Beck Literally Runs & Screams After Hearing Romney Is Considering Pawlenty as VP: ‘You Will Lose!’

Glenn Beck literally got out of his seat and started screaming after hearing the news that Mitt Romney is seriously considering former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty as vice president.
According to the New York Times, Romney’s friends believe the Republican candidate has already made his decision and could announce his choice as soon as this week.
“So what you want is a ticket with both a Massachusetts ‘conservative,‘ and a Minnesota ’conservative’?” Beck asked incredulously.
“Romney,” he added: “you will lose.”
Watch the hilarious and somewhat startling clip, below:
Beck overruled some of the stated benefits of Pawlenty, like that he is perceived as “moderate” and won’t commit any major gaffes, arguing: “We just elected the most liberal man to ever be in the Senate of the United States, and then he did ‘Mr. Hair Plug’ [Joe Biden]…are you kidding me?”
“The good thing about Mitt Romney is, he doesn’t make mistakes…he will never say anything that will embarrass us…he is a man of character…the bad thing about Mitt Romney is, he is afraid of his own shadow! He is afraid of being bold…be bold, Mitt! These times call for bold action, and if you put another liberal…already nobody trusts that you are conservative,” Beck explained.
“Please, please Mitt, don’t put somebody else on the ticket that, you know, loved global warming. I’ve talked to Tim Pawlenty, I believe him. He had to do the things he had to do for Minnesota, and you had to do the things you had to do for Massachusetts,” Beck continued, before adding: “Give me somebody who did the right thing somewhere.”
“Pick somebody else vanilla from some place else that actually has a spine!” Beck said in response to claims that pollsters probably see Pawlenty as a safe alternative after Sarah Palin.
The discussion on Pawlenty follows a similar one from Friday, when Beck and his radio crew discussed the rumors of Condi Rice joining the ticket:
Do you think Glenn Beck is right? How do you feel about the news that Mitt Romney could pick Tim Pawlenty as his running-mate?
Take our poll on who you would pick, below:

Posted on July 16, 2012 at 6:47pmyou guys are so funny!
Report Post »After reading some of the followinig posts you’ld think Romney has already chosen his VP, ran his election campaign, gave his defeat speech and faded into oblivion. Soybean has it mostly right on this post–campaigns routinely let out press balloons to see what the reaction of the electorate will be. But also, they focus group test every possible combination of vp candidate, ads, appearances, press releases, speeches, etc. Romney is a survivor of an intense primary where he had to battle such political giants as ron pau.. ah I mean newt gring…, what I was trying to say was rick santor..etc….Well, what I meant was he took on all comers and beat them by an margin of 2 to 1 on his nearest competitor(popular vote stats). This after they were all beating up on him.
So, I kinda trust Romney to do two things: 1. The right thing & 2. The politically right thing. Now, for you paulbot, obamaton trolls, don’t explode your heads yet. Romney will do the right thing. He will not bow to political pressure, or even popular pressure to nominate the ‘wrong’ VP. Also, he will nominate a VP who will help him get elected, help him correct the errors of obama and will help him get this country working again.
So, I’ll not gleefully lick my chops like a hungry wolf everytime a news release comes out and I think it may not be the best thing. Instead, I’ll sit back and watch all the NUTJOBs out there act the fool, while I enjoy a cool drink!

Posted on July 16, 2012 at 8:28pmWhat else would you expect from “Mitt the Weather Vane Romney” ?
He is consistent only in following the wind, and not having core convictions. His only conviction is promoting himself to winning for the sake of winning.
He is the pragmatic brown-noser, Had he lived in Germany in 1938 he would have gotten into the rail road business, or mustard gas business, as well as shorting any Jewish company stocks. Not because I believe he is an Anti Semitic, but because it would be winning for him, ad besides the Nazi’s would find someone else to do it anyway, so “ I might as well be the one that makes money on it”.
I am sorry to say that an increasingly number of Americans are of the same spineless ilk as the Weather Vane, following their god the $.
Our founding fathers had they been alive today they would have started a revolution before Obama ever came to office.
A vote for Mitt is a wasted vote. Mitt is our John McCain, or Bob Dole/ Gerald Ford. The RNC always push for people that won’t change a thing. They gave us both the Bushes, and fought tooth and nail to keep Reagan from getting the nomination.
The only way I would ever vote for Mitt Romney, would be if Ron Paul got the nomination and Mitt Romney would be the Vice President. I would not even do it the other way around.
So if the RNC gets its way by having Mitt as the front runner, I along with millions of Republicans will vote for Gary Johnson. We are tired of the RNC

Posted on July 16, 2012 at 9:43pmOne thing is for sure, Sarah Palin won’t be getting the VP nod. Sure, she gives a good speech, but by now most have realized she’s a dumbsh.
You won’t read it here, but Palin wasn’t even invited to the republican convention, let alone invited to speak. The Tea Party favorite, Sarah Palin, is persona non grata and the convention, as is George Bush, Dick Cheney and anyone else associated with the Bush administration. Because America, the average American, hates those people. You may worship them but most don’t. They realize that the Bush administration was one of the worst in history for Americans if not the worst.
You won’t be seeing Palin, other rebublican candidates (don’t hold your breath for a Cain speech) or any of the Bush administration. And you know why.

You know that bush left office with an approval rating of 20%, cheney’s was 12%. Even a conservative would tell you, that administration was a nightmare, the country would have crumbled if they would have stayed in power any longer. Part of the reason obama has had some shred of success, because what came before him was so terrible, it was pretty hard to do worse… and btw, the fact that you would vote for sarah palin “just because liberals hate her”, is pretty foolish.

Posted on July 18, 2012 at 3:34amJSCIAI, Romney is not going to be able to get this country back to work again. The damage to our economy is too bad at this point. It is going to crash larger than you can imagine. I have been saying this for a long time and now someone else who predicted the 2008 crash and the housing bubble in his book (have you read it?), Peter Schiff: http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/breakout/america-heading-towards-collapse-worse-2008-europe-says-155504860.html
Everyone better start getting prepared if you have not already. Nobody is going to be able to stop it. It is inevitable at this point, actually it has been inevitable since Bush made the remarks that we had to abandon the free market in order to save it. That is when the downhill slide started, and Obama has sped it up. Romney will only slightly slow it down, to more like Bushes speed to the cliff, making the result even worse later.
When are all of you going to step up to the plate and decide to take some lumps for your future generation of family or do you want to just be selfish and kick the can down to them? Wake up people, we are real close to losing everything that many of our past generations spilled lots of blood and gave their lives for.
We need a POTUS, and Congressmen, when this happens that truly believes in the Constitution and Bill of Rights and takes his oath to protect and defend it seriously.

All empires collapse due to monetary reasons. “Get your learn on bro” you have some history to research. While you and the other Beck disciples want to fight a WW3 in the name of “Freedom and Democracy.” I’d rather have a sensible foreign policy that involves NO nation-building, NO preemptive wars, and NO unconstitutional wars. And if you actually research Ron Paul’s foreign policy, he was endorsed by Ronald Reagan because of his foreign policy views.

He has also stated on multiple occasions that if a serious threat was to emerge, that he would have Congress declare war, commit to winning it, and then bringing the troops back home when it is finished. If you call yourself a Conservative, this is the ONLY stance on foreign policy. It was the stance of Robert Taft, Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan, and now Ron Paul. Sounds like you need to stop worshipping Glenn Beck. Your argument is almost the same, word for word, as Glenn’s ( which is also the same as John McCain…..yikes! ). Neither you or Beck know the difference between earmarking and pork. It is the duty of congress to earmark every dime that Washington spends. If Washington takes OUR money, why shouldn’t we be able to get OUR money back to fix OUR roads, streets, ect? That is the reason that we elect and send representatives to Washington; to serve OUR interests and needs and to bring some of OUR money back to OUR district.

I get your frustration, but the above statement is untrue. Our votes do count, but as long as we continue to vote en masse for establishment candidates we render the votes irrelevant. This election is another example. What difference is it going to make if we end up with President Obama or Governor Romney? Answer; very, very little difference.
We, the voters, are screwing up the system because we follow right along with what we’re told to do. Step outside the box. And work to nurture alternate parties and candidates. Vote for the candidate that best represents your interpretation of the Constitution, not the one the the media says is the best. If we continue to believe in the paradigm of the two party system then you will be right. Our votes will not count. Peace.
