Beck Launches Week of ‘Restoring Courage’ Events From Israel

Glenn Beck Launches Restoring Courage Events From Caesarea

As the sun eased it’s way into the Mediterranean horizon Sunday evening, Glenn Beck greeted an enthusiastic crowd of over 3,000 at the Caesarea Amphiteater: “Welcome to the land of milk and honey!”

Beck’s week of “Restoring Courage” events began with a religiously themed evening entitled “The Courage to Love.”

Scroll down for more pictures and for a special slideshow click here

Early in the program Beck was joined on the stage by historian David Barton who told the crowd they were “sitting in the middle of history.”

Grammy-nominated vocalist Vernessa Mitchell was accompanied by an ensemble of Israeli singers and musicians.

In the first half of the program the audience heard passionate remarks by author Mike Evans and Florida pastor Tom Mullins.

Mullins challenged the capacity crowd:

“It’s time for the people of faith to stand with a courage that flows from God’s deep love and defend Israel!

We are gathered in the very spot, where, centuries ago, the faith of the Apostle Paul was put on trial.  Paul resolutely refused to compromise the truth of his faith. He stood with great courage and embraced his destiny; and his life had profound, eternal impact on the world.”

Rabbi Shlomo Riskin defined “courage” in contrast with its “fraternal twin” strength:

“Strength  is physical prowess: Courage is spiritual sensitivity.

Strength is rooted in selfish self aggrandizement, hell-bent on taking over and dominating “other” on destroying one’s enemy.

Courage is rooted in self sacrifice, Heaven-sent to give to and share with “other” to turn one‘s hated enemy into one’s beloved friend.

Strength revels in power.

Courage reaches out in love.”

Indeed, Courage begets and demands love; the very Hebrew word for love Ahava, derives from the root verb HAV which means to give.

Pastor John Hagee spoke just before Beck’s concluding remarks:

“We have come tonight to say to the people of Israel, you are still the apple of God’s eye, you are still the chosen people, you are still the covenant people, you are still cherished the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”

Beck began his final talk by asking the audience to “Honor these people who have honored God for so long.”

While noting that many in the crowd had come at “great expense,“ he praised those who had come at ”great risk” to their personal safety.

Mindful that some had predicted the events of “Restoring Courage” would bring “chaos and mayhem,” Beck joked, “It’s the Middle East — how would they know!”

To make it clear that his intention that the week’s events be non-political, Beck declared, “The God of Abraham ain’t running for office.”

“Are you standing where God asks you to stand?“ Beck advised everyone present to be prepared to ”make a declaration“ in a week where he said he expected to see ”miracles.”

Here are some pictures from the early moments of the program.

This post will be updated throughout the evening.

Those of you having a difficult time logging in, I did as well but I think it was because so many were trying to log in at the same time! What a great event this was with so much meaning! Can’t wait for the next one—looks like a lot of computers are going to be very busy this week. There is a rebroadcast tonight at 7:30 ET so those that missed the one just finished can catch the one this evening! It is well worth the time!

I had tears in my eyes, and felt the emotion of true love watching Glenn Beck in Israel. As the pastor and all the others have said, “We stand with Israel. God Bless Glenn and all those who could make it over there. A special pray goes to the people of Israel. Can‘t wait until tomorrow’s show. Thank you Glenn for GBTV.

I had the same issue until I figured it out.Now that Insider Extreme has gone full-blown to GBTV they want you to create a new password. I guess this is only for people that rolled over to GBTV form Extreme. No special characters are allowed now. Give that a try and watch the re-run at 7:30 Pm EST. Hope this works for you. It did for me.

It was a great program today. For those of you having problems logging on and retrieving the pod casts, you need to go to GBTV, click on the Login up in the upper right hand corner, it will say “Existing GBTV Subscriber Login”, enter your email address rather than the usual log in user name such as “I_am_a_troll_crashing_the_party” (just kidding) just your regular username. and then your password.

For your podcast log in you will now use user name: your email address and for Password: your password. This is covered under the FAQ under “Having trouble logging In?” I believe is the topic.

I still thank God for the work He’s doing in Israel and around the world. @ruchamah

Perhaps you should go to gbtv.com and look at the CONTACT US page. There is a number listed there. It’s only Mon – Fri, but so … that’s 1/2 a day away. Additionally, if you have password trouble, you certainly can click on “Forgot Password” so a new one is emailed to you … it’s a relatively simple concept.

Some of the bitchin‘ I’m seeing here is exactly what is wrong with the world today — people have very little patience. People need to understand that some things take time; some things break; some things don’t work until fixed. If more people had patience, there would be so much less trouble in this world.

I had problems downloading Friday’s podcasts from iTunes and could not sign in to gbtv on Sat. Here is how I finally fixed the problems — I had been signing into both using my username (which was different from my email address). In GBTV, I tried instead using my email address to sign in and was prompted to re-establish a password, so that took care of that. I then went into iTunes and typed in my email address instead of my old username, added the password, and that took care of the problem — the podcasts downloaded immediately. Looks like our old usernames have been discarded and replaced with our email address.
Also at the bottom of the page in gbtv is a FAQ for Roku users. Just went to the channel store on Roku and set mine up. I’m not a tech genius — just needed to read and follow the instructions.
I agree with another poster that we can all exercise more patience — these events will be available on demand, so if there’s a technical difficulty, you won’t miss the boat. Hope this helps, folks.

Ok, three hours waiting on the phone, before I finally got a technician.

She was quite cordial… Spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out what my problem is. She was able to confirm I had an account. She changed my password and gave it over the phone, asked me to try to log in. The new passwords wouldn’t work… She was able to repeat the issue on her own computer, it wouldn’t let her login. She had no idea how to fix it, so is moving it up to her supervisor. I now have to wait for a phone call or another email concerning how to get in if they fix the problem…

Sigh… At least she was very nice. Hopefully they can fix it before I miss live feed day 2.

This was because they were moving all the account data from Glennbeck.com servers to GBTV.com servers… or something like that. Have you tried looking at your email to see if you missed that one? I tried to login with my user name and it did not work. Finally, used my email account associated with Insider Extreme (GBTV) as my login ID and was able to login. I have a slow internet connection so there was some stopping and starting. I will hopefully be able to watch the rebroadcast tonight at 7:30pm ET without the stopping and starting.

Try again to login. There is a note about needing to “migrate” your account. That wasn’t their for the last 2 days. I sent several emails and never got a reply but I did finally see the special note on logging in and completed the migration and now I can get to the GBTV content.

I missed the initial broadcast but the re-broadcast is later today and you will still be able to catch the other events.

Try a different initial-when you 1st type in GBTV and it gives you different choices…try a different one to click on. Hope this helps.

I logged in with my old user name and password .. it prompted me that my new user name would be my email address and to put a password for that in password field and then in a verify field also. I used my same password … and after was able to log into GBTV using new user name and password.

I too had a hard time yesterday logging in and it kind of freaked me out and pissed me off since I have been an extreme member since the beginning. What I did was went to the “lost my password” button. They sent me a new password eventually, and when you go to log-in for the first time after receiving a password from them you can put your old password back in. I now also use my email address as my user name. I think this all had to do with the change over to the new GBTV. Yeah, if I wasn’t able to log-in today they would have heard wholly H*ll from me tommorrow. The broadcast today was amazing. I watched it on our TV with my parents. They thought it was pretty cool and they said it felt like we were attending church this morning. Good luck to all !

So they found out there is a problem, they too were able to ‘repeat the problem’ on their end! They are looking into how to resolve it. The only problem is now I’m still waiting its been about 3 hours since I called… I’m now trying to call again.

Next time you go grocery shopping, actually ask (not the teenage kid in the aisle) WHO PICKED those blueberries you want to buy. Choice A=$1.99 a pint/local grown picked by illegals + child labor vs. Choice B=$2.29 per pint/local grown picked by American teens on a Summer Job making $ for College???

It is a country founded by non-believing Jews who did not understand the historic destiny and belief system of the Jewish people.

We Jews appreciate the friendship of gentiles like you. We stress, however, that if someone truly likes Jews, they will want to have Jews as neighbors, not encourage them to run off to the other side of the world to a place where their gentile neighbors do not appreciate their activities.

I can only answer for myself. I support the state of Israel because I support the covenant the G-D of Israel made to Abraham and his descendants. My Bible is pretty implicit on not dividing that land and breaking that covenant. I know the whole state of Israel was the Rothchild’s vision…many ideas about the reasons behind that vision.
But I also know this….I was a small child when WWII was over. Children were not protected from the truth in those days, so I saw newsreel after newsreel coming out of Europe and Germany. Those pictures were things you DO NOT forget.
I do not think, like some of your faith, that it is your obligation to make Alyah back to Israel; but NEVER again do I want Jewish people to need somewhere to go…….and have nowhere to go!! So yes, I fully support the State of Israel…having you as a neighbor is great…BUT never underestimate evil!!

      ————-
That disconnect you perceive is because you don’t believe in the New Covenant or the light it sheds on the OT, therefore you are operating under the letter of the Old Covenant.

I support all non-apostate Jews (by “apostate” meaning those who aid & abet Israel’s enemies) AND the State of Israel. The reason for the latter is that God has a plan for Israel once they are grafted back into the vine (Jesus Christ). Secular Israeli Jews WILL believe, because when the Time of the Gentiles has ended, they will see Jesus and believe in him (Zech 12:10). God protects Israel for two reasons: He made an everlasting covenant with Abraham, and Jerusalem is holy (separated) unto his Son for his earthly reign.

For a riveting account of how God has supernaturally protected the Holy Land, you might want to watch Against All Odds, a TV series that airs on TBN and is hosted by Michael Greenspan, a self-professed secular Jew (go figure).

      ****
As Christian, (the term means Christlike) we owe our position as forgiven beings to the Jewish people, not that we’re to worship you, but that all our scriptures point out that God promised that through the seed of Abraham, “and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee, and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Gen 12:3) Then in our New Testament book of Ephesians God led the Apostle Paul to write “that the Gentiles shuld be fellowheirs, and of the [same body] and partakers of His promise in Christ, by the Gospel. (ch. 3: 6) and if the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel) had not been established in this blessing, our Savior would not have been born. Our prayer for Israel echoes Pauls “That they might be saved”, not that you, as Jews have no chance of salvation, but that ALL your scriptures and worship pointed to the coming of your Messiah, but that a group of politicians had taken over your Synagogues and chose to be “Politically Correct with the Romans with preferring that one man they considered a Rabble-Rouser die, rather than have the Romans shut down their worship. Rather it is the relationship personally of each with his God, that the Creator wants, if they had had that they would have recognized Mess

Most are simply toothless, ignorant, and too slothful to read history books therefore they listen to fools like John Hagee and Glenn Beck who are nearly as ignorant as they are whereas they could take a few hours and read through their New Testament and learn that today the “Israel of God” is the Church.

But like I said this is an extremely ignorant and brainwashed group of people but alot of that rests on the shoulders of your fellow Jews in Hollywood and in our Media for deceiving them so thoroughly. Most are simply Zombie Zionist. ;)

I do not view Jesus as the Messiah or see human sacrifice as a way to atone for sin.
      ———–
From a human standpoint, Jesus was killed, so I would hardly call it “human sacrifice.” It was, however, God’s sacrifice. HE sent his Son to die in the hands of ungodly men — both Jew and Gentile. The veil of the Temple was torn in two from TOP to bottom (Matt. 27:51)

Only blood can atone for the soul (Lev. 17:11). However, man was created in the likeness (image) of God. Therefore animals can only atone for remission of sins; only a man could redeem humankind. Israel’s sins (plural) were forgiven, but no one can stand before a Holy God in their sin (fallen nature). We needed a sinless redeemer, and that was Jesus:

“Being justified [made righteous] freely by his grace through the redemption tha is in Christ Jesus: Whom God set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past through the forbearance of God.” (Romans 3:24,25)

REMISSION of sins was a covering provided by God in his forbearance, until the time when REDEMPTION, i.e., payment for sin was made available to all men (we all need redemption), through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ:

“…But he [Jesus] has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.” (Hebrews 9:26)

Who will atone for your SIN before the Most Holy G-d?

Here’s a little something to ponder re: Jesus’ crucifixion…John 19:30 NIV “When he had received the drink, Jesus said,”It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.” Matthew 27:50 “And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.” Mark 15:44 “Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead. Summoning the centurion, he asked him if Jesus had already died.”

Pilate was surprised that Jesus had died so quickly. Two of the gospel accounts state that Jesus breathed his last, and the two quoted above state that Jesus “gave up his spirit”. The question to ponder is whether it can be said that Jesus was killed — he died, but was it because he was killed or did he, at the moment of his choosing when his mission was complete, give up his spirit (as one who was both fully divine and fully human). Interesting to think about, since this takes away the notion that any one person or group “killed” Jesus. Besides, isn‘t the real issue each person’s status as a helpless sinner in need of redemption, and God’s answer to that problem?

LAM2: That’s very thoughtful and considerate of you and all but in order to remove the guilt you’d pretty much have to rewrite the entire NT wouldn’t you? I mean a considerable portion of the text deals with the Jew’s scheming plotting and planning to murder Jesus. Then their attention was turned to Paul, the Apostles and the Christians in general.. Finally they pleaded that the Blood of Jesus be upon them and their future Generations. Once again that’s very considerate of you but let’s not begin rewriting the New Testament for the sake of removing guilt from a people who very much wanted it to begin with. Maybe it would do many of the so called Christians on the Blaze some good to realize that?

True. Jesus said, “No one takes my life from me. I give my life of my own free will. I have the authority to give my life, and I have the authority to take my life back again.” (John 10:18). Furthermore, on several occasions before the perfect 3-year time lapse (3 is the number of God), the crowds tried to kill him, but they were unsuccessful. So God was always in control.

From a HUMAN standpoint, though, he was crucified by all humanity. Let’s not be PC. Both Roman and Jewish rulers participated in the act. The Apostle Paul says,

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (1 Cor. 2:7-8)

I pointed that out to show Johnny that it was not HUMAN sacrifice. The sacrificial act was entirely God’s doing. God sent his Son, and Jesus voluntarily gave himself up to redeem humanity.

Yeah, I’ve had nothing but problems with the Insider Extreme (auto-renewal supposedly expired, even though the card had not changed) I tried to “renew” it, didn’t work. I’ve been fighting with customer service for 2 1/2 months. So I just went ahead and ordered GBTV for one month and got that working.

    @ HEADBTWEENLEGS:

Why should this event “DO” something for the USA ? This is for Israel… Israel is our only true friend in the entire region and he’s showing that he stands with them. Those that are showing up are also standing with Israel.

It’s very simple; don’t think too hard for other motives…

He started a project in Willimgton that made a huge difference in that town. He will be manufacturing a clothing line from a US city/town soon, which will bring jobs to the area and support charities. He’s got things going on domestically and internationally – you just aren’t informed.

His handlers or his puppeteers wouldn’t pay him for those efforts?? lol Glenn is simply a shill for the Jewish elite. Their game is coming to an end and they realize they are about to be exposed once again for the entire world to see. Glenn is attempting to block the rage that will come from the Conservative side since that is what happened in Germany once the people understood what had happened to them.

He’s been fairly successful but again once the people find out he will not be able to shield the Jews from the Evil which they have perpetrated upon their fellow man or animal I suppose if you consider their Talmudic teachings. Either way games up!

For those asking why is he doing this, such as Headbtweenlegs, are you serious? Perhaps you have heard of the holocaust, perhaps you have heard that the jews are God’s chosen people, perhaps you know that since WWII the US has stood firm with Israel until the present administration which has given them the cold shoulder more than once. Considering Iran has called for Israel to be wiped off the map and are working on a nuke to actually do it, and we, the US, being there strongest supporter shying away from them, can’t you see why it is so important, it’s imperative to show a strong stand for Israel. Glenn firmly believes God has literally saved his life, blessed him with a second chance to have a great family, career, and life. In short guys, I believe Glenn has been called upon by God to do this. Most of us don’t even hear such calls, much less answer them. Thanks Glenn and may God continue to bless you.
