‘Marked for Death’: Beck Interviews Anti-Islamist Dutch MP Geert Wilders

Scroll down for the video.

Dutch MP Geert Wilders Joins Glenn Beck to Discuss Islamization of EuropeLas week Glenn Beck began dedicating a portion of his evening broadcasts to heroes who faced enormous odds, yet still managed to forge ahead in realizing their goals. From an in-depth interview with embattled rocker, Ted Nugent, to providing a platform to former NSA whistle-blowers, Beck will continue to pay tribute to those who have paid a high price for simply being good citizens. On Wednesday, the theme continued with a man who is leading the charge against the Islamization of Europe, Dutch MP Geert Wilders. For those unfamiliar with the staunchly pro-Israel, anti-radical Islam politician, below is brief profile.

An abiding love for Israel

Born in the city of Venlo on the German border, Wilders was raised Catholic. During World War II, his father, fearing the impending Nazi encroachment, fled the area and refused to ever set foot in Germany again — not even forty years later. Carrying his father’s sentiments into the next generation, Wilders once expressed in an interview that while serving in the military, he felt joy over not having to share an encampment with Germans during a joint exercise. This perhaps gives one an inkling of Wilders’ aversion to those who have in the past exhibited a propensity for violence and subjugation.

Full of wanderlust, a young Wilders dreamed of traveling to Australia, but due to the high cost ended up visiting Israel instead. He remained there approximately two years. While in Israel, Wilders reportedly volunteered at a moshav (similar to a kibbutz, but where there are private, rather than communal landowners) and worked with other Jewish families. He later traveled to neighboring Arab countries only to be appalled at the lack of democracy he saw.

It was during these formative years that Wilders’ views on Israel and the Middle East were formed. In fact, from that point on, Wilders considered Israel a second home and forged a sense of solidarity with the embattled Jewish State. He has since traveled to Israel an estimated 50 times and has been outspoken in his condemnation of the tiny nation’s numerous enemies.

Regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Wilders believes Palestinians have no claim to any portion of Israel because their true home is actually situated in Jordan. During a rousing speech delivered in Tel Aviv in December of 2010, Wilders credited Israel as being “an immense source of inspiration” for him and said he was “proud to stand with Israel.” He added:

I am grateful to Israel. I will always defend Israel. Your country is the cradle of Western civilization. We call it the Judeo-Christian civilization with good reason.

Friends, Israel is not to blame for the situation in the Middle East. The problem is Islam’s rejection of Israel’s right to exist. Only last month, Fatah concluded its convention in Ramallah by declaring its blatant refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

He went on to explain that the problem lies with Western leaders’ ”refusal to understand that Israel is the West’s canary in the coalmine.”

“If the Jews are denied the right to live in freedom and peace, soon we will all be denied this right. If the light of Israel is extinguished, we will all face darkness. If Israel falls, the West falls. That is why we are all Israel.”

Views on Islam

Outside of his affection for Israel, Wilders is perhaps best known for his criticism of radical Islam and his efforts to thwart the Islamization of the Netherlands. Based on his belief that the Quran harbors the same essential message as Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” Wilders has called for a nation-wide ban on the Quran and has supported the deportation of convicted criminals who are Muslim. He has also argued that immigration from Islamic countries into the Netherlands be halted. In an interview with the Guardian, Wilders explained that Islam “is something we can’t afford any more in the Netherlands.”

“We need to stop the Islamization of the Netherlands… Not all Muslims are terrorists, but almost allDutch MP Geert Wilders Joins Glenn Beck to Discuss Islamization of Europe terrorists are Muslims.”

He clarified that he is not an advocate of hate-speech, rather, he merely seeks to be honest. “I want to be honest. I don’t hate people. I don’t hate Muslims. I hate their book and their ideology.”

Wilders, who rails against moral relativism, came to his conclusions on the Quran and Islam after studying its numerous texts and suras (Islamic sacred verses). What he says he found was an ideology full of vitriol that rewards abuse and murder, rather than love and tolerance. To warn fellow his Dutch, and on a broader scale, world citizens (particularly members of government) of the growing threat, Wilders produced a short movie on Islam titled, “Fitna.” Al Qaeda put a fatwa on the Dutch MP as a result.

Wilders’ outspokenness eventually drew accusations of hate-speech, a charge for which he was formally tried in court in the Netherlands. The case lasted from 2010 to June 2011, when he was found not guilty. He has even been banned from entering countries like England for his views. And Wilders’ recently released book, “Marked for Death: Islam’s War Against the West and Me,” will surely draw equal scorn within Islam and indeed the progressive world.

He has fought for a 1st amendment in Europe so that hate-speech laws across Europe could not apply to simply speaking the truth about a particular contingent.

Under constant threat of death, Wilders has, for years, been forced to live under 24-hour police protection. He must often keep a residence separate from his family for their protection and has even been relegated to sleeping in army barracks for safekeeping. He told the Guardian about his lack of freedom and privacy and admitted that if he said he was not afraid, he would “be lying.

Disengaging from the EU

One of Wilders’ lesser-known crusades — especially leading up to the Dutch parliamentary elections in September – is his push to disengage the Netherlands from the European Union and the eurozone. After the fallout in Greece and the tidal wave felt across Europe, Wilders believes that through national sovereignty, rather than “bureaucrats in Brussels,“ the Dutch can ”determine our own rules, like who comes into the country, immigration and have our own currency.”

“Without it we cannot defend our identity and fight against Islamization.”

He also seeks to reintroduce the Dutch guilder and gear the election toward the disintegrating economy. While economists may dispute his claim that the cost of Euro-membership outweighs the benefits, public opinion is reportedly on Wilders side when it comes to his opposition to austerity.

Interview with Glenn Beck

During his Wednesday evening broadcast, Beck interviewed Wilder — the “most threatened politician in the Netherlands…and even the world” — to delve deeper into his thinking and discern where Europe might be headed.

According to Wilders, Europeans are starting to “wake up” to the effects mass immigration has had on their country. With what he considers a disproportionate immigrant community comprising mainly Muslims from North Africa, Wilders said citizens ”don’t feel safe in their on neighborhoods…and on their own streets.” He noted that these immigrants largely do not work and are ultimately a demographic that engages in crime at higher levels than do others in the community.

Wilders also told Beck that his political party became the third largest in the Netherlands because its message resonates with everyday people. He said that his party would not have garnered 15% of the vote if it advocated racism or violence in any way. “Parties like mine are respectful parties that work in a democratic way,” he said.

Beck asked if one can be Muslim and not be an extremist or a danger to the west. Wilders answer was complex, but essentially he believes that it is a contradiction to be a moderate Muslim because the Quran is riddled with verses that call for violence and the Prophet Muhammad himself committed murder in the name of Allah. Conversely, Wilders said that he distinguishes between the ideology and the religion and that while he doesn’t believe in Islam, he believes in people and their power to choose freedom.

As the conversation turned to the crisis in Europe, Wilders noted the EU is a “big mess” and has less support than ever from its own people. He predicted the EU is months away from collapse and reiterated his desire to disengage from the eurozone in an effort to provide more stability to the Netherlands.

Below are portions of the powerful interview. We strongly urge you to watch and share.

I enjoyed the way his statements about Muslims, overall, took GB aback. He really had to think about Mr. Wilders’ comments. I think the rest of us did, too…I thought something like this: We are a nation founded on religious liberties. BUT, when so few Muslims stand up in an “assimilated” way, they are a danger (and have made that obvious). What to do???

Yeah, Geert surprised the hell outta me. I was expecting your typical, candy-assed European, but this dude is deathly serious.

I think what I took away that made the most sense and was kinda of an “Ah, hah!” moment was when he talked about Islam being more of an ideology, as opposed to a religion, and that we cannot endeavor to “moderate” it, just like fascism and communism and Marxism and socialism cannot be moderated. I was surprised Glenn took issue with this. It’s pretty basic if you think about it.

Unfortunately, the majority in this world are too stupid to think independently and logically, so a lot of people are going to lose their lives and freedom because of their quest for Utopia and political correctness and fear.

Geert Wilders does all this within the stifling milieu of European Socialism. I am stunned and amazed the Glenn Beck had him on the show. And very, very, happy.

Now, we need to hear from the brave apostates who all have a death penalty on their heads.

Americans need to listen to Geert. He has a crystal clear understanding of Islam and Jihad.

      Excellent show.

Geert has it 100% correct, despite how uncomfortable it makes you. Muslims cannot be mainstreamed into our society or any Judeochristian western society…..PERIOD.

Europe is starting to listen ti this guy. And thank God that is so.

It has taken so long because the early voices of warning were shouted down by the PC brigade of warm fuzziness. They were branded as extremists or “nazis” and, in fact, Wilders is called that, and more, by his detractors.

Wilders party in now the second biggest in his nation. The trouble is that, because it has taken so long, the solution will be painful. It must be down, however, in his country and all of our countries. The longer it takes to act, the harder it will be to resolve.

It is with great relief, however, that I watch the western world finally beginning to accept that there is a very real threat to their civilisation, and starting to look for solutions.

It’s easy to listen to the advise to hire an exterminator when your house is already infested with roaches and you can see how they destroy everything. The more challenging part is to preempt the infestation in the first place. It’s too late for Europe, they’ve already got a roach problem. Maybe we can learn vicariously and stop the spread of evil islam in the US before it becomes a war.

If we had some one like this running for any kind of public office here the state run media would crucify them, even though they were speaking the truth. I would vote for him in a second if I were Dutch. People who come to a new country must integrate, or at least accept the culture. We have the same problems in the USA. Either accept your new home, or go back to where you came from..
He is also correct about the Euro and the EU. What started out as an economic union, has ended up as a controlling, detached ruling class in Brussels (similar to what we now have in Washington,DC).

The problem is not just in the US or Europe but also in every free society.

Australia is starting to have serious problems, but fortunately they came awake to them fairly quickly. Australians are very outspoken and independently minded people. I am sure that they will eventually handle their muslims without too much bother. New Zealand hasn’t much of a problem yet, because muslim numbers a fairly small. I don’t think that the muslims saw us as particularly important, or useful, to them. This is lucky for us because we can see from the rest of the civilised world what is coming next.

The only thing that bothers me is that we nave been getting so-called “immigrants” gaining NZ citizenship, which they immediately use to move to countries where they have previously been turned away and potentially ruining our good name. I think that this is why Janet Nepolitano is here at the moment (just my opinion – nothing like that has been said).

KIWI…I noticed the same thing in Aussie. Entire business districts closed down and moved since muslim immigrants wouldn‘t patronise them because they didn’t keep muslim hours and observances. As a result the areas have gone down in commerical and residential value.
You’ll recall the groups of muslim youth a few years ago that would prowl Aussie beaches leering at and insulting Aussie women? Our beaches in Sydney are topless which seems to both repulse and titilate muslim men. It got so bad that violence broke out at the beaches and nationalist groups came to the area creating an even more volatile environment. You‘re right Aussies are outspoken but in the last few years they’ve also been bending to the will of the lefty PC crowd. This is why Gillard has imposed Aussie’s version of cap and trade there. I‘m told it’s hugely unpopular and her chances of re-election are slim though.

Geert nailed it. I have told many people that Islam is not a religion. It is a destructive political/cultural system wrapped in backwards superstition. The total eradication of Islam will be the greatest gift ever given to the Arab people. The women and children of that mental slavery will thank us for centuries.

Islam should be treated like a communicable disease. Sufferers should be isolated and separated and those who haven’t caught it yet should be educated.

You can’t eradicate a religion (or ideology, if you will) on the sole basis that you feel it is backward. Not only is that contrary to what the Founding Fathers believed, but it makes EVERY religion or ideology in jeopardy of eradication based upon the whims of popular opinion.

What you can do, though, is seek to eradicate it on the basis that it forces its will upon others. That is the crux of the issue. They can believe however they’d like, as long as their beliefs don’t infringe on the liberty of others. This is the issue! Islam infringes on the liberty of those who seek to leave it; it infringes on the liberty of non-Muslims living in Muslim lands; and it infringes on the liberties of those who exist in a location that become inundated with an influx of Muslim immigrants. Muslims seek to impose their will and ideology on those around them. This alone is the problem, not their ideology or doctrines themselves. And this is the reason why freedom-loving people everywhere should seek to eradicate it, so long as they maintain their current rejection of liberty.

I’d rather that Wilders be a member of Mossad than say, oooh, I don’t know, Al Kaida or CAIR or Muslim Brotherhood.

I don’t believe, even in my hometown of Australia, there is such a thing as ‘Multi-Culturalism’. ‘Multi-Nationalism’ – definitely! ‘Integration’ in the community has not happened here since before the Vietnamese refugees arrived in late 70s/early 80s, when the European refugees (survivors of WWII) arrived – and were forced to integrate into the community as they had not been given handouts (social security etc); they immediately went to work in undesireable forms of employment and were humble in their job (regardless of personal qualifications/skills/education level); they had to learn to read, write and speak English (the nationally-spoken language) as they were not provided interpreter services and ‘sub-titles’. They mixed in with communities (and maintained their ‘culture’ privately). They could take a joke and not seek murderous ‘vengeance’ against bigots or racists – no ‘political correctness.
Multi-culturalism nowadays has only created tension in the community, and introduced a new law (in recent years) called the ‘Racial Vilification Bill’ – in case you offend somebody with the truth.
So much for free speech – and in a so-called democratic freedom-loving country which is why most the earlier migrants came to escape persecution from fascists, and dictators, and tyrants, in the first place!
      God bless USA and Australia!!

Common sense is key. However, reasoning with Muslims has thus far proved unsuccessful because of the perpetuated, sanctioned obligation of Muslims to follow the dictates/example of Mohammed. Subsequently, Muslims are not only eager to marry their cousins, it is a source of elevated social status for Muslim parents to marry their offspring to a cousin. Muslims have been marrying their cousins for 1,400 years/50 generations. Researchers estimate that nearly 50% of the Arab world is inbred. The widespread practice of Muslim inbreeding and the subsequent birth defects that drop intelligence 10-16 IQ points and increase mental retardation among children from cousin marriages a crippling 400%, is an overwhelming cultural detriment. Is it any wonder why Islamists remain on a socially primitive and under-developed mental level, and why every effort by non-Muslims to reach them intellectually ultimately fails?

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.

The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.

No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

The ironic/hypocritical thing about G. Wilders death sentence by these muslum fanatics is that he advocates that muslums up and relocating into a foreign country and integrate into society should assimilate the customs and culture of that land. Apparently this goes against these extremists invasion policy. So they get legislators to cry discriminatory or they protest. They exploit fairness policies in other countries and turn it against it’s citizens. Then they get to further spread their ideals and force their beliefs on others.

However in the Muslum nations, they already have a more strict policy of assimilation for their regions, when foreigners migrate to their region they must assimilate into their culture, lifestyle, and convert or die by beheading. They don’t have legislators that foreigners may cry unfairness to, just have high priests that safeguard their own interests. “Do as I say, but not what I do”

Islam was designed to be exactly as we see it when we watch someone blow themselves up in a crowd of children who’s only “crime” was to not be a Muslim.
