Beck Lifts ‘CALIPHATE’ From Obscurity to #3 Google Trend

Caliphate.  A word that most Americans probably have not heard.

A word that is not in the digital version of the Oxford-English dictionary.

A word and a concept that until this week was relatively obscure and then FOX TV‘s Glenn Beck decided to explain the word and it’s meaning to his sizable audience.

And so Beck’s chalkboards were used to explain the meaning of Caliphate.  But as he always does, Mr. Beck challenged his audience to do their own homework and investigate all of the information he delivers on his nightly program.  Google recorded so many searches for “caliphate” and “caliphate definition” that both cracked the top five in Google trends.

Please everyone pray for Mr. Beck’s safety. He goes beyond the call of duty for the love of our country, and tries his heart out to inform and prepare us for what may be just around the bend. Thank you Glenn Beck, stay safe, stay well and may God and his guardian angels always watch over you and your staff and family. I , among many love you little brother!

Pretty much the whole of western Europe was on Beck’s map. As previously stated, the UK is c. 3 or 4% Muslim, France is the highest (at least of the major European nations) at around 8% (presumably because of immigration from North Africa), Germany is at around 5% (presumably because of Turkish immigration – and Turks are generally secular Muslims), Spain is at around 2.5% and Italy is 1.5%.

So no, I don‘t think there’s going to be an Islamic States of Europe anytime soon.

Beck‘s ’throw everything at the wall and see what sticks‘ approach means that occasionally he’ll be able to point to something and claim to have predicted it, but it doesn’t mean he has a track record of success. Provide an example of something he called right with any kind of accuracy. Just one will do.

The Weimar moment came towards the end of last year, but I haven’t noticed anything even remotely resembling hyperinflation kick in yet. And this is the seventh Archduke Ferdinand moment in the last four years.

The advantage of being on air for what? 4 hours a day? is you get to say A LOT of things. And occasionally one of those things will prove to be true. But it’s not accuracy, it’s chance.

Oh let‘s see Keith Olbermann’s firing. He predicted that. The housing market crash was mentioned by him months before it happened, Gold being a solid investment although now I would move that so silver/sterling and other precious metals. He also predicted the world would start trying to force a dump of the American dollar and a push to a one world currency. I do believe the IMF just put out a report calling for the American dollar to be dumped as the world’s reserve and the creation of a one world currency. Many of the moves made by unions over the past 2 years Beck has predicted. What else………..OH YEAH! The actual financial collapse that happened people were calling him a fear mongering wacko for that one. I remember he was telling people to get out of the regular market and go to gold and this was LONG before he was a goldline spokesperson. I think that was more than just one.

Oh and also “Glenn Beck isn’t exactly the most respected voice in the climate change conversation (though he may strive to be the loudest). Yet all that may change after people realize that he actually hit the nail on the head with his predictions last year for what woes climate change would bring upon the world. See the video documenting this unlikely occurrence after the jump.” This last piece was taken from treehugger.com you can check it out I have not changed any of that.

“Oh let‘s see Keith Olbermann’s firing. He predicted that.”

You know for a fact he was fired, and for what reason? Because I missed that story.

“The housing market crash was mentioned by him months before it happened,”

Do you have proof of that? And was it a time when no-one else was predicting such a thing, or was he a lone voice?

“Gold being a solid investment although now I would move that so silver/sterling and other precious metals.”

In times of market volatility gold offers security. But the usefulness of the investment depends on its nature. Overpriced gold coins, for example, are not a good investment.

So claiming gold as a good investment doesn’t really qualify as a prediction.

“He also predicted the world would start trying to force a dump of the American dollar and a push to a one world currency. I do believe the IMF just put out a report calling for the American dollar to be dumped as the world’s reserve and the creation of a one world currency.”

So no actual attempt on the part of the world to force a dump of the dollar then?

And when did he make this ‘prediction’? Because economists have been talking about such a thing for years (I believe Keynes may have been the first to propose it), and the clamour has grown greater since the global financial collapse.

“Many of the moves made by unions over the past 2 years Beck has predicted.”

      Like what?

“OH YEAH! The actual financial collapse that happened people were calling him a fear mongering wacko for that one. I remember he was telling people to get out of the regular market and go to gold and this was LONG before he was a goldline spokesperson.”

      Again, can you prove this?

“I think that was more than just one.”

It was a nice try. Come back again when you have actual predictions, though.

Can I assume you haven’t actually been to the treehugger website yourself? Because, in reference to the video, they go on to say “the host [Mr. Beck] makes sarcastic predictions about what will happen in 20 years because of climate change. Thing is, it looks like just about all of his supposedly outlandish predictions came to pass in one form or another just last month”. He wasn’t actually making predictions about climate change, he was trying to be funny in order to be critical of the theory. His jokes backfired by coming true, is what treehugger is actually saying.

Maybe not the world although the IMF is most definitely made up of those from more than 2 or 3 world governments. China, Russia and the Middle east have put forth VERY REAL measure to try to move from the dollar being the world‘s reserve Maybe you don’t really keep up with the times if you need me to tell you about that one. And these have been much more tangible than anything previously.

Olbermann I can’t give you actual documents proving his firing but 90% of those who give a crap pretty much agree that he has been, I will strike this one out though.

I don’t know the date of the radio program because this is long before I saw him on TV but he started saying to get out of the normal market and into gold (not coins by the way) somewhere around 4 years ago while Bush was still in office. Oh and on that note he was giving Bush one hell of a time back then too so he doesn’t just go after one side 100% of the time. I listened to him say it on the radio and that’s enough for me. I know he said it and everyone else here that has listened for some time knows he said it.

The Fannie Mae thing he brought up in 2005. I was there for that one he was still on CNN then and he had Ron Paul or someone on and they both felt that there would be a housing debt crisis.

Anyhow I don’t need to prove anything to the likes of you guys. None of your messiah’s predictions of man made global warming have come true. Show me irrefutable proof of that.

First of all, unless it actually happens it isn’t a prediction. Secondly, a prediction isn’t simply repeating what people are saying and have been saying since Keynes.

“I don’t know the date of the radio program because this is long before I saw him on TV but he started saying to get out of the normal market and into gold (not coins by the way) somewhere around 4 years ago while Bush was still in office.”

Care to link to audio? Surely an accurate prediction would have been trumpeted by Mr. B, so you could probably find proof on his website.

Also, recommending gold as an investment isn’t a prediction.

“The Fannie Mae thing he brought up in 2005. I was there for that one he was still on CNN then and he had Ron Paul or someone on and they both felt that there would be a housing debt crisis.”

Are you sure about this? The earliest interview I can find between the 2 is from December 18 2007, and the only reference to a housing debt crisis is Mr. Paul saying “You know, we have a mortgage bubble crash. We had to bail out the mortgage companies. Everybody gets bailed out.”.

      That’s not a prediction, and it’s not Mr. B.

“Anyhow I don’t need to prove anything to the likes of you guys. None of your messiah’s predictions of man made global warming have come true. Show me irrefutable proof of that.”

I assume “your messiah” is a reference to Al Gore? He’s not my messiah. Sorry.

This (http://www.skepticalscience.com/empirical-evidence-for-global-warming.htm) is a fairly succinct summary of how man-made global warming can be measured.

I was “on the path” before I knew who Beck was, I wasn’t a fan instantly and took some time but his coverage was like the final piece of the puzzle I have been working on.

my only problem is when Beck was naming muslim brotherhood fronts, he missed the most visible. the Council for American Islamic Relations CAIR. The one everyone including fox is using to defend muslims. bing (google is evil) CAIR brotherhood and have a look.

Glenn, you have people talking. Don’t get confused by Egypt today. Its the Muslim Brotherhood behind the violence. Where have all of the people freed from prison gone? What happened to the stolen uniforms I read about? How come the media is not reporting about Hamas and a now open border with Gaza and Egypt? If you get access, find about the red scarves with yellow crescents and stars (like Saladin) that the camel riders have tied around their wastes under their coats.

One hope for the West and peace loving people in the Middle East is to learn about the Pre-Abrahamic history which has just recently been available due to advances in carbon dating of archeology and artifacts. Also how Islam is reconstituted pagan worship under the guise of a monotheistic religion. All this is made clear in this historic interview on Israel National Radio:

Beck deserves credit. But it’s also heartening to see how many people ARE doing the homework he suggests and finding out for themselves what the facts are behind opinions they should take. Of course, I‘m just waiting for troll Broker0101’s comment here about how we’re all just conspiracy theory robots blaming Soros for everything. Maybe he’ll stay quiet though, seeing how this story kinda undermines his entire broken-record argument.

Well this only proves that Glenn Beck‘s viewers and listener’s are close minded and not educated. Glenn Beck’s followers have no idea what “fair and balanced” in broadcasting means.

the days of Glenn Beck drawing three million viewers are long gone, and they’re never coming back.

But at this rate, the two-million viewership mark seems to be slipping away, too. Glenn Beck now routinely flirts with ratings in the 1.6-1.8 million range, which is almost exactly half the rating Beck was getting one year ago.
In truth, that’s how many viewers Glenn Beck used to attract when the host was on vacation and somebody less famous stood in for him. Now that’s how many tune in when he’s there in the studio.

Also, consider the mountain of media attention Beck basked in during the last twelve months and how he’s supposed to be the point person for a grassroots American movement. And then realize his audience is down 50% from where it was 12 months ago. Kind of weird, right?

And yes, the decline comes in the wake of news that Beck’s nationally syndicated radio show was recently yanked out of two of the countries largest markets, New York and Philadelphia.

And that’s despite the big media pushes Beck tried to orchestrate in December by taking his live radio and TV show to Wilmington, Ohio, and that’s despite the huge news story surrounding the Tucson gun massacre in which Beck was featured when the focus turned to today’s far-right anti-government rhetoric.
Despite the newsworthy events, Beck’s ratings never spiked. Instead, they remain consistently below his 2010 average as he continues to limp into 2011.

Well now it’s official. Glenn Beck’s audience is illiterate and not educated.

If anyone on the left or on MSNBC were to tell their readers, listerners or their viewers to do their homework then everyone on the right would call them illiterate or not well read.

well if you Google “ Muslim Brotherhood” and then go to “ Wikipedia” you get a link to “ Caliphate ”
and some maps similar to Glenn’s…….

The term caliphate (from the Arabic خلافة or khilāfa, Turkish: Halife ) refers to the first system of government established in Islam, and represented the political unity of the Muslim Ummah (nation). In theory, it is a constitutional republic[1] (see Constitution of Medina), meaning that the head of state (the Caliph) and other officials are representatives of the people and must govern according to Islamic law, which limits the government’s power over citizens.

Isn’t it amazing how far that Glenn has come on his TV program? It all started with an investigation into a small, broken-down building in New Orleans that was being used as a mail drop/money distribution point for the left-wing, then thought crackpot organization, ACORN. It’s all lead to Marxists and Muslim radicals working to take over the world!

      It’s just flat amazing!

Beck is a true Patriot. I can’t think of ONE time he has ever lied about anything on his show. Unlike most other commentators and news shows he actually reports the news. And a lot of what he warns us about usually ends up happening. I don’t agree with everything he says, but I trust him over most of the media.

The liberals can call us all kinds of names and accuse us of being sheeple, but I’d rather be a sheeple for the truth than an idiot who follows the dark side. I love having history revealed so I can figure it out for myself too. I love Glenn Beck: he has the balls to untangle all the parts of history that have been hidden for much too long. This just drive “them” crazy that we are learning what “they” are trying to do to us. Be very afraid of “them” and how “they” are wanting to destroy America as we’ve known it. I love America, but I also love freedom and never want to live like most of the rest of the world. Travel and see how much of the world lives as 2nd class citizens due to their government and the ones who control their very lives. No wonder so many want to come to America, the last hope. Let’s not let America follow the rest of the world.
