Beck Blasts ABC’s Misreporting, Uses Google to Turn Table on Reporter Who Indicted Tea Party

The mainstream media never seems to miss an opportunity to politicize a tragedy in its rush to paint conservatives in a negative light. In this instance, ABC news irreverently used an unverified report in an attempt to tie the Tea Party to the Aurora, CO shooter. The result was that an innocent man by the same name was fingered as the shooter.

Responding to ABC’s Brian Ross and his hair-trigger reporting, Glenn Beck said that the media’s job “is not to go out and speculate.”
“Their job is to report the news not make the news.”
ABC was the “first” to turn this tragedy into a “political potato,” Beck said, and even noted that he wondered in his initial reaction who would be the first to do so. Beck and his crew discussed the level of irresponsibility among journalists and news outlets today and said it is time for irresponsible media to be sued and made an example of.
Even the Huffington Post is blasting ABC for its reporting, which speaks volumes about just how unprofessional the news outlet’s conduct is.
Beck asked what good misinformation does for anyone. “It does none.”
But Beck and his radio team wasn’t done there. They also decided to point out the absurdity of Ross’s actions by doing some Googling and finding crimes in which someone named “Brian Ross” was mentioned. It wasn’t hard, and it made for a revealing segment:

He is being buried in lawyers that want to sue for Defamation of Character. Before this is over we will find out how deep ABC’s and Brian Rosses pockets are. I bet they go for at least $ 10 million and will probably settle out of court for 3 to 5 million $$$.

What Brain Ross did was as bad as what Spike Lee and Roseanne Barr did by putting the address of George Zimmerman’s family on that stupid Tweet site. Ross has been doing this job for 30+ years at least and he of all people should know better, but the government media are vampires. The first whiff of blood and they cannot wait to feed on a story like this by desperately trying to link the alleged shooter to the evil conservative movement. It is what they do. It is what they will continue to do. And we all knew that this was coming. Why didn’t Ross think to connect this guy to OWS? Do a little statistical study,. Last election, 98% of blacks voted for Obama. Blacks committed half the murder in the US last year. Right off, we can already determine that half the killers are liberal and support Obama. Of the whites that commit crime, most come from the welfare system, are into drugs, and rely on the dole out from the federal gov.
If elections were held in our prisons, democrats would clean up, as most criminals lean left.

Ross and crew sat down, typed “tea party” and “James Holmes” and “Colorado” and still nothing. Then they tried “Jim Holmes” and “Tea Party” and they got a hit. As soon as they had it, they grabbed the ball and ran with it. The were looking to tie him to the Tea Party from the start.
Had they typed “James Holmes” into Google, and got anything about OWS, Obama Supporter, Progressive supporter, or anything left leaning, they would have not said a word.

But where is the outrage against Michelle Bachman’s slanderous accusations againt Huma Abedin? Why isn’t Beck commenting on that? Nobody here at least seems concerned about a US Congressman accusing a solid American citizen of treason based only on the fact that her name sounds kinda funny. Yes, the threat is from within, something Rod Serling saw quite clearly when he wrote “The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street” a story, thankfully read by many high school students.

I am not sure. I have heard the saying hate the sin and not the sinner. In the bible God declares his hate for people by name, which is interesting and not often taught. I do not know much about Westboro Baptist Church besides that they seem to be a little crazy. Most of us are a little crazy.
