scope the area out, do a search) If you can’t find the officer, get on the radio if the door is open, if it‘s not break the driver’s window out, get on the radio tell them who exactly you are, and explain the situation, and where the squad car is. Give them a car number too, if not able to give the call sign such as 2 Robert 09, which was an officer friend of mine in Seattle. I used to ride with him all the time, sometimes he’d come pick me up with paperwork in hand for me to sign.
These were good days
Anyway I found one of his fellow officers who I did know and did ride with him as well.
His car was parked on side of the road, Bill was nowhere to be around.
So I got my cellphone out and called 9/11 and explained the situation, they sent another car, but before it arrived Bill returned.
He was indeed suprised to see me.
And glad I got him help. If I hadn’t had the phone, I would have got on the police radio.
Course the liberal police Gil Kerlikowski (who is now Obam’s drug czar) would be pissed, but who gives a *****.
I’m out to save the life of an officer, and they damn well know it.
The law should know The Blazers on here are their friends, and we will step in and help them in need, even in watching or holding suspects or helping to make an arrest. I’ve done all this.

I don’t have many friends left because I speak my conservative mind, so be it, but I’ve not given up on them, yet, I work them slowly, using Alinsky tactics, by nudging them here and there. I am not sure your strategy is the best one though, here’s why, if you remove them completely from your lives, you will not know what they are thinking, they will gutter snipe you behind your backs, your names will become mud. Maybe a better approach is to accept them into your lives, and use pysc on them? In other words, teach them your values, show by example how to live a good life, maybe slowly over time it will rub off on them? If you excommunicate them, then they will just continue to hate, but if you accept them into your life, maybe over time you can change them. I know it would be a VERY hard thing to do, and maybe would not work, but Jesus advised us to love our enemies, feed them, etc, by doing that and ‘nudging’ them small bits at a time, it may just work. Otherwise, you risk alienating others from your life, and you may find it a lonely existence?

For too long Americans have been set one against the other, it is a side affect of a free market society. How can profits be maximized, how can I get the work done for the lowest possible costs. This continually sets one group against the other, especially in the blue collar sectors of America. It has become a part of the American Business model, whether it was indentured servants, slaves picking cotton, sharecroppers, the industrious people that built the railroads or todays migrant workers. As long as we remain divided, fighting for the scraps that America has to offer it will be one group against the other.
What I see in Obama is a chance for a revolution. A chance for every group to participate and be heard; A chance to live the American dream that has been denied to so many. Together we can and will change the world and return America to the shining beacon of Hope and Prosperity that we were and that we can be again. Only when we work together do we accomplish feats that rival any ever accomplished in the history of mankind. Diversity is our strength, that is what this campaign brings us a promise of. For many this is a scary prospect and thought, getting to know someone different from myself. We all want the same basic things for example a safe place to live, health and a quality education for our kids.
In a previous career, I was the global leader of Diversity for a global fortune 500 corporation, I have studied the affects of diverse groups working together and the results can not be denied. Together we Thrive!!!!!!!!!!!

Obama may have had a good speech, granted, but you can’t treat a memorial like a campaign stop. The first time the crowd cheered, he should have asked them to respectfully hold thier applause, and remind them of the gravity of the situation. This was no time to pander to your audience. Say what needs to be said, at least pretend to be somber and reflective, and then sit down. Simple.
My guess is victim’s family members instead each got a personally autographed promo t-shirt from Obama, since this moment was all about him, and they should be excited that such a superstar would come perform at thier service.

To be honest, if you were going to cut your sons and daughters out of your lives because they disagreed with you politically, you probably aren’t a very good parent and/or grandparent. i’d love my son if he were a democrat, republican, libertarian, whatever. i believe the reason your kids weren’t upset with your decision to cut them off, was probably because they didn’t want your poison in their lives anymore. Posted on January 15, 2011 at 5:21pmGlenn Beck Speaks the TRUTH, regarding the intentions of “these people”,
who do not seem to have any “Respect for the Dead” or the “Trauma” that
the victims and their families are going through during this time: (Please listen
to their words and see the work of their hands?)
There is no Truth heard from the mouth of these people. There is no love and
compassion seen in the works of their hands. Those who are Children of God
(YHVH) are able to discern this, through Jesus (Yeshua) Christ and the Holy Spirit
(Ruach).
Quote from Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary, “8:41-47 Satan prompts men to excesses by which they murder themselves and others, while what he puts into the mind tends to ruin men’s souls. He is the great promoter of falsehood of every kind. He is a liar, all his temptations are carried on by his calling evil good, and good evil, and promising freedom in sin. He is the author of all lies; whom liars resemble and obey, with whom all liars shall have their portion forever. The special lusts of the devil are spiritual wickedness, the lusts of the mind, and corrupt reasonings, pride and envy, wrath and malice, enmity to good, and enticing others to evil. By the truth, here understand the revealed will of God as to the salvation of men by Jesus Christ,”
We are not allowed to judge others. Judgment belongs to God, but we have been given the responsibility to discern the spirit, which flows out of the mouths of others. Jesus spoke in the Word of God regarding these people.
Quote from John 8:44 (Jesus replies to the Sadducees & Pharisees), “You are from your father,
the devil, and you prefer to do what your father wants. He was a murderer from the start; he was never grounded in the truth; there is no truth in him at all. When he lies he is speaking true to his nature, because he is a liar, and the father of lies.”
(Prophecy regarding the Famine and Drought of the Word of God, In the Last Days):
Amos 8:11-12, “The days are coming—declares the Lord YHVH—When I shall send a famine on the country, not hunger for food, not thirst for water, but famine for hearing YHVH’s word. People will stagger from sea to sea, will wander from the north to the east, searching for YHVH’s word, but will not find it.”
God’s word speaks in prophecy, of the children being taught lies. (Quoted from Amos 8:13):
