And so capitalism is wrong now?
Or only wrong because Beck is making a living organizing these events?
What person isn’t worthy of their wages? Arn’t YOU worth the wage you earn?
Are you saying Beck shouldn’t receive compensation for all the work, time, effort and money (taxes, fees, permits, port-a-potties, paychecks, space rental, insurance, security, etc. etc) he spends to host these events?

Lastly. Name for me any other person or organization that is hosting mega events that fall in the same genre as “Honor, Courage and Love”?

I do not begrudge a person making a profit off their own labor, especially a labor that unites people under a banner of compassion and concern.

I won’t be able to be there this time around as I have a wedding to attend with family and cannot miss it. I hope Beck televises it like he did Restoring Love though. Sounds like it will be a way to try and get Ohio to not be a swing state and promote the same love and caring that was shown at restoring love and the day of service. If all you can see in what Glenn Beck does is bad then I feel sorry for you.

You got to think Jesus is pissed up there in heaven. He roamed around down here on Earth and preached and he preached. Beck does the same damn thing PLUS he creates conspiracies, and he makes $38M year. Sorry mr Jesus man. Oh! SO you were/not in it for the money? I see.

This man has the prayers of millions. The thing I like about Beck is how humble he is and much he gives away. He took a hit in Dallas so thousands could afford to come and come they did. Why you (RYFCOM) felt the need to come on Beck’s website and talk trash is beyond me. Why would you take the time to do that unles your a progressive lib? You don’t sway any of us supporters though. We know the heart that this man has. Now we know yours as well…

You and all your communist friends will soon be out of a job and will have to go back to being a welfare recipient and no longer a Soros funded butt licker. As the recent boycott of Chic Fil A proves we are tired of your crap and are not going to take it anymore. Do the right thing and move to your Utopia france. Where cowards are king.

      @RFYCOM:

Jesus had people donating to his cause also, they used it to pay for lodging and food. He even had members that carried weapons for safety since there were roving bands of evil doers that would “Steal” what they had. If you remember the night of Passover and Jesus’ arrest Peter cut off the ear of one of the soldiers, Jesus lovingly reattached it and chided Peter for his angry outburst.

It was Judas and Matthew I believe that took care of the purse of the movement. So your rant is a bit unresearched and contrived.

@fobama “but sadly hes a fraud” Why do you say that? What is it about him that you find to be fraud?

You even say you still believe him to be a good man, how that be? How can you find someone to be good man and a fraud at the same time?

Only reason you seemingly stated is because he charges money for his product that he is producing… Clarification please?

Soros had his mask taken off by Beck and he pays you to try and convince people that you are a disgruntled conservative. Maybe the first ten times some people were fooled by you but after they see the same garbage a thousand times it becomes obvious what you people are doing. Just look for a conservative sounding name bashing the country, the constitution, normal families, hard work, lawful citizens and anything good. We need more movies and art with truth that have true religion, characters with values represented with respect, art that is not pc, our history represented with accuracy and with capitalism & constitutional values represented in a positive light etc.

We also need true conservatives, libertarians, constitutional and Christian/religion historians to band together create credited/creditable Universities for higher education.

OK, let me try this again. Everyone already agrees that adultery is wrong. (Unless of course you are advocating for acceptance of adultery as a societal norm). Since everyone already agrees that adultery is a sin and against the morals of society, what is your point?

If you are wondering why there is not an equivalent “out cry” against adultery – please see paragraph 1.

Just to further clarify, if and when there arises a powerful bully lobby favoring the societal acceptance of adultery as normative behavior, trust me, you will see the same indignation for this sexual sin as for the sexual sin of homosexuality.

      Any questions?

If you haven’t heard and “leaders of the Mormon [sic] Church“ condemn ”whoremongering and breaking of the law and the commandments”, you haven’t been listening very well.

Every six months, the leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hold a general, world-wide conference and some of the recurrent themes of the conference are “don’t break the law”, “follow the commandments”, and a pleading with the people to be honest, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and, in sum, “saints” in deed as well as in name.

Your rant was incoherent, but I assume you mean that the leaders of the LDS Church didn’t call specifically on Vitter and Wiener to amend their sinful ways. Neither Wiener nor Vitter is a Saint; the Brethren have no power or influence over them or their actions. However, the Brethren frequently publish letters and address their remarks to the leaders of the nations (including USmerica) and admonish them to live righteously, and to call on the people of those nations to follow the will of God.

I have read several missives form Catholic leaders, too, who forcefully suggest that politicians obey the laws and the commandments. I know more than a few pastors who have done the same thing.

The problem lies with those who refuse to publicize these pleas on the one hand, and with those who do not heed them.

It is unclear what it is you are demanding or insinuating. What is clear is that you are speaking from a position of ignorance.

When the R‘s stop running stone cold Progressives you may see some distance develop between them and the D’s. But considering they are getting ready to nominate a candidate who is just as weak as the candidate that got the stuff kicked out of him in ‘08 the poll results don’t surprise me at all. If I confined my thinking to the two establishment parties exclusively, I would have a difficult time making up my mind between Governor Romney and President Obama. They are the same candidate.

If you really believe in Tea, you would do well to forget the R‘s and the D’s. They are not the answer. The establishments in both parties are progressive and they control who is nominated. The primaries, the debates, your vote, my vote, your neighbors vote don’t matter a whit to them. Peace.

The polls being touted by the leagcy (dying) media, are skewed in so many ways (like loading 10% more dem likely voters than any equal representation )

SoyBomb is correct. As soon as one event ends he starts to promote another. If he didn’t make money off these ventures then he would stop. As much as Glenn likes to say these events are for the good of the people the bottom line is they are for the good of his brand.

It reminds me of Boxing/UFC/WWE. The day after the latest “Greatest Match Ever” they start to promote the even bigger event in just a couple months.

It’s amazing how many people love to be parted from their money.

Thanks for that – that‘s the analogy I’ve been trying to find. It really is like WWE. My son used to watch that when he was very young. Like most kids he realised it wasn’t real when he was about 8. Maybe that’s the key – all Beckies are really under 8s at heart. It suddenly makes sense if you realise that the gullibility is just innocence of the real world. Thanks, I’ll watch for your posts in future with interest.
