Beck Builds His Own ‘Oval Office’ — And Here’s Why

No, Glenn Beck is not running for president. But he will be delivering speeches from the Oval Office. Well, sort of.
Over the weekend, we brought you behind-the-scenes pictures of Beck sitting in what appeared to be the most famous office space in the world:
And now we can tell you why: Beck has built a massive, Oval Office replica in his Dallas, TX studios as part of a new segment he’ll be delivering on his GBTV show.
The segment will feature “the things we wish the President would say to the American people – or the things he should say.” As Beck’s team puts it, “The speeches will be three to four minutes in length, will be delivered from an exact replica of The Oval and will be primarily Reagan-esque in tone.”
You can see the first speech on Wednesday. Beck will have more details Monday night on GBTV at 5pm ET.

Posted on April 9, 2012 at 3:13pmI’m not so sure! Glenn has shown himself to be highly offended when he Poser-in-Chief places his feet on the resolute desk, but doesn’t posing on a makeshift Oval Office demean the office? What if we all made oval office replicas in our schools or institutions, just so we could make a point when we wanted to be heard? Speak from an oval office replica…get noticed….but at the same time turn the real thing into something common, lacking any status.
This could backfire!

There are Atheists in foxholes, I was one of them. I can tell you first hand and personal, when bullets are flying I did not pray to your God. I shot back at the enemy and neutralized the threat. You have no idea how many atheists surround you in your neighborhood, workplace, battlefield, and occasionally in your pews. A lot of us don’t “come out” because of the stigma theists assign to atheists and our children. But they don’t believe, although many pretend they do. But I find your statement, “We don‘t believe in gods for exactly the same reason that you don’t believe 2+2=5.”, is just as ridiculous. Because you have distanced yourself from God does not mean that others have as well. I know from personal experience that God does exist. If you believe me or not it does not matter to me. To me it is like teaching you that 2+2=4 and you will not believe it. I have experienced the equation that God has put forth to get to know him on a daily basis and I have a good relationship with Him. You can as well, but you are not willing to follow His equation, you want to follow your own.

It is actually POG or People Other than Grunts. My point being, that they aren’t the same guy for various service connected reasons. I was a grunt. I believe in God, and I do pray under stress, however, I strongly disagree with organized religion. Too many bad experiences in the church led me to believe that a majority of church people are their for social status and mingling. They had their cliques, and if you asked questions about their doctrine, they outcasted you. I can understand why so many people choose atheism over theism with the “christian” attitudes I have been subjected to.

Sir, I thank you for your service ! I also thank you for your ‘common sense’ which, in today’s world, is probably the least common asset to be found in comments on either the left of the right.
As a child growing up in German Occupied Europe I helped bury (with dignity) military men who washed up on our beaches. Yes, the allies AND the enemy! They were ALL fighting for their own country – even while those countries disagreed with each other. As soldiers they ALL deserved the respect which we children could give them – and to this day – the school island’s children STILL take care of that cemetary, even though most of the bodies have been repatriated to their respective countries.
I even married a man of German decent and I really don’t believe that makes me a bad person.
My good wishes to you Sir – and to your family and all those around you. And as an avowed Atheist, I hope and wish that this old world can eventually find peace within itself.

What does racism have to do with a birth certificate? I could make an entirely sound argument on the Eligibility Clause without even requiring him present the BC.
Obama, although born in the United States, was also (according to British law) a British subject and therefore enjoyed a dual nationality and owed a double allegiance. Now if, by any possible construction, a person at the instant of birth, and for any period of time thereafter, owes, or may owe, allegiance to any sovereign but the United States, he is not a ‘natural-born’ citizen of the United States.
Q 1: is my sound argument valid? I’d hope so, since I literally copy-and-pasted it from an argument made by the Wilson campaign against his opponent, Charles Evans Hughes.
Q 2: Does mine hold water? Yes.
Q 3: Does the Birth Certificate argument hold water? Only as much as it did when it was used against (white guy) Christopher Schürmann in 1896.
Q 3: Is it racist? Being that the eligibility of Chester A. Arthur, Schürmann, Hughes, Barry Goldwater, George Romney, Lowell Weicker, Róger Calero, and John McCain were all challenged and with the exception of the GD Nicaragua-born Socialist who was really inelligible, they were all white.
Interesting side note: 3 of the people whose eligibility was questioned were Socialists: Schürmann, Calero, and of course, Obama.

It’s almost… *almost* like you guys don’t like Conservatives calling your candidates into question, but you think it’s entirely okay to question Republicans. To quote Beck, “What’s the matter… you don;t like us touching your stuff?”
Bottom line: both arguments made against Obama’s eligibility are valid today against a mulatto man if they were back then against white men. Since Obama’s eligibility never see the sunshine afforded by a court proceeding, we‘ll never know and it’s likely you’d never want it to go that far anyway- for fear that it turns out to be valid and it DQ’s his presidency. So just remember this: as long as you don‘t think it’s important enough to give full sunlight to the facts surrounding court cases, you have no right to b!tch that George Zimmerman won’t have a day in court.
Afterall, full light of day to each case would help to resolve lingering questions, wouldn’t it?
Personally, I say let them both go to court. The facts will come out.

But because Ron Paul subversively endorses the likes of a Communist and Socialist like Cynthia McKinney, or an anti-capitalist like Ralph Nader. Posted on April 9, 2012 at 1:21pmSEPARATED. I’ve often asked myself how a guy who is so much an expert on our Constitution can be so anti-American to almost the point of sedition and damn near treason in words and deed.
Like Obama, Ron Paul sides with America’s enemies foreign and domestic… and people like you continue to hold this misfit in such high regard. It’s simply amazing to me that you are so tunnel visioned not to see (or simply don’t care) that Ron Paul has associated himself with the dregs of our society and pandered to the same, not to mention the pandering abroad. to our enemies. You really hate your country that much?

Glenn Beck and Ron Paul are two of my favorite people. How dare you put me in any category related to Obama or the Left in general. However you came to your conclusions on Ron Paul supporters, I think you better check your facts son. Just because a few supporters act or comment a certain way, does not mean we are all that way. You’re Ron Paul supporter stereotypes are incorrect and offensive.
“And you‘re also telling me that Ron Paul supporters haven’t bashed Ronald Reagan on here before?”
SO WHAT? I love Ronald Reagan and Ron Paul and Glenn Beck….so now what does that mean to your ignorant comment?
You’re wrong on so many levels.
