Levin contested this claim on his facebook page, and has asked Politico to retract this statement:
“This is a flat out lie. Sarah Palin never backed out of any interview with me. Period. And John Martin, the reporter, never contacted me to ask me directly. I insist on a retraction.”

One hopes the other side fails while in office and throws up every road block to derail. Then we go right and the same thing happens. This political spin machine (including Beck, or as I call him David Koresh) is part of the problem. We do need to COMPROMISE. We compromise in business everyday; we comprise in our marriage; we compromise in church. Even Jesus compromised. We have to stop this crazy tennis game we are in. We are a country of two parties. COMPROMISE is the only way this country will gain back the sparkle we had. Rush, Beck, and Hannity are leading you down a path of gloom.

With the exception of just a very few, true Journalism is dead, and that really should scare all of us intently, Most of them have turned into a propaganda and brainwashing mechanism of a particular viewpoint and manipulate elections. If it wasn’t for Fox at least trying to express a different viewpoint on Issues we all would be lost. While they do lean somewhat to the right, at least they allow the other side to oppose their views. I think most of us older American’s realized years ago with the change in the so called Free press it was simply a matter of time before this country began its downfall. The liberal media has done some good in years past, yes, the civil rights movement was enhanced by both sides but the liberal side was the main force in trying to get everyone to say, color does not matter, now all they do is keep racism alive to stir up anger for voting to their viewpoint. I just hope it isn’t too late to get Journalism back to what our founders intended. Free, Fair, Balanced and hold all of them accountable.
