Posted on March 7, 2012 at 5:18pmVoting in Virginia was insane this round. Only 5% of Virginians went to the poll. Everyone said they couldn’t vote for the man they wanted. From my informal polling Santorum would have done very well. As for myself, I found myself explaining to my 15 year old that you could indeed vote AGAINST a candidate in the way you vote in this case. I had to decide to vote for Ron Paul, financially sound, globally too much of an ostrich for me as I have a global corporate position and know we need a strong global force in our president. So I voted for Paul because I believe in exercising my right and responsibility to vote and to vote against Romney. If Romney wins, we are headed farther down the same path we’ve been on with Obama.

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 3:25pmMy passionate plea…
No one is perfect. Every single person on the blaze has different values, theologies, and ideals of what we would want in a President.
BUT LET ME GET ONE THING STRAIGHT… any of these 4 candidates would be better than Barack Obama and the minions he has appointed to serve with him.
Obama has absolutely no record to stand on! NONE! He knows it, and the MSM knows it. They know the only way they will win is if we conservatives self destruct.
The left is eagerly supplying ammunition to the conservatives to fight their own internal battle… and we are taking that ammunition hook line and sinker. We are using it to divide each other and destroy our remaining candidates… making our nominee less and less viable against Obama.
I understand that we don’t need to rally around one candidate yet, but the time will SOON come when we will, and whoever the nominee is, we MUST rally around as if our life depends on it… because our life does depend on it.
What can we do right now, before rallying behind the nominee? We can stop the bickering and name calling; we can stop the hateful, shameful, and demeaning rhetoric.
We can stop blindly accepting the ammunition that is fed from the left and we can stop using it against each other. We can have civil debates where reason, logic, and evidence are used to discuss our candidates.
If we lose this election, it is OUR own fault for not rallying together for liberty and conservatism.

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 3:39pmThe rhetoric should stop with Glenn Beck – he said some rude comments about Newt’s wife last night – that was uncalled for. I thought Glenn Beck was for “Restoring Love” not HATE….. He hates Newt and that is shameful – when he started this GBTV he (Glenn) said he would NOT be supporting anyone YET he praises all the candidates and says he HATES Newt – so if that is NOT supporting someone – what IS???? I guess if Gov. Palin supports Newt – Glenn will go after her too. Glenn Beck is letting his success go to his head!!!

From THE REPORTER
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
10 ways to improve GBTV:
1. Go back to a serious FOX type format, most people do not have a need or the patience to sit and watch Glenn Beck eat Oriole cookies for 10 or 15 minutes and say absolutely nothing of importance.
2. Hire seasoned news reporters. How can you take a greenhorn who’s still wet behind the ears seriously?
3. Stop using S.E. Cup as some sort of screen model. What’s up with all the extreme close-ups of her face?
4. Get off of the religious bandwagon, it’s been going on now for way too long. Most GBTV subscribers didn’t pay to be preached to.
5. Get off the pro Israel bandwagon. The Israeli lobby is one of the largest lobbies in Washington, they’ve got enough representation as it is.
6. Stop backing political candidates. Glenn Beck may be a super good futurist but picking political candidates causes an extreme loss of credibility.
7. Appear on GBTV 5 days every week instead of just 4.
8. Stop dressing like a teenager.
9. Stop trying to appeal to a younger audience for, in general, they are too far gone to save.
10. Feature Amy Holmes more, she’s a radiant person and an A+ for the program.

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 12:01pmS.E. Cupp and Jeddy Bilas are the only two on Real News that seem to resemble professional quality. I have commented on Glenns clown act before stating that it demeans himself and his audience. They do have an occasional quality guest panelist but they aren’t allowed to make their points over the others.

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 12:59pmThis is precisely what I think. Great post! I’m really growing tired with the conga line of evangelicals/born-agains that Glenn is shoving down our throats. I don’t understand what would be so difficult with splitting off the zealotry into its own program.

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 3:49pmGreat post!!! I AGREE with the following points: 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 & 10 and as far as what Glenn wears I could give a crapp. I whole heartly agree with you on his political crapp – when he started GBTV he said he was not supporting anyone and low and behold he is backing Santorum – which is his mistake to make – BUT STOP telling us who we should support!!! Furthermore he should NOT be bad mouthing Newt because he hates Newt – Glenn should respect our opinions!! I am beginning to think HATE is what his church is teaching him. Furthermore, I wanted to go to his “Restoring Love” but now I can not in good faith go there after Glenn has been spewing so much HATE. Plus he threw Andrew Breitbart under the bus with theSherrod story….

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 4:32pmMany of the 10 points are shared by me as well. I love Glenn and identify with his persona. My advice is, “Don’t stop, now!” I have had good face time with Rick Santorum and his daughter Elizabeth, Josh and Mitt Romney. Elizabeth speaks well of you and Tanya and loves Ann Romney.
Report Post »I have Glenn and Bibi Netanyahu conversations in my archive. Glenn, drop the mask as the Brethren now tell us. Do not try to be impartial any longer. Admit it. It is very important the people know Mitt and all his family. They will be ours for a long time. I know your cause. Be true to it…NOW

Beck and Limbaugh turning this into a women’s issue is disgusting. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. People have got to take these rodeo clowns for what they are — entertainers.

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 8:49amI have been a fan of Glenn for years and never miss his shows. But something is going to have to be done with Real News. #Amy Holmes just cannot read a tele prompter without repeating herself, stammering and stuttering. The topics chosen go on and on and they wear them out before they move on. Lets have more topics and less discussion. Put duct tape over Bucks mouth and get rid of Will.

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 4:22pmTo MIDWESTHIPPIE, I agree Glenn needs his meds!! I hate what he is saying about Newt and treats anyone that likes NEWT like we are STUPID…. Plus PARTYOF1 is CORRECT these other programs Glenn is trying to push are not worth paying for. I upgraded to GBTV Plus and after watching The Real News and after seeing his people and of course every shot is of SE Cupp (whom I don’t like) I hated the format and I do not like the spirit of their discussion or their topics – it is boring. I ended up cancelling the PLUS but I did keep the other part for now – UNTIL Glenn ****** me off with all his hate against Newt. It is OK that he does NOT support Newt – I get it – NOW Glenn needs to respect my opinion and not call me stupid!!

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 6:51am“You dont believe in our fundamental values and if you did you would be casting and telling everyone you know to vote for Ron Paul.”
Glenn Beck believes in HIS fundamental values like most Americans (and not Paul Zombies) do. That‘s why he won’t vote for R(I)P.
From the Republican Primary point of view, it’s anybody BUT Ron Paul :-)
Report Post »UnreconstructedLibertarian
Posted on March 7, 2012 at 10:42amGlenn should really leave the word Libertarian out of his vocabulary. I completely agree with the assertion that he follows only “His fundamental values”, unfortunately those values are destroying the modern Republican party and finishing off the Constitution as any sort of guide for the Federal Government.
Most of you Republican Triumphalists don’t realize you are re-creating the Conservative mistakes of the era prior to the War Between the States. Which is taking such a hard position on your unique qualifiers of what conservatism is, you completely fracture the party into an untenable positions. What you should be concentrating on is the Constitution and its quarantee of Freedom. The discounting of that freedom and the responsbility it transfers to the individual is discounting the Constitution outright.
What’s worse is that the entire dialouge of the Republican party is completely ignorant of its own story. The myth you believe regarding the party has been contrived by Socialists, and was meant to exact the result about to be foisted upon the American people. The anti-Paul/anti-Libertarian comments are proof that the Constutition is in fact – a dead issue.
Beck’s worship of Lincoln is blind and in sync with historians like Kenneth Stampp, who I just read yesterday “The Era of Reconstruction”. Get acquainted with Stampp.
