‘The Beginning of a Global Movement for Freedom for all Mankind’: Glenn Beck Wows Dallas at FreePAC (See Entire Speech)

The American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX, was teeming with small-government, liberty-driven conservatives Thursday evening who gathered to attend FreePAC, an event organized by FreedomWorks and that coincides with Glenn Beck’s Restoring Love event. The powerful line-up of speakers included Texas congressional hopeful Ted Cruz, authors Deneen Borelli and Dana Loesch, and concluded with a compelling keynote speech from Beck himself. Having attended FreePAC, I can only attest to the fact that the crowd went absolutely wild and delivered a tremendous standing ovation as Beck walked out onto the stage.

“This is only day one of Restoring Love!” he exclaimed. “If day number one is this good, wait for day number two!”

The global Tea Party movement “is remarkable,” Beck said, referring to people who came from all over the world to learn from American conservatives.

“These people want freedom so bad and they don’t even know how to get it. ‘These are true heroes and this is the beginning of a global movement for freedom for all mankind!”

Beck then invoked a poem by Rudyard Kipling entitled, “The Gods of the Copybook Headings.” When one reads the poem, the message Beck was trying to make is clear:

AS I PASS through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: ”Stick to the Devil you know.” 

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: ”The Wages of Sin is Death.” 

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all, 
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul; 
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy, 
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: ”If you don’t work you die.” 

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began. 
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire, 
And the burnt Fool’s bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins, 
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn, 
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return! 

“This generation is crying out and waking up,” Beck said after reciting the poem in its entirety. “This is the largest gathering of independent-minded conservatives in American history ever.”

Beck spoke about the 30,000 volunteers who have signed up to participate in a “day of service” for Restoring Love. “It is the largest collection of volunteers doing community service [at once] in America ever,” he added.

Citing the sold-out Dallas Cowboys stadium that will serve as home to Restoring Love, Beck then jested, “I hear there’s a few people coming to the stadium on Saturday as well!”

The energy was palpable and it was clear to see that the audience was swelling with both pride and enthusiasm.

Responding to critics of the Tea Party and conservatives by and large, Beck reminded the crowd that they have “already won” and that if they simply “stick together and ”never engage in hate” then the media, progressives and the liberal establishment will have been proven wrong.

“Everything they say about us is a lie,“ he exclaimed before explaining that they are not ”our enemies“ but rather ”enemies of [God] and man’s freedom.”

“They will destroy themselves. Just give everyone a square deal, be honest…don’t dishonor yourself and serve your fellow man.”

Explaining how we are all witnessing something that only happens every so often, Beck said that “the progressives have woken the sleeping giant again.”

“America is good and America is still good,” he boomed to a standing ovation.

    You can say what you want about Glenn Beck but he‘s been right on so many subjects it’s scary. He said to be prepared not just for yourself but to assist others, which is exactly what I had to do today out of the blue. Needless to say I was glad to help. I think the overall message is that it isn’t about Obama or Romney, or even Glenn Beck – it’s about us helping each other and doing the right thing.
    One question I would ask the haters out there – what positive things have you said or done today?

      Well, fr0thing… as a Constitutional Libertarian Tea Partier who’s had much of his tea party CO-OPTED, NEUTERED, DE-CLAWED and DE-FANGED by the LEFTIST GOP, I don’t consider myself a “hater,” but a DEFENDER. And I’ve adjusted much of my leisure time over the last few months to SPREAD TRUTH and EXPOSE LIES.

      TRUTH:
      “it’s about us helping each other and doing the right thing” IS PURE GIBBERISH! I’m sure a quick Youtube search would reveal Obama SAYING THE SAME THING! Or Mao or Stalin. WHAT WE NEED, is a restoration of Constitutional LAW AND LIBERTY. Everything else will fall into place. This restoration can begin BY NOMINATING RON PAUL in Tampa. There is NO REASON we cannot do this. NONE! Just imagine if Glenn Beck would explain to the countless eyes upon him, RON PAUL CAN BE OUR NATIONAL GUIDE! He can disinfect the INFECTION OF Central Government Planning we suffer under. THAT… would be “helping each other and doing the right thing!”

      I have no problem with pretty words. However pretty words are what Beck chooses to speak. I choose to speak HARSH words. HARSH OF ALL OF THE AMERICAN PUBLIC. So stated Thomas Jefferson;

      “God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ”

      If you TRULY dont know what this means I suggest that you do a little research into some of the greatest words of wisdom of all time.

      People, Governments, Politicians, Movie Stars, would have us believe today that if we as American citizens gave up our rights that GOD gave us that somehow everything would be better.

      Personally I live today because I carried a 9MM. A drug addict/dealer put a 38 to my head, I put my 9 to his balls and told him that I wanted him to live, FOR 50 YEARS WITH NO BALLS. He RAN. hE HAD A loaded 38 TO MY head. I turly would have blown his balls off. I wasnt kidding. I honestly would have never thought twice about it. And I wouldnt have called the police on him. I would have allowed him to live castrated for as long as GOD wanted him to live. He really didnt want to live without any balls though, so he gave in. My brain or his balls. If my brain went I deffinetly wasnt worried about my balls afterwards hahahahaha. What made the difference? Well I just dont give F***. Honestly I dont. After you have pushed your wife into the creamatory personally, SERIOUSLY NO BS, I personally pushed my wife into the crematory. I helped carry her downstairs. I helped remove the casket lid because she was deathly affraid of being in a closed casket. I personally pushed her into the crematorium, watched as the closed the door and pushed the button that turned her into ashes. What does ANY of this have to do with ANYTHING? WELL LETS SAY THAT YOU CANT HURT ME AND I DONT PLAY. Thats the nicest way I can say it. I CANNOT BE HURT. PERIOD.

      REVOLTING, DISGUSTING, UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING GLENN????
      I sat down first thing this morning and came to this website to discover what happened last night. I am greeted with a picture of Glenn (from behind) on the stage. Overhead, on either side of the jumbotron, are banners with stars. And the artwork is EXACTLY the same type as is on Obama’s hope and change logo. WTHeck – Beck were you thinking????????????? The artwork is so similar you may be in violation of copyright laws. OMG, and you talk about Obama’s artwork with the campaign theme “Forward” looking Marxist/Lenninist/Communist?????????

      Some of us has spend untold amount of time for over twenty years to restore the constitution, and are disappointed that Glenn and Freedom works jumped in front of the parade and are trying to steer it away from talking about Ending The Fed, which lies at the root of our run away spending. I am also extremely dissepointed that he also is stabbing the people in the back who has worked for years to bring about an awareness of the Fed, and the New World Order.

      One positive thing I’ve done today is not go to see Glenn Beck.

      He looks higher than a kite there. Too bad he can’t spend his fortune on drugs and women, as he would have liked to when he was a poor addict. Now that he’s a rich addict he has to get his buzz some other way.

      FROTHING, I know about Glenn Beck. I know he’s been right on so many subjects its scary. I was one of his biggest fans. I bought all of his books except the last one. I watched every episode he had on FOX. I was a GBTV subscriber for 6 months. That is right about the time Glenn dumped the fight for Freedom and Liberty to join with progressives. He then started the Blaze, hired a bunch of liberal editors and here we are. He threw Ron Paul the only true constitutionalist under the bus to back a progressive candidate. If you watched Glenn for any real length of time you would know Glenn practically brought the arugument regrading progressives to the table. He described to his old fans how progressivism is destroying our country, and would tell us to constantly be on the lookout for them in the GOP. He has done a complete 180 since then and is now supporting progressives. All of you current Beck fanatics will eventually come around to the same conclusion I did. The next time you hear him contradict himself do some critical thinking and pick apart the situation. You will see.

      When Obama was voted in everyone was afraid of having a progressive like him as president. Now that we have found out the truth we all know he is an outright commie. So now we the sheeple have no problem voting for a progressive to get rid of the commie. “Played like a fiddle.”

      You all know your candidate is a progressive who created Romneycare. You all know your candidate is a progressive who will and already has hampered your second amendment rights. You all know your candidate is going to create a nice Republican amnesty for illegals. You all know your candidate is the front runner only because he is backed by the progressive GOP establishment politicians. Hmmm, what does that make you?

      Stop being mad at Ron Paul supporters who have principals and a state of mind that will not allow them to vote in favor of the corruption that is tearing this country apart. Progressivism.

      Your real anger comes from the fact that you know your candidate, even though he is a Republican will expand the role of this ever increasing government bureaucracy.

      Isthereadifference- I honestly don‘t know what you are talking about I’ve watched Glenn for a while now too and there doesnt seem to be any indication that he switched to progressivism. Just look at the clip above us Pro-freedom, Pro- USA, Pro-constitution. I don’t understnad why in the world he would switch to progressvism if he has been saying for a long time that it is the poision from society. Even if he did change what could possibly be good about the switch? He would alienate his followers and the progressives would still hate him. I mean even if it was just all about the money, it would be the worst business move in the history of mankind, he would go from hero to zero and lose every single follower along with all his money. What could possibly be in it for progressivism now? I mean really really really think about you are saying. He would also be destroying his own beliefs and destroy his reputation. We are the strongest country in the world, our military is so strong that our Navy alone could handle a war with the entire world. Why should we be so afraid of a third world country, the second largest producer of oil, that does not even have the technology to refine enough gasoline for their population?       West Coast Patriot- hurling insults nice way to start off a conversation. Keep it up. Congrats. Insults are so refreshing I just never hear enough of them.
      I will say it again. Paul is a good constitutionalist libertarian, Glenn and I respect him in that category but he falls short on key areas that in my view account for electability. Notably, Iran. He has stated we should just leave them alone which is the stupidest idea in the world. Look at Beck’s videos and how A-jad thinks he can wipe out jews and bring in the end of times. Israel is our ally and biblically speaking it is wise to keep them on our side. Any evidence our government wants other people oil? We have so much oil here it is laughable, we don‘t need anyone else’s oil so the whole oil argument has run its course and has gotten old. Lastly, another reason why me and I believe Beck as well doesnt support Paul is because he has never been much of a faith person. And recently, Beck has been focusing on uniting faith groups and I really don’t believe he saw Paul as someone faith groups could rally around. There would have been a lot more pushback if he had which is why he chose Santorum a Christian conservative. It makes sense. All his moves make sense you just need to fit the pieces together and not get sore that he did not support Paul. He has a bigger picture here I believe.

      DLV, I just do not see that insult that you are talking about. What, sand in your eyes is an insult? My purpose here is to wake up people like I have been woke up. Believe me, I had the same sand in my eyes for years. Am I now insulting myself?
      The U.S. going after Iran is akin to an 8th grader going after a 1st grader to beat them up. Israel has the fourth strongest military in the world, behind the U.S., Russia and China. Israel does not want our help, they have not asked for our help, to do so would be against our own Constitution, but that does not matter to you? You feel this way because you have allowed the establishment to build fear inside of you. One thing that Roosevelt was right on was this quote: “You have nothing to fear, but fear itself.” All of us should heed these words today.

IF you can’t find anything good to say about THIS MAGNIFICENT night in Dallas, with the inspiring speeches, the palatable ENERGY and the people from 20 (TWENTY) other Nations trying to learn what TEA PARTY means, then get the hell out of here and take your pontificating with you.
      TAKE A BREAK from your concern over what our FATHER thinks…you and I don’t know for sure. WE know we must trust, surrender and obey. GLENN WAS GREAT… THEY WERE ALL GREAT…I can’t wait to see what works get accomplished tomorrow!! Stupendous!!! SO PROUD OF OUR PATRIOTS!! IF there is anyone who did not see the program, you’d be happy when you can. It’s worth every penny, cut back somewhere else but under $10 a month is a tiny price to pay for the education, the inspiration and knowing that you are helping SAVE AMERICA! What will really make your heart sing is seeing all these thousands of people from every state in our Union there and supportive of our Constitution. WE have a fight on our hands, but THANK GOD we have the warriors to do it! THANK YOU GLENN and ALL with you. EXCELLENCE is YOURS !

      Unfortunate that Glenn interpreted this Kipling poem exactly wrong. No matter.

      No, I wasn’t at this event. Hardly. Glenn is the master 21st century Father Coughlin, a charlatan making money off of your fears and hatreds. At these events he steers clear of the offensive divisive and paranoid language that he uses on his radio show and his pay-per-view show.

      But his real view? Glenn has demonized virtually every group, every human being on the face of the planet and convinced you they are out to get you. The Chinese, the Russians? They’re out to get you. Muslims, 20% of the world’s population? Yeah they want to kill you, all of ‘em. Europeans are all communists and want to destroy America. Christians who are liberals, yeah, they want to destroy the world and hate America besides. Any prominent or influential Jew, like Piven, Alynsky or Soros, they want to destroy America.

      The liberals are, according to Glenn, about to put you in a concentration camp.

      Yeah, have fun at this event. But don’t forget about all the people who are trying to destroy America! Don’t let go of your hatred!

      Your anger is revealing, PATTY HENRY. I suspect you KNOW I speak truth. The 20 other nations are being as misled as our own, by this roster of REPUBLICANS (who have a talent for calling themselves anything but). I’m VERY, VERY concerned with what our Father thinks. Especially with a democrat/republican run nation that seems more inclined to wring it’s fist at Him, that fold it’s hand.

      True, we are told to trust, surrender and obey. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT DRIVES ME TO SUPPORT CONSTITUTIONALISTS… NO MATTER THE COST! NO MATTER THE COST! I will NEVER, EVER REJECT MY FAITH for a “better evil.” That garden YIELDS NOTHING but twisted, brittle, FRUITLESS vines. And it’s just not worth… $10 a month.

      Again, I urge folks to calm the association of God with “better evil” republicans. Seems God’s guidance would be better reflected in a faithful rejection of ANY evil.

      @maverick4harlot suggests that none of us are willing stand up and FORCE this government to do what is right. I would suggest that he couldn’t be farther from the truth, though I will admit that no one would do so alone, and therein lies the problem. Long before the Tea Party rallies, I wrote to Glenn to ask him to lead us into Washington. The Tea Party developed, but sadly, he remained a soldier instead of taking command. That may have been our best hope to stop the insanity of government of the politicians, by the politicians and for the politicians. Like so many, I suspect that Ron Paul’s message is right, but he too does not seem to truly want to be in command of what would have to follow.

      Maverik, There are many in the Liberty movement that are willing to sacrifice for liberty, it is apparent in all they do and all the bashing they put up with, all the tireless hours doing the groundwork to keep Ron Paul on the ticket. It has been a rough road, but their faith in Liberty will never be extinguished.

      Kevin, If Ron Paul did not have the desire to lead our country out of the progressive darkness, he would have given up a long time ago. He continues, even though he is blacklisted, blacked out of the media, scorned by the establishment, ridiculed for his ideas of liberty, yet he is still there. He will have his name placed onto the ballot for nomination against all the odds. Do not discount him so easily.

    @THE-MONK, sorry about the reach, but the reply button wasn’t there, As for the mileage question, I did specify “roundtrip” I did take a side venture to see my big sister in Missouri on the way home. As for whether I be a “troll”? Far from it, I was serious when I stated that I am an original “Insider Extreme Member” from nearly day one. If not for Glenn and the work he’s done? I believe a good portion of the country would still be asleep. I was venting because of frustration at missing out on the show tonight and was not happy about it. I am an original GBTV Plus member from day one, grandfathered in at a 6 month rate of $44.00 I’m sure they get the glitches fixed, but with so little decent viewing on the tube, I really enjoy my GBTV!       You really need to learn how to use the correct “reply” button.

      OK, you only said you drove 5000 miles and not round trip. I make mistakes too, so lets start over.

      About the tickets. Glenn asked over and over for people that could not make it to turn the tickets back in so they could be re-sold to someone else who wanted to go. This is what happened; A lot of people bought the tickets and that held a seat for them. All the tickets sold out but a lot of people did not “confirm” they were coming when that time came. So Glenn asked people to turn in those tickets (and get a refund) so others could come.

      Every ticket that was not turned back in still held that seat “non-available for resale or use”. There are empty seats that will not be filled because ticket master still shows someone coming. Your seat(s) will remain empty. It was a software glitch I think and I e-mailed the support people about it 3 weeks ago.

      I’m sorry you could not go but, Glenn did not re-sell your ticket for any amount because you never turned it back in. I’m confident the “glitches” with the video will be fixed.

    Yes yes, because we all know what an immaculate source of information Alex Jones is. I’m aware Glenn Beck said the things in those videos, however you can edit videos to make people seem like they mean anything. Were you actually familiar with Glenn Beck, you would know that he has devoted entire segments to pointing out the scam that is the Fed.

    I am no one’s drone and have at different points in my life followed Alex Jones and Glenn Beck. Let me tell you, Mr. Beck is one of those rare individuals who doesn’t just talk the talk, he walks the walk.

    Alex Jones has spent so much time drawing links (legitimate and otherwise) between different facts and states that he has become a personification of paranoia. Basically, anyone who disagrees with the smallest thing the man says or has a different way of going about rescuing this country must be working for the Builderberg Group or one of its iterations, or has be bought out by said people.

      Anyway, I am happy to hear that you have checked out other sources such as Alex Jones, and I do agree with you that he does stretch when it comes to piecing things together. Nevertheless; he has broken more stories 5 + years before anybody dares to touch them, and at times when I hear something that sounds outrages, I find out that he has the sources to back it up, or I get it confirmed elsewhere.

      Had he delivered his stories in a well produced way such as Glenn Beck, he would have been killed 10+ years ago. He is still alive because of his personality, and the fact that he does have some fringe guests on, and that he is only on the internet, and used to have a smaller audience, and was written off by many including myself as a “conspiracy theorist”..

      Later I did change my view as I would hear what he said years ago as truth from multiple other sources. Alex Jones did warn that there would be an attack on the World Trade Center in July of 2001. He has been doing real investigative work for 20 years.

      Now if Alex Jones was killed, his movies, and stories would grow wings and become main stream, so now the best that can be done is to call him crazy to discourage people to look into what he has said for themselves.

I was in DC on September 12th 2009 and witnessed close to a million patriots gather there and I was a WITNESS to FreedomWorks hijacking the event as if they had organized it. They got the crowd to chant “freedom works” over and over and people did not realize it was the name of the organization that hijacked an ORGANIC tea party gathering – there was no leader and FreedomWorks was not the organizer – it was various tea party groups – tea party express etc – who organized things. Then FreedomWorks swooped in and branded it as their own. I am sure they spent some of their gobs of money to make it nice but I owe NO ALLEGIENCE to Dick Armey or FreedomWorks. He is a GOP HACK. He ignores illegal immigration for one big glaring problem I have with him and his org.

      Listen: We all do appreciate the work he has done on TV, but he is deviating from where he were. To stand up to the liberal media and the Democrats and Socialist, is one thing, and hundreds if not a thousand radio host, and writers do that every day. But standing up to the powers behind the scene, there are few that dare. Lou Dobbs did for a while until they scared him into silence. Judge Napolitano did some great work over at Fox, until they pulled his show, and the impact of his voice as greatly diminished, Alex Jones is the most successful one that is still alive. And usually after 5-10 years when it becomes safe, then others will pick up his stories. Glenn Beck before he left Fox, was on the right track and did a great job, exposing the real American history, especially Woodrow Wilson and the Roosevelt’s. The fact is that the biggest damage done by Woodrow Wilson, was the creation of the FED, and Glenn did report on it. He even had G. Edward Griffin on the show.. It was not long after that when Glenn was threatened and looked like he had seen a ghost! So now he is trying to get the message out while answering to the requests of the New World Order forces. Do you honestly think Glenn would stop exposing progressives just because of threats? No. He has stated repeatedly he won’t back down. I loved him on Fox too. I don’t know if Fox fired him or he left on his own accord but he continues to fight the good fight (in the words of three Dog hahaha). Again above I explain why it would make no sense if Glenn abandoned his stance. As for why he doesn’t continue to talk about what he did on Fox, it’s a new phase for him. Every year, that went by on Fox he was talking baout the stage of development he is in. He is past what he has said on Fox because well he has already said it and now he is in the action phase of his message. He has exposed them. Now what is he going to do about? This is what he is going to do about the restoring love rallies etc. Get my point? As for the white as a ghost thing…. You do realize Glenn has had several surgies has had serious health problems in the past, don’t you think its just possible that it could be about his health? Come on now. I personally see very little if any personal belief change in Glenn and continues to say as he did before on progressives. No, he isn’t using the same approach as he did on Fox but I get his daily newsletter and it is CONSTANTLY spouting off against progressives. See what I mean?

      I do see what you mean, and thank you for articulating your view. Let me clarify a couple of things as I think you misunderstand me. I don’t think that Glenn Beck is a progressive as Woodrow Wilson, Bush, McCain etc.. You might have gotten that impression of others here, but you should not have gotten that from me. My post tend to be long because I want to be as clear as possible. Unfortunately some don’t read any post more than three lines, and draw a conclusion and call me a liberal, and so on. I bet that 97% of all that post here are conservatives that are/ were inspired by Glenn Beck and exited when he left Fox and went out and started GBTV. This way he could avoid the politics, and restraints that were put on him…

      So let me get to the problems I have with Glenn Beck:

      1. He did change. (more on this in the next post) He stopped supporting Ron Paul, and took the focus of the FED which is the main culprit for the spending of both parties.

      2. He not only changed but he never did go into detail as to why, nor did he share it to the likes of me so I too can see the folly of my ways, which he would have done had it been backed by facts/ logic / history. Which is why there is so much speculation from many of us here as to what happened?

      3. He has copied Alex Jones for years, just lifted his stories, invited his guests etc. see video links above. More on this in the next post…

      1. He changed. I do respect your opinion, that you don’t think that he changed in any major way. I do think that what appears to be “minor” changes to you are not “minor”. Please do look at the videos, and know that I don’t post this posts out of vendetta towards Glenn or whatever. It is that everybody should be held responsible including Glenn Beck when he is wrong. From what I have gotten to see from Glenn Beck, I would expect him to pull up his chalk board and show us why exactly Ron Paul is wrong instead of resulting to CNN / MSNBC style name calling tactics, when explaining why we should not vote for Ron Paul. Then he should have the guts to have a debate, and not just do a short segment like an advertisement. It is like Ron Paul had the “Red Phone” that Glenn Beck used to have on the set for the Obama administration to call. The silence that Glenn Beck got from the Obama administration, Glenn Beck gave to the Ron Paul campaign, and to us, that want to fully understand his reasoning as to why the change. But what do we get?? SILENCE. Just like the Obama administration gave Glenn Beck. The same treatment was given to Alex Jones, never mind that Glenn used his material for years, and it helped build up Glenn Beck’s carrier.
      After what Glenn Preaches we expect more from him and feel like he takes us for fools, when we get the treatment we always got from the liberal media… No debate, only ridicule…

      We are passionate and many of us has spend years studying, reading, and pondering to develop our world view. In that course I have changed over time, as I read more history, heard sounder logic etc.. On some issues, even though I heard the logic, saw the facts… it still took some time to sink in while pondering the issues before I changed my mind. I used to be more of a Neocon, and slightly progressive, but as I heard great arguments against, many of them that I later heard Glenn express eloquently, that coupled with the daily realization that the government does not seem to do ANYTHING WELL. They only thing they seem to do well are the things we don’t yet understand, or know about.. Well you might say we have a great military and that works well! Then let me clarify that by well I also mean somewhat efficient. 900 bases around the world cannot be efficient. The Pentagon could not account for almost a trillion dollars, as stated by Rumsfeld! But I will admit that we do have great weapons and brave and committed service men in the military. This was a long winded way to say that I like the other grumblers here, would like to see facts when Glenn change direction. If we are wrong we want to know why, and not just come here and face a bunch of sheep calling us name for raising questions…

      Let me get to the reason I speculate that Glenn Beck has been threatened. First of all I did not know about his health problems and pray that he is OK.

      Being that Glenn Beck results to name call Alex Jones, Ron Paul, and anybody that questions the Bilderbergers as nuts, without given us sound reasoning as to why, and has been to afraid to confront them and thoroughly discuss those issues. That coupled with the fact that others who do talk about what Alex Jones talks about, supports Ron Paul, like Andrew Napolitano had his show pulled, only to be replaced by reruns of other lame shows, while Napolitano’s show was wildly popular should make you wonder why. Others have joked on air, when speaking about Ron Paul they would refer to him as “The candidate who‘s name we can’t mention” WestCoast posted a link showing how other nations have noticed the Ron Paul Blackout. Fox News in March announced that they would no longer follow Ron Paul campaigns, despite him drawing crowds of 16,000, he drew 4000 in the pouring rain in Philadelphia and on and on. While giving ample time on Mitt Romney and so on. The Black Out we saw will be a movie one day, I hope the ending will have Ron Paul as president, and not have it be like the movie Tucker, the automotive company put out of business by corportism. The same blackout and treatment from all the main stream media we started seeing from Glenn Beck last year, and without a satisfactory explanation….

      First off I never knew he overtly ever supported Paul, if he did fine I just didn’t know. As I said to IsreadtheDifference, just because one is a conservative and loves the tea party, freedom, liberty etc doesn’t mean they have to love Paul. Obviously, Paul is a strict constitutionalist which is great. I respect his libertarian leanings, but to me his foreign policy is just god-awful and with Iran becoming a bigger htreat by the day I want a president that has balls to deal with them and not just let them have their nukes. That was my biggest issue with Paul. As for the FED I don’t know where you are getting this about Beck. Within the last year, I believe it was when Perry was still in the race, the FED being a fraud, scam being like Bernie Madoff was brought up and guess what Glenn was on the front lines promoting the unpopular idea that the FED was a ponzi scheme. I’m not lying I remember listening to him on his daily radio show defending whoever it was that was calling the Fed a scam.

      Can you please explain how he changed? I’ve been watching Glenn for years and have seen very little if any change. If you’re talking about him supporting Romney who he has pointed out is a progressive-lite, he has explained the reason and that is because he knows Paul won’t win the Repub nomination, every time he runs and gets very little support, which I agree is unfortunate, but realistically it’s either Romney or Obama and we all know four more years of Obama is unacceptable. Thus, even though Glenn didn‘t like it and doesn’t overtly like Romney, he has to accept him because of the situation. Also, if we conservatives help Romney win, he has to b eheld accountable to us. DEMAND if need be! We cannot let another progressive-lite just run away with the presidency, REMIND him who voted him in! Glenn has been all about this even on GBTV. He has a natural distrust of ALL POLTICIANS and for good reason. I have yet to see any shred of change from him. People even said he supports globalist ideas now? Since when? On his email he is CONSTANTLY arguing against globalist ideas.

      Even if this is true. Is this really an issue? You know the old saying imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
      Look, I’ll say this, we may not agree with everything Glenn has to say but we have to unite around the central core aspects on what we believe in and Glenn has done that and a huge amount of work to turn America around. He has been selfless in doing so. I don’t think that just because you and I disagree with a few recent things he says that we now need throw him under a bus. He is done plenty to help this country and turn it around and I just find it said when fellow conservatives have to rip him down. That just seems petty to me. If he had turned progressive that’s one thing, but he isn’t not even close.

If what you say about Glenn is true then fine we should hold him accountable again that doesn’t justify throwing him under the bus. If he has resorted to name calling instead of fact checking then call him out on it. We are all human and we make mistakes and I’m sure stupid people annoy him endlessly as they do for me. Again, I get his daily newsletters and listen to him on radio and he seems like the same old Glenn preaching against progressives. I would really like to see those videos where Glenn says questionable things. Links? Remember h phases I talked about him not talking about certain things could easily attribute to that. What you should really do however to get answers from him is try to get in contact with him or his staff yourself and get some answers. Obviously if Beck is changing the best person to tell you is himself. So far though until I see evidence of this great change I’m sticking by Glenn he has never been one to shut up in the case of threats. In fact, when he didn’t like a place , New York, he moved to Texas. Also, if this is really a big conspiracy against Freedom loving people why did it take Fox so long to take take him off the air? Also why does fox keeping taking off these right people? Fox has nver cared for liberal threats in the past why start now? These are questions you have to ask before thorwing Beck under the Bus.

      Lastly, I have on theory on why Beck may have retracted support from Paul if ever did support Paul. Here it is. Paul has never been overtly fond of the Christian religion. Originally, Glenn started off as more of a strict libertarian but over time and especially now he has been trying to unite faith groups in America since they have been coming under attack from the Obama admin. Glenn may have realized that while Paul is a good libertarian he is not the rallying force that faith groups can rally around. If he did try to have faith groups rally around Paul I think there would have been a good deal of pushback and Glenn would have lost a lot of support. Now I agree Romney wasn’t really that man which is why Glenn originally supported Santorum, a Christian conservative. If you just connect the puzzle pieces it makes hell of a lot more sense.

      Thank you for your thorough explanation of your view and for this dialog. I do appreciate it. Firs of all I will start with your last point about Ron Paul not being a Christian! I don’t know where you got that from, because he is. You must not have read his book R3volution. He walks the walk. He has an impeccable record of consistency, and no other politician will tell you what they think without first taking a poll, and they all have mastered the art of not answering questions when asked. Ron Paul is an open book, and is ready to talk about any issue that one might disagree with. Being he is not the best debater, in that he is not good at delivering one liners, and playing the crowd, like many politicians. Unlike Santorum, that has a spotty record at best, and supported many big government bills, and admitted it was the political expedient thing to do at the time. Glenn Beck had no problem in putting his support behind him. It is as though Character and Honesty is discounted in this time that we live in. Here are the links I posted before:

He speaks the truth, these dumb links that you post are just chopped up clips that make it seem like he is saying things that he has not. Do you work for the Obama campaign? Beck stands for God and for Isreal, which is why he doesn’t support Ron Paul. Ron Paul is not a God fearing man, he doesn’t support Isreal. But not only, has he not explained his sudden Ron Paul blacklisting, and his change in direction from talking about the Fed etc.. The comment section here is heavily edited, and my comments are removed or held for 8+ hrs, and sometimes they are buried and not posted where I post them.
      I would appreciate if you looked at the videos, and told me specifically what the lies where, so I could be corrected. Instead you like The Blaze act like liberal democrats that result to name calling, since their logic is lacking.       The fact is that Ron Paul was one of the only Congressman that stood up for Israel in congress after they had bombed Iran. This was in the 80s when even Reagan did not support Israels bombing. Ron Paul’s reasoning was that, It is not the USA’s business to tell Israel how to look after their own security, and manage it. In fact Israel does not have a TSA, nor does it have any hi-jacking.

      Yes, we help Israel with money as we do all the Muslim regimes around them, so if we stopped all foreign aid, Israel would be better off. Israel has real backbone, and 70+ nukes, and they are more than capable to take care of themselves.

      What Ron Paul points out is historical facts that shows the folly of our foreign policy.
      1. We overthrew a democratically elected president of Iran in the 50′s and installed a monarch!!!! Since he would do as we said. He was a tyrant, and he gave rise to the Khomaniac!!
      2. They we train Saddam and arm him to the teeth to make war with Iran.
      3. We arm Osama and the Afghans to give hell to the Russians
      4. We give a not to Iraq when it became apparent they wanted to invade Kuwait, and when they do our CIA testified as a Kuwaiti nurse making up lies that babies were ripped out of incubators

      Go look at our history in Panama, by Roosevelt and how we started a revolution there, or how we told Japan to take over Korea a hundred years ago. The list goes on, and on, and you would know if you read history

      My comments keep getting removed by The Blaze. If The Blaze would let the comments they don’t agree with be posted and stay posted, there would not be so much animosity from those of us that are continually censored.

    SPEAK MY MIND? Do you really want me to do that? Okay then, I mean with the complete inability to fix whatever glitches or technical difficulties GBTV is experiencing, I have considerable doubts that I will be able to watch let alone enjoy the “Restoring Love” event this weekend, I can’t even access archived shows. I had purchased tickets the day they went on sale but am unable to attend in person and as far as I know Ticket Master resold them for double and I lose out on that as well. Too say that I’m a little miffed right now is an understatement! As someone who is often referred to as someone “helping to build GBTV” and as an original “Insider Extreme Member” SINCE DAY ONE, I am sorely disappointed and more than a bit P.O’d! I drove over 5,000 miles and was at “Restoring Honor” and would have loved to be in Israel for “Restoring Courage”, but right now I’m not feeling any honor from the tech support nor GBTV as a whole, and that does not leave me feeling confident or honorable, rather, it leaves me sad and dishonored. As it stands right now? I have no idea if these “technical difficulties” will be remedied or not? And that is what’s on my mind!

      Unwavering idealism and impatience such as yours can only lead to disappointment in the entire world. This is a stepped process of recalling our country’s freedom and if there has to be a Romney along the way then so be it. It’s better than the continuation of this dangerous farce of an administration. But to think of Santorum as a liberal? That’s just jackassery. It the type of attitude in your post that limits the libertarian party to such small numbers and it really is a shame.

      Santorum pro NDAA, Patriot Act, enhanced interrogation, foreign aid and raising the debt celling every time its up for a vote! Not to mention doubling the size of the Department of Education and expanding entitlements like Medicare. Mr goes along to get along Santorum would love to take us into more wars and have the Govt legislate morality.
      Let me ask you this B what makes Santorum a conservative? Because Fox, Beck and Hannity tell you he is?
      Ha he is less progressive than Romney ill give you that but neither can hold a candle to the true conservative/constitutionalist Ron Paul. But we get the Govt we deserve and we sure as hell dont deserve the great constitutional scholar Paul, because of morons like you we deserve Romney and Santorum big govt religious zealots.

      As a GBTV subscriber – NOT a liberal – I agree with you Brother Winston. The only candidate for President who is consistent with our Founding Fathers was Ron Paul. Mitt Romney is Bush Light – I voted for Bush Jr twice and by the end of his second term I was VERY sorry that I had. He locked up two border patrol agents and that was wrong!! We don’t have a two party system any longer – they are all part of the same party – the globalist party.
