Beck Calls Radio Show to Talk About His Walker, Fascism, and ‘Skanks’

There‘s no way I’m going to start out this story by saying that a Glenn Beck on medical leave is a good thing. I’m not going to say that him having a little cabin fever is leading to some great clips — like when he does a monologue from bed, or when he calls into his own radio show. I‘m not going to say it’s actually been an enjoyable week for people like me who are tasked with finding viral video and audio. I’m not going to do it.
What I will say is that Glenn Beck did call into his own radio show on Thursday. And I will say that he did talk about his health, his walker, Fascism, a book from the ’60s, and even his uncle Leo (who may or may not have been an Italian spy). Take a listen below:

Posted on January 12, 2012 at 6:28pmWell, I guess that’s one way of dealing with both sides of an issue-calling in to your own radio show. It’s really kind of funny when one thinks about it. I had to take a break from Glenn Beck & all the rest of them… They are a little bit too wound up for me since they seem to have nothing but material to work with concerning all these various political fiascoes going on. My parents think the candidates are very entertaining all by themselves with all their faux pas. As far as back pain goes-I have been living with degenerative disks which become inflamed off & on for years now & chiropractic does not work for everyone. Try natural anti-inflammatories & very low-key moderate muscle strengthening. I also have a tendency to rush & overdo my recoveries, which is a real b***h because I just cause myself more pain, so been there done that. Although, I refuse to use a walker yet. I prefer a shopping cart. Doesn’t mean one needs to fill it up to use one.

He makes inroads with Pastor Hagee and Bill Grahams family to learn the ropes. He conducts massive assembly’s where people come to hear him preach. He starts up his own channel ala ‘PTL’. He quotes bible versus and decries anyone for even daring to bad mouth Israel. When he starts asking for donations in return for some holy water or special token that he personally has prayed over that’ll be it for me.

Glenn: One (probably misspelled) word for you: Chiropractor.
I had a siactic (no spell check, sorry) nerve issue. After 2 months of pain killers, still not feeling better. Could not stand up straight. As doc was writing me a script for more barbs, I asked about an aliignment via Chiropractor. His reply was sure, go to a Chiropractor if you don’t want to walk again. (HMO).
The next day I went to sports Chiropractor who worked on pro football teams and janet jackson dancers. He twisted me, I stood straight up, pain was gone inside a day. Big believer in them now and only went for few adjustments, or when my motocross back acts up every few years. I’m an old guy who rides moto at the track every weekend (wife knew that going into relationship :))

I’m tired of hearing Glenn slam Ron Paul all time, when in my opinion Ron Paul is the kind of person he was describing that we needed in this country. That is the message I got from watching Glenn all this time. Now all he does is work hard to dig up dirt on the only true American candidate that I have seen so far. Bad press is the reason we lost Sarah Palin, and Glenn Beck is now doing the same thing to Ron Paul. Glenn jumps on the press’s band wagon to help vilify an American Patriot.
Hey Glenn??? Just what is it that you stand for??? Besides riling up the public to make yourself more dollars. Enjoy the $$$ you got from me, because you won’t be getting anymore. I will be sending my excess $$$ to Ron Paul.

I watched Glenn faithfully for years beginning, when he was at CNN, and bought his books….and then he endorsed Michelle “Patriot Act” Bachman over Ron Paul who is the guy who stands for everything Glenn SAID he believed in…and now he seems to like Santorum who is willing to bankrupt us by going to war with Iran.

We “lost” Sarah Palin because she’s not Presidential material, and while I do love Ron Paul, he’ll never ever ever win a national election being so anti-Israel. And don’t throw any Zionist labels at me, I agree that we should let the Israelites fight their own battles. But its just a simple fact, with this country being as Christian as it is, an anti-Israel person will never win. Anecdotally, I can name about a dozen of my family members who‘d probably vote for RP if they didn’t think that he was gonna throw Israel under the bus as soon as he’s elected.

It just won’t happen no matter how much you want it to. He is only creating a split and handing us a Romney when no one really wants him. Paul has a ceiling and he is almost there. It is the reason his is last in fund rasing because his supporters are young people who have no money. This election has to be about removing Obama from the White House and getting Reid out of the majority. Fight and scream on principles all you want but the people that actually go to the polls and donate money are the strong conservatives in the 50′s like my parents and they will never, ever vote Ron Paul, no matter how many Paulette post their are. We go this this every election and he clearly helps the “hand picked Republican” because he takes just enough away from others that might have a fighting chance. Been a nurse for over 20 years and spent time trying to find ways pt’s can use their computers more! Stay mentally active!!! The TV is passive… well not really… most of us yell at the TV and I KNOW Glenn does!
I sure hope they did an Epidural Steroid Injection… that would help you the most in the initial stages! …. and help determine IF improvemet is expected without surgery… microsurgery… you have the best in the nation in your area! Don’t wait forever .. not worth it!!! … ongoing risk of nerve damage without repair…especially if you are having ANY numbness….Recovery is QUICK
I spent 5 years going the conservative route of treatment and was miserable.. lost a kidney to medications… FINALY did outpatient micro diskectomy in Dallas, 2 disks…surgery and a few hours later was walking without pain….1 month later was doing about anything I wanted without restriction. 5 years later still a happy camper!

Report Post »I totally agree. I am an Orthopedic Nurse of 30 years and had back surgery 8 years ago. Surely an LESI would help , maybe a TENS but do not drag it out. It you have 3 herniated disc, just get them fixed and you will be back in no time. You will be miserable on and off with your back for no rhyme or reason and it Weighs on a persons nerves to be in pain. Get it done now before the event in July.
