Beck Kicks Off ‘Unelectable 2’ Tour

Check out the highlights from the opening weekend of Glenn Beck’s “Unelectable 2” comedy tour:

For those who are unfamiliar with the “Unelectable” tour (click here for tour stops and tickets), it’s a live comedy show where Glenn Beck uses the full force of his wit and showmanship to skewer Democrats, Republicans, cultural trends, current events, lawmakers, criminals, et cetera, et ceterae.

And why is it called “Unelectable”? Simple: because he says the things politicians should be saying but won’t — because it would make them “unelectable.”

I‘ve been to 2 of Glenn’s Live Shows. An Inconvenient Tour an The Christmas Sweater.
Both were very entertaining an my Wife even enjoyed them. She Hates Politics but likes
Humor. I rarelly listen to his radio show anymore The Glenn, Pat an Stu Comedy Stik
Doesn’t do anything for Me in fact I find it quite Boring.I used to watch Glenn on FOX
but don’t subscribe to GBTV. I have All his Books including the Christmas ones an
The Overton Window. If He‘s coming to my Area I’ll probably go I’m still a Beck Fan
just not as big a fan as I once was. An his Support of Rick Santorum Confuses Me.
Rick is the weakest of the 9 that started this Race ? An his Hatred for Newt makes
    no sense.
I’ll get off my Soap Box now.

I haven‘t been to any of Glenn’s shows but have pretty much gone the same path with everything else. I do pay for GBTV but right now I have other things going on that are a lot more important than his show. I like Glenn, even went to his live show in NY when he was on Fox, it was great. I think I owe him some gratitude since he has opened my eyes to a lot of things. I just don’t need to hear it everyday right now.

One of the biggest crimes that has happened are some of the comments on this board. Between the inability to just state your opinion without the childlike name calling, and vulgar responses. People have stopped being adults.

What a waste of money going on a tour to prove he’s unelectable, that’s always been pretty obvious. In fact, where did he ever get the idea anyone would want to elect him for anything except perhaps Bozo of the decade?

During every comedy tour period Mr Beck tells the story that he met at last night’s show a Cuban immigrant who told him America is great and Communism is bad.

I’ve heard him do it 3 times.

      She must follow him around.

Mr. Beck is so transparently phony. I find him hilarious.

Jefferson, Mr. Beck and Alex Jones are night and day, Alex takes calls and lets people say their piece, even though the word count is 20 for Alex for every caller word. He doesn’t cut people off. He gives them time. He respects other people.

Mr. Beck doesn‘t believe in allowing other viewpoints on his show and has explained that he doesn’t believe an opposing viewpoint would change his listeners minds. He lets a few people on when it fits into the current bit they have written for that day’s show. Like yesterday, he took calls from people who said they saw him weekend performances.

      @MARYBETH
I wasn’t really referring to that aspect. Of course GB is going to screen his calls. There are too many people out there that would publicly humiliate him for being the shill that he is.
True enough that AJ talks over his callers/guests frequently, but at least he ACTUALLY questions boldly, compared to the phony Beck who only allows you to color within the lines of what HE considers “questioning boldly.”
GB gives 60% of “the truth” which he ridiculously claims “lives here.” The other 40%, he drags a red herring across the trail so that you don’t actually zero in on the REAL criminals. He likes to focus everyone’s attention on Soros, who is merely a cog in a giant piece of machinery.
He’s a self admitted “rodeo clown.” He’s there to distract you from the man who has been riding on your back, and make you think it was someone else. “It takes great skill” as he says.
I don’t particularly like AJ or agree with everything he does or says, but I know he is real. I‘ve watched AJ since he was in his early 20’s on public access TV, going after the UN and other criminal entities that have hijacked our country.

There is no way the founding Father’s thought slavery was morally wrong, because when one thinks something is morally wrong then they don’t do it. And if they had really thought they were living in the end-times then, then one would think they would stop doing something they saw as morally wrong. And if their fear of their friends opinions outweighed the things they thought were morally wrong, then they didn’t feel that strongly about doing immorally wrong slavery.
