Beck Breaks Down the ‘Real War on Women’

On his Thursday morning radio broadcast, Glenn Beck and his co-hosts slammed Democratic strategist Hillary Rosen for recent comments she made disparaging Ann Romney.
Despite Democrats’ claims that Republicans are waging an all out “war against women,” the Left’s actions just might dictate otherwise. Yes, after the litany of sexist attacks leveled against Sarah Palin during the 2008 election, once more unto the breach have liberals dared venture — this time disparaging Ann Romney’s choice to stay at home and raise her five sons.
During an appearance Wednesday on Anderson Cooper’s “AC360”, Rosen made the following condescending remarks about Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann:
“His wife has actually never worked a day in her life. She’s never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing in terms of how do we feed our kids, how do we send them to school and how do we . . . why we worry about their future.”
Ann Romney responded with the following tweet:
After additional attempts on the part of Rosen to argue her case both in an op-ed and in the Twittersphere, she made an about face and issued an apology, asking Romney if they, along with the nation, could “put the faux ‘war against stay at home moms’ to rest once and for all.”
Beck condemned Rosen’s elitist attitude and pointed out that it is in fact Democrats who are waging the war against women when they can demean a “strong woman” who stays at home and raises her children in such a way. The liberal establishment is treating women like “morons,” Beck said.

Posted on April 13, 2012 at 9:30amI think what she really meant to say was this: “I HATE you because you’re a rich, straight, conservative” .. that’s more disgusting to them than her being a stay at home mother. The left hates the Romneys because they’re conservatives\republicans; the rich part just adds fuel to their crazy fire.

Did she have to go and work with all her brats? if so, why? or did she escape her home and go into politics and leave other people (nannies to do the “mama” job for her?) as for that harridan that bad mouth Mrs Romney – I have one message for her – “ Hey you with the ugly mouth go creep back into your hole and may God never let his light shine upon you again”.. Posted on April 12, 2012 at 10:55pmI spoke with my mom about this “War on Women.” They report that Democrats are getting most of the women’s vote and my mother said, “They aren‘t getting the women’s vote; they‘re getting the idiots’ vote. Only idiots would believe Democrats’ lies.”
Report Post »We both think the lies and hypocrisies are so obvious that only childlike minds and the people who aren’t paying any attention at all would not be able to see them. Politicians think everyone is stupid; especially Progressive-Liberal politicians and their pet media cheerleaders. “I have tingles up my thigh…” Personally, I think the Liberals have lived in their little elitist bubbles for so long, they’re the ones that are out of touch with reality.
Democrats enjoyed the Majorities in both the Senate and the House for most of the time since 1955. They clearly aren’t improving the economy and every year there seems to be fewer jobs available per capita in America. When were the biggest improvements to the economy since the 60′s? The Reagan years and when Clinton caved in to Gingrich… that’s about it.
I used to open the newspaper and see 10 pages of “Help Wanted Ads.” Today, I live in a city that is about 3 times larger and our newspaper has only one and a half pages of ads almost exclusively looking for doctors and nurses. Anyone could get a job within 2-3 days – today, it’s HORRIBLE… there are no jobs anywhere, college tuition is insanely expensive… everything is worse.

They have progressively broken down the families. We hung on to the old way and I raised my kids at home and have found that most who we‘ve met through the years who didn’t don’t have much family structure and are not very close. They try to break up the closeness when they haven‘t had the same because they don’t understand it and become jealous of it. They can‘t pass it on when they don’t even know what it is to really love your family.

Posted on April 12, 2012 at 7:49pmThere are so many things these Liberal women haven’t thought about. Since they are all tied up with the Communist/Marxist/radical Islam and any US hating nation or group that exists, they feel powerful.
Tell me, Ms. Rosen, how you can support a President who has dismissed this Nation‘s friendships with the allies we’ve had for decades, and chooses only to reach out to – or bow to – world ‘leaders’ who don’t allow women to vote, drive, speak their mind or leave their home without permission and a family escort.
That, Madam, is why this administration is so laughable when they speak of a ‘war on women’. You are supporting an entire administration that turns a blind eye to a father or husband who kills his wife or daughter because they ‘feel’ as though said women betrayed them.
Truth is, Ms. Rosen, it won’t be long before you are praying for Christians. Christians/Jews/Muslims don’t judge you because you have no religion, but they will stand for your right to be free. That is why this administration is trying so hard to eliminate Christianity. Christians keep the civil in civilization and the peace in peaceful and the honor in honorable.
You, Ms. Rosen, are allowing yourself and every other Liberal woman be sold into slavery. You are selling your soul and your mind and your vote because you happen to feel powerful right now. Look around the Middle East and Africa, Ms. Rosen. How many female leaders are there?

Well, no, most Leftists just think women should have the power to CHOOSE what being a “strong women” means for them, and not have that choice DICTATED to them by an individual or institution.
“Beck also…then they are deemed “worthless.”
Again, no, although some personal choices DESERVE less respect than others, MOST Leftists (again, I can’t speak for ALL people who claim to be Leftists) believe the power to MAKE this choice should be minimally restricted, only in cases where two or more peoples’ desired choices are mutually exclusive, and thus rights’ claims are invoked. In general, women as much as men, should be free to live their lives however they want, whether or not WE believe their decisions are the “intelligent” one to make, and/or whether or not they are the same one we would make.
“Ann Romney…women.”

Posted on April 12, 2012 at 7:24pmMost of the stay at home moms in my neighborhood are liberals, and yes they can afford to stay home. Liberals have done more for ALL women than any conservatives ever have. If women can afford to stay home and want to they should. I know of no liberal women who would ever make someone feel guilty for staying home. It is choice some women can make.
However conservatives are missing the point. Romney and republicans do not care about those middle class and working class women who cannot afford to stay home. Right wing Republicans are cutting government funds that benefit both conservative and liberal women and their families, giving tax breaks to the rich. Right wing Republican are tying to take away a woman’s right to abortion. Right wing Republicans are trying to limit women’s access to contraception. And Romney went to the right to get those votes, but he is going to lose the votes of independent, & moderate republican women, along with the and Democrats in the general election.

Posted on April 12, 2012 at 7:37pmIt is not the responsibility of the government to provide subsidies to families that cannot afford a parent to stay home. It is the responsibility of the individual to decide if they can afford to have children let alone a parent staying home. If you cannot afford children, do not have them. If you want to be a stay at home parent, make sure you have the means to do so.

Posted on April 12, 2012 at 11:22pmThe liberal, feminist, Democrats — that I encountered in college ALL expressed to the student population that women should be working outside the home. Having children was degraded and families composed of a married adult male and adult female with children was deemed as oppressive.
Last year a friend sent me a copy of the University of Denver alumni magazine which ran an article about a little boy who has ‘two mommies’. This little boy attends a private, Catholic school and they were making Mother’s Day gifts. One of the mommies went ballistic with the school when the boy came home with only ONE crafted gift for ‘mommie” since the school KNEW that the boy had two mommies. The school had to explain that the boy had been asked to make two mommy gifts and he opted to only craft one. His two mommies live in a duplex and who lives in the other half of the duplex? Why none other than his two daddies ….yes, the sperm donor.
The article continued by stating that the Catholic school tells the boy’s classmates that he is MORE special than all of the other students because…HE has TWO mommies. What a slap in the face to all of the other parents! What an insult to all of the other little children.

Posted on April 12, 2012 at 11:33pmI only wish that the Republicans WERE, in fact, cutting public funds but they are not. They are shoveling out taxpayer funds just like the Democrats.
Here is the absurdity of things. We received our property tax bill. It indicated that X amount of our taxes went to the ‘taxpayer supported public schools in our community”. And then at the bottom of the bill it stated that my bill will would have been $127 HIGHER had the state legislature not contributed to the schools.
Report Post »Wait! Where did the state legislature get that money? Do they have an industry that produces a profit to contribute to my school? No! They collected taxes from the citizensand re-distributed it. The $127 is part of taxes that I have already PAID. That is my money! It is my neighbors’ tax collected money. Don’t try to fool me that the state magically gave our schools $127….those funds were taken from us taxpayers to begin with!

Posted on April 12, 2012 at 7:46pmMen, since the beginning of time have been treating women like a second class citizen. Conservatives indeed promoted this by the whole idea that women should stay home and be house wives; that they have no place in the work environment. This can easily been seen during WWII when women were taking the place of men and kicking their asses in productivity and professional jobs. As a matter of fact, men felt threatened of women, paid them less and attempted to have them removed from the work place — back to the kitchen you GO! In the 50s, this was promoted by Hollywood, and in the 60s it can be seen in the work place hence the term glass ceiling. Strong independent women are indeed a threat to many men.

Posted on April 12, 2012 at 6:28pmThe first attacks on women by Obama and his gang was when Senator Obama was running against Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Surrogates of the Obama campaign referred to women who supported HRC to be racists and or uneducated middle aged women.
Then, Obama surrogates claimed that Geraldine Ferraro was racist.
Finally, Barack Obama referred to his mother’s mother as “a typical white woman”.
Hillary Rosen (of the 1990s Massachusetts Gay Mafia) was part of the HRC campaign for president… supporting HRC “cracking the glass ceiling”. Needless to say, Hillary Rosen switched over to supporting Obama after he was selected by the DNC super delegates; Party-party unity
……ya know!

Posted on April 12, 2012 at 5:36pmThis pathological animus Rosen has towards women who stay home to raise their children makes more sense today after the Democrats came out (pun intended) and announced that Rosen is being attacked because she’s a lesbian (cue victim card). Quite honestly I doubt most of Rosen’s detractors even had an inkling that Rosen was a homosexual. But it makes so much sense now. The traditional family (particularly with a strong and successful father) is anathema to angry lesbians like Rosen. To see a mother stay home and look after her five boys (who she bore naturally as our species intends it) while a successful father “brings home the bacon” is beyond the pale to Rosen. It’s something that must be belittled and devalued by militant homosexuals like Rosen in order to insinuate her vile little agenda on the public. I won’t even include the fact that Ann Romney has had to deal with cancer and MS while raising her five boys. I was putting this down to just another stupid liberal…but it makes so much more sense when it’s confirmed that Rosen is a homosexual. Ann Romney represents everything an angry lesbian liberal like Rosen is against..a traditional family with a nurturing mother who’s a strong, intelligent, conservative woman- a fighting individual facing serious illness- and all the while raising a healthy, well adjusted family while being a wife to a strong and successful husband and father.

Posted on April 12, 2012 at 5:23pmOh, yes, some of those who think they can’t afford not to work…it’s often a matter of choosing whether you HAVE to have a pool table, the latest car model, exquisite furnishings, or a host of other “wants” that you think you have to work to afford rather than live more modestly entertaining and being with your children. Some remember playing Monopoly for hours, picking berries, hanging out clothes, helping mow the yard, and playing at the park. It‘s a matter of choices and some pretend they have to work because they don’t want to spend time with children…they take a lot of time, energy, creativity, and love which requires unselfishness. Yes, some DO have to work and that I understand and am not judging but I find myself thinking what is necessary and what is an excuse to escape what you weren’t emotionally ready to handle?

I thought they were the party for the down and “outters”…oh, yes, that’s only in words, not in real meaningful concern as this points out. I hope more progressives will begin to see what they are really voting for instead of the freedom of life, upward mobility, and to be the master of one’s own ship without condemnation from those who think you must hopscotch through “their rules” to be “somebody.”.
