Beck Explains Why We Have a ‘New Chance’ For ‘Hope and Change’

The slogan “change,” according to Glenn Beck, worked in 2008 because people on both sides of the aisle were frustrated with the entire political system and thought that perhaps a hopeful, interracial president would transcend all barriers. Beck ceded that it was even easy from him to rejoice at the significance of America electing its first black president.

Yet “all of that promise was squandered,” he noted. And that is why President Obama is having trouble raising money (as is evident by his most recent plea for donations). Democrats put “big labor” and corporations “above people who believe in something.”

The “number one special interest group should be the American People,” said Beck, who added that the “goal” should not be about accumulating more power while growing government and political organizations.

Nonetheless, Americans’ “hope” is not lost, as they have their chance start anew in 2012:

I would love to believe that these people,Proressives,Marxists, Communists,Muslims, Blacks and others that HATE real Americans and FREEDOM will just go away when Obama is defeated in November. They have been mounting their charge for many years. They will not just go Quietly into the night. When they sence defeat, they will lay waste to whatever they can. Things are going to become very unplesent for a time, no matter who wins the election.I hope and Pray that real American Patroits are preparing for what lies ahead.       Ashes, I think you said it best. As I was listening to Glenn in his monologue, I could not help but think he was talking like a Ron Paul supporter. That is real change, the change that people hoped for with Obama, but got a Marxist leaning lefty. He certainly cannot insinuate that he was taking about Romney!! Paul is REAL change, change back towards the Constitution. Is everything he talks about viable? Probably not, but it is a good start to get back to what made us great. He cannot do all he would like to do as Congress will keep him in check, just like they are suipposed to do. This is what people are missing. Presidents cannot do what they tell you they wnt to do. It is always the people through their elected state reps that make the difference. We just need someone that will put a huge dent into the powers to be plans. Four years! Give Ron Paul four years! It would be the best thing for America right now.
      I am going to be leaving the blogging of The Blaze in the next couple days. I have some personal things to attend to, and I do believe that the remainder of the bloggers here on The Blaze are either paid for by certain groups, Time _2, Republicorp, P8triot, QP, JZS, and a host of others, and the true sheeple that just cannot think for themselves, and of course, the true patriots that continue to fight for freedom.       At this point, I believe it’s impossible for Ron Paul to win even if we all did write-ins for him, and it‘s really a shame because he’s the only one that actually has a plan to reduce our debt and bring America back to greatness. This election will be the event horizon, impossible to ever recover, and debt will be the nail in America’s coffin. America’s debt will eat us alive. Any decisions after this will be a moot point. RP was a little weak on a couple of foreign policy areas, but at least recovery would have been possible with him at the helm, even if it was our grandchildren pulling our fat outta the fire. We need to leave the world alone, and quit throwing money to countries all over the world, and just take take of ourselves. After November, not even our great, great, great grandchildren could ever save us. $20 trillion is just impossible in which to ever recover…..yet we throw it around like play money.

    Things are looking up in the general public… people are actually waking up… here’s a fine example:

    At a parade over the weekend, there were a bunch of politicians who were Republican’s handing out their bumper stickers for their elections into the Senate. They shook hands with the people who lined the streets, as they were greeted in a friendly and firm manner. BUT for the democrats running for senate, well, there seemed to be only one person, and that person never showed up, so they had someone at this parade trying to hand out the bumper stickers for her… only, whenever this person tried to hand them out, all the people responded the same way – with their hands behind their backs.

    You are awesome Glenn! Keep telling the truth on GBTV and at the Blaze! I was very much stunned but happy that people were finally waking up.

    Um GB, the guy with an easy religion to make fun of has already expressed his disdain for the Constitution and he and/or his campaign in the primaries have conducted illegal activities as far as I’m concerned. I have hope for 2016. 2012 is a wash, and you’re partly to Blame.

I watched to see who he would support..Everyone was saying that there must be something wrong with Romnae..because remained quiet…still I waited..There were only two republican candidates among the 4 left..and I don’t know about Cain and Bachman..but only Paul and Romnae had even filed the paperwork to be official candidates.. Each candidate was cafefully vetted..marginalized and tossed aside..the only one who did not quit was Ron Paul and of course Romnae.. It is my understanding that the Mormon Church went to the Rothschilds in the early 1900′s to be financed..as did JW’s.. THe reason I believe so many join the Mormon Churcn is they help their brethren financially..I understand that they own their share of media outlets. Mr B has done very well..and he does have his band or ardent followers..keeping in step with Zionism..I believe the whole purpose has been to fulfill the Mormon end of days prophesy and the WHite Horse prophesy..where Mitt the high priest will rule the NWO and sit in the Mormon Temple to rule..Wow..what a catalyst… Smooth operator..

I promise you..but it remains to be seen as to whether we are going to go under Martial Law..seems that Obama is and has been doing a lot of executive orders that have gone unreported..even by your brother.. even when I pointed them ou to your brothers website they were ignored ..Kind of tells you who runs you guys huh?       Ok, you got me. I joined the Church because I have been promised a governorship of a tiny Carribean island. We secretly call them our own planets. Joseph Smith was a Mason who sold his soul for thirty pieces of gold. In order to get it out of the country, he told people that an angel took his gold back to heaven. Then he started his own city in Illinois: complete with an army and a bank. He would’ve gotten away to Salt Lake, out of this country, but they killed him while in jail in Missouri.

      The gig is up. Good job. How’d you find us out? Wait! I know! I saw a book like that in a Christian bookstore. And a local pastor or two was educating their flocks.

      @BROTHER ED It is a known fact Brother Ed that the Mormons help their own financially..I dare not tell you who told me about the End of Days prophesy and the White Horse Prophesy..I know a few Mormons..One is in my family..another is the son of a former pastor and I have several friends who are Mormons..I would not expect you to know everything.. There are most likely more commoners among the Mormons than there are ones in positions of any kind of power..however..I believe some of the biggest money makers are most likely supported by the Mormon Church and the Mormon Church is supported by them..Is that far fetched..especially when we are talking about the Presidency of the Uniited States. As for Joseph Smith..I know he was a Free Mason.. GB is a Zionist and promotes Zionism which is the NWO..

      What you say is true: we support each other (food & service), the wealthy Mormons pay a lot of money to the Church (10% tithe), the White Horse theory is out there (Brigham Young was talking about saving the Constitution), the Church owns many media outlets, etc.

      My concern is that you have lumped all of that into a NWO conspiracy theory with absolutely no proof, only faint outlines. Some people see conspiracy in everything….

    I have zero hope for this country. If we can go through the hardships economically over the past 5 years all while seeing our freedoms continue to be taken from us and finally see how our overseas empire works and still vote for the status quo, I have no hope in this country.

    I will have hope for this country when the real Americans fight to take it back. I will have hope for this country not when it elects a black man, or women, or asian for their race, color, or gender but when it elects a person that will be honest and follow the rules of the land. I will have respect for this country when the sheep quit voting party line or for the lesser of two evils and start voting for the right person.

    Sadly my hopes will not happen. This country is on a course that cannot be fixed. We have already hit the iceberg. I think at this point its life raft time. Get your family and friends safe and united. There will be a lot of people trying to pull people out of the lifeboats. Get prepared.

    The Blaze really is a brilliant reflection of Glenn himself. Incredibly busy, manic and cluttered with promotion and advertising. But mostly, about every third story is about Glenn himself. Kudos Blaze staff. You serve your Master well. And you will be rewarded.

      That doesnt work. Saying and doing it are two different things. For example, Rubio and West came to office as the good guys. They got to Washington and now are not much different that the old guard. All but 10 guys in Washington are still as far right now as they were when they took office. Most move to the middle. The problem is when you try and elect a guy like Romney is he is already barely middle, when he moves it will be left.

      Also I have seen comments about how tough people will be on Romney (even threatening to make him a one term president if he doesnt listen). What a joke. No party would do that, plus just think the left will put their guy up and again Romney would be the lesser of two evils.

      You people just dont get it.

      I enjoy listening to Steyn – i think he is the best one on the radio these days. Unfortunately, this primary season has proven that people like Steyn and us are the minority of the republican party – as it is filled with people who are too damn lazy or asleep to realize what is going on. The majority of people who call themselves republicans in this country are satisfied to just have the republicans in charge and nothing else.

      I listen to Glenn but do my own research. I believe we are doomed but I am not leaving. I have food storage, land, water, I have a garden, guns, ammo stocks, a reloader, and have a good close family. We will be fine. My concern is for my kids. I have a good life, I want my kids to have better. I dont want my kids to not get to play high school sports and proms because their great grandparents and grandparents were idiots.
